Supplementary Policies. 1. Experience credit for service outside the District 205 system shall be given for the first five (5) years. Additional experience credit may be accepted at the discretion of the Board of Education up to a maximum of full experience credit. New employees shall be placed on the salary schedule step reflecting their experience credit (i.e. 5 years experience = step 6). When the Board, by resolution duly adopted in an open meeting, documents that a critical shortage exists in a particular subject area, it may grant to the prospective employee a one-time relocation allowance to induce the teacher to accept employment in the district. 2. The salary schedule shall be added as APPENDIX B. Such schedule shall be based on the school calendar as approved by the Board. During the term of this agreement, teachers shall be paid as follows: a. For the 2018-20192023-2024 school year (Year 1), subject to Article 22, Section A(2)(f) below, teachers shall be entitled to lane movement if they meet the academic requirements for such movement and have timely applied for such movement through the Administration, and one step placement movement if they taught in the District during the 2022-2023 school year as defined in Appendix B; (all teachers on and off (due to having reached longevity status) the salary schedule during the 2023-2024 school year, including those “off-schedule,” will receive at least a 4.375%$6,000 salary increase over his or her 2017-20182022-2023 salary, as reflected in the salary schedule shown on Appendix B). All teachers shall receive retroactive pay, dating back to the first work day of the 2018-2019 school year. b. For the 2019-20202024-2025 school year (Year 2), subject to Article 22, Section A(2)(f) below, teachers shall be entitled to lane movement if they meet the academic requirements for such movement and have timely applied for such movement through the Administration, and one step movement if they taught in the District during the 2018-20192023-2024 school year.

Coursework that is completed following the start of the new school year for teachers will not advance those teachers on the salary schedule in the fall semester but may be utilized to qualify for mid-year salary adjustments. All coursework must be graduate level coursework that could be used for a new endorsement from ISBE or would qualify as credit hours towards a graduate degree in Education from institutions of higher learning that are accredited, with the accrediting body recognized by the Accreditation and Eligibility Determination Department of the U.S. Office of Education (i.e. NCATE, North Central Association, etc.). Official transcripts showing all the necessary coursework that is required for a lane change must be submitted no later than November 1st. Teachers who fail to submit the required transcripts will have their salary retroactively adjusted to the previously approved lane for the entire first semester. Additional training which advances the teacher another lane on the salary schedule shall be allowed effective for the second semester, provided the teacher notifies the Personnel Department in writing by January 15th of all coursework completed or to be completed which would qualify the teacher for a lane change. Supplementary Policies. A. The Board may (but shall not be required), upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, assign new teachers a salary which reflects some or all of the previous experience, training, education, degree, and related factors of each teacher. Thereafter, the teacher shall progress in salary, as will all of the teachers. B. The Board will pay teachers' salaries in accordance with the Addison School District 4 Salary Guidelines as shown in 19.3. C. Extra duty pay shall be in accordance with the scale shown in Appendix A. D. Eligible teachers may participate in the Board’s Retirement Benefit in Appendix B.

  • Copies of policies; letters of undertaking Each Borrower shall ensure that all approved brokers provide the Security Trustee with pro forma copies of all policies relating to the obligatory insurances which they are to effect or renew and of a letter or letters of undertaking in a form required by the Security Trustee and including undertakings by the approved brokers that: (a) they will have endorsed on each policy, immediately upon issue, a loss payable clause and a notice of assignment complying with the provisions of Clause 13.4; (b) they will hold such policies, and the benefit of such insurances, to the order of the Security Trustee in accordance with the said loss payable clause; (c) they will advise the Security Trustee immediately of any material change to the terms of the obligatory insurances; (d) they will notify the Security Trustee, not less than 14 days before the expiry of the obligatory insurances, in the event of their not having received notice of renewal instructions from that Borrower or its agents and, in the event of their receiving instructions to renew, they will promptly notify the Security Trustee of the terms of the instructions; and (e) they will not set off against any sum recoverable in respect of a claim relating to the Ship owned by that Borrower under such obligatory insurances any premiums or other amounts due to them or any other person whether in respect of that Ship or otherwise, they waive any lien on the policies, or any sums received under them, which they might have in respect of such premiums or other amounts, and they will not cancel such obligatory insurances by reason of non-payment of such premiums or other amounts, and will arrange for a separate policy to be issued in respect of that Ship forthwith upon being so requested by the Security Trustee.
