Study Activities. A. An overview of study activities include: ● conducting a multi-site cluster quasi-experimental study. The Study will identify schools using Illustrative Math® in grades 6-8 (i.e., focal sites) or those using another high- quality curriculum (i.e., comparison sites). Within each participating school, the evaluation will focus on all grade 6-8 math teachers and their students during the first and second study years (2024–25 and 2025-26, respectively). ● evaluating the district- and school-provided implementation supports as well as the implementation and impact of high-quality curriculum as measured through: district and school level administrative and focus group/ interview data; teachers’ instructional activities (measured through implementation logs and surveys and district-provided administrative data); students’ self-beliefs about mathematics (survey administered twice yearly); students’ mathematics achievement (using state administered test scores). B. For each partner district, regardless of curriculum used, WestEd will: ● provide a professional learning stipend each study year for district partners to use to support their local curriculum implementation. ● provide consultation support to district partners to assess current methods and measures used to measure teacher uptake, quality of implementation, and impact on teachers and students; WestEd will also provide additional (or new) implementation measures that could be used to supplement current approaches (e.g., surveys, logs, observations) or measures of impact (e.g., teacher surveys and interviews; student surveys). ● collect, analyze, and summarize implementation data to support continuous improvement in the partner district. WestEd will organize two meetings per year to discuss these data with a small team (~4) of district mathematics leaders from the partner district. C. WestEd will conduct all evaluation activities necessary for tracking grant outcomes, and district- or school- context and teacher and student activities during the life of the grant. The chance of a break of confidentiality is minimal due to the data security procedures at Public Health Solutions, such as password protection, email address encryption, and a firewall system.

The installation referred to in item “c” includes, but is not limited to, offshore platforms, pipelines, Oil and Gas Treatment plants, equipment and facilities for measurement of the inspected Production, wellhead equipment, production pipes, flow lines, tanks, and other facilities exclusively intended for extraction, as well as oil and gas pipelines for Production Outflow and their respective compressor and pumping stations.

  • Professional Development Activities Professional development activities are activities initiated by individual faculty members or groups of faculty members and may include attendance at conferences, workshops or seminars which facilitate the following:

The Software is not fault-tolerant and is not designed, manufactured or intended for use or resale as on-line control equipment in hazardous environments requiring fail-safe performance, such as in the operation of nuclear facilities, aircraft navigation or communication systems, air traffic control, direct life support machines, or weapons systems, in which the failure of the Software could lead directly to death, personal injury, or severe physical or environmental damage ("High Risk Activities"). Syncro and its suppliers specifically disclaim any express or implied warranty of fitness for High Risk Activities.

  • Cease Activities Upon receiving a notice of termination of this Grant, Grantee must immediately cease all activities under this Grant, unless Agency expressly directs otherwise in such notice. Upon termination, Grantee must deliver to Agency all materials or other property that are or would be required to be provided to Agency under this Grant or that are needed to complete the Project activities that would have been performed by Grantee.
