Special Committees. 1. The Association Council shall be assisted in the performance of its duties by the Special Committees established in this Agreement.
2. The Association Council may decide to set up any Special Committee.
3. The Association Council shall adopt rules of procedure which determine the composition and duties of such committees and how they shall function, insofar as not provided for by this Agreement.
Special Committees. Special Committees may be appointed by the Presidents with the approval of the Executive Board for such special tasks as warranted. Special committees shall be limited to the activities necessary to accomplish the tasks for which they were created and upon completion of such tasks, shall be discharged.
Special Committees. From time to time, the District and the Union may establish ad hoc joint management -- bargaining unit committees to discuss matters of mutual concern. Such committees shall in no way be construed as bargaining committees nor shall they be empowered to modify, in any way, the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Special Committees. In addition to the standing committees provided in Section 4.01 above, the Board of Directors may, by resolution passed by a majority of the whole board, designate one or more special committees, each committee to consist of one or more of the directors of the corporation. The Board may designate one or more directors as alternate members of any committee, who may replace any absent or disqualified member at any meeting of the committee. In the absence or disqualification of a member of a committee, the member or members thereof present at any meeting and not disqualified from voting, whether or not he or they constitute a quorum, may unanimously appoint another member of the Board of Directors to act at the meeting in the place of any such absent or disqualified member. Such committee or committees shall have such name or names as may be determined from time to time by resolution adopted by the Board of Directors. The committees shall keep regular minutes of their proceedings and report the same to the Board when required. Subject to applicable law and to the extent provided in the resolution of the Board of Directors, any committee designated hereunder shall have and may exercise all the powers of the Board of Directors, except with respect to: (i) the approval of any action which, under Chapter 78 of the Nevada Revised Statutes, also requires the approval of the full Board of Directors, or the stockholders of the outstanding shares; (ii) the filling of vacancies on the Board of Directors or in any committee; (iii) the amendment or repeal of bylaws or the adoption of new bylaws; (iv) the amendment or repeal of any resolution of the Board of Directors which by its express terms is not so amendable or repealable; (v) a distribution to the stockholders of the corporation, except at a rate or in a periodic amount or within a price range determined by the Board of Directors; or (vi) the appointment of any other committees of the Board of Directors or the members thereof.
Special Committees. Special committees may be appointed by the Chair with the concurrence of the boardBoard of Managers, for such special tasks as circumstances may warrant from time to time. Special committees shall limit their activities to the accomplishment of the tasks for which they are appointed and shall have no power to act except as specifically conferred by action of the board. Upon completion of the tasks for which created, each special committee shall stand discharged.
Special Committees. The Board shall have the right to set up special committees in order to consider specific issues. The authorities and procedures of such committees shall be determined by the Board.

Special Committees. Separate committees, each comprised of five Unit B employees as designated in writing by Local 99 to the District, shall meet periodically with District administrators responsible for the areas identified below, to discuss matters of mutual concern. There shall be no more than one such meeting per quarter in each area designated, except by mutual agreement. Such meetings shall be scheduled outside of employee duty time, to the extent possible; Local 99 shall reimburse the District for any duty time. Each committee’s charter shall be to improve operational efficiency in their designated area. The Special Education Committee’s charter shall include exchange and discussion of information related to the Consent Decree. Any agreements reached or actions undertaken by the Special Education Committee shall be within limitations set forth by the Consent Decree. The committees shall not discuss nor reach agreement with administrators regarding matters within the scope of representation including, but not limited to, matters related to wages, hours of employment or other terms and conditions of employment as defined in Section 3543.2 of the Educational Employment Relations Act. The designated subject areas for the Unit B committees shall be:
(1) Special Education;
(2) All other areas where Unit B employees are assigned. This provision shall remain in effect only during the term of this Agreement and will expire on June 30, 2011, unless expressly renewed by mutual agreement.
Special Committees. The Executive Board may establish other committees for specific purposes as necessary. The chairperson must be any active member of the Association and approved by the Executive Board. The committee may meet as required for its purposes. The committee shall terminate at the completion of its assignment or May 31st unless renewed by the Board.
Special Committees. Revised 12/18/15 The Board may establish special committees to carry out specified tasks. Special committees are comprised of board members appointed by the Board Chair with the advice of the Board. Upon the Board’s decision that a special committee’s task is complete, the special committee will ceases to exist.
