TIME ADDENDUM. The parties have agreed to the following addendum to the full-time agreement to cover part-time employees except as noted hereafter:
TIME ADDENDUM. The terms and conditions of the Full-time Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement attached to this Addendum will apply to the Part-time Unit, save and except as modified by this Addendum in the following manner:
TIME ADDENDUM. The attached part-time Addendum shall be part of this Collective Agreement and shall run concurrently with the Collective Agreement. SIGNED AT TORONTO, ONTARIO THIS DAY
TIME ADDENDUM. This addendum is attached to and forms a part of the Agreement between The St. Catharines Standard, a division of Sun Media Corporation and the CEP Southern Ontario Newsmedia Guild, Local 87-M, and covers the part-time employees as defined below.
1. A part-time employee shall be defined as:
i) an employee who is regularly scheduled to work twenty-eight (28) hours or less per week;
ii) an employee whose hours of work may fluctuate from day to day or week to week and average twenty-eight (28) hours or less per week;
iii) interns. It is understood that there is no guarantee of daily or weekly hours for any part- time employee.
2. Part-time employees shall not be used to eliminate full-time employees.
3. Part-time employees shall be covered by all provisions of this agreement except where specifically provided otherwise in the agreement or in this Addendum.
4. The probationary period shall be three months.
5. A part-time employee may work as a full-time employee temporarily to cover a vacation or absence under this agreement without affecting his or her part-time status. Part-time employees will be considered for work within the city of St. Catharines before a free-lancer providing they have the skill and ability to complete the assignment.
(i) Starting hourly rates for part-time employees shall be determined in accordance with the provisions of Article 27 (d) of this agreement.
(ii) Interns on placements of one month or more shall be paid no less than the start rate for the appropriate classification. In all other cases, payments if any, for interns shall be determined on an individual basis.
7. A part-time employee shall advance on the salary grid according to actual hours worked.
8. Part-time employees who work more than their scheduled hours shall be paid at the straight time rate for hours worked, and at the overtime rate when the daily hours worked exceed seven and one half (7-1/2) hours or when the total hours worked in the week exceed thirty-seven and a half (37- 1/2) hours.
9. A part-time employee who becomes a full-time employee will have a seniority date established on the basis of full time equivalence, with service credit given for the number of hours worked prior to becoming a full-time employee.
10. Vacation pay shall be paid on the following basis: 1 year 4% 2 years 6% 9 years 8% Vacation pay shall be paid each pay period or vacation pay period at the option of the employee.

TIME ADDENDUM. This addendum is attached to and forms a part of the Agreement between The Sun Times, Xxxx Sound, Sun Media a division of Postmedia network Inc., and Unifor Local 00-X, Xxxxxxxx Xxxxxxx Newsmedia Guild, and covers the part- time employees as defined below.
TIME ADDENDUM. This addendum is attached to and forms a part of the Agreement between The Sun Times, Xxxx Sound, a division of Osprey Media LP, and the CEP Southern Ontario Newspaper Guild, Local 87-M, and covers the part-time employees as defined below.
TIME ADDENDUM. The terms and conditions of the Full-time Bargaining Unit Collective Agreement attached to this Addendum will apply to the Part-time Unit, save and except as modified by this Addendum in the following manner: The Employer recognizes as the bargaining agent of all employees of Lincoln Place Nursing Home in Metropolitan Toronto, regularly employed for not more than (24) hours per week, and students employed during the school vacation period, save and except supervisors, persons above the rank of supervisors, office staff, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, security guards and those employed as registered or graduate nurses. The following Articles in the Full-time Collective Agreement shall not apply: Article Permanent Part-time Employees Article Effect of Absence Article Probationary Period The following shall apply: A new employee shall be known as a probationary employee until he has worked three hundred and (375) hours. It is agreed that the dismissal or lay off of a probationary employee shall not be made the subject of a grievance. An employee who has completed the probationary period shall be credited with three hundred and (375) hours of seniority. Work schedules covering a minimum four (4) week period and a maximum six week period will be posted one week in advance. Employee requests for specific days off must be submitted to the Administrator one week in advance of posting. For those employees who elect the new standard in lieu provision, the following shall apply:
TIME ADDENDUM. 1. Except as hereinafter provided, the terms and conditions of the Full-Time Agreement shall apply to part-time employees. Part-time employees are those regularly employed for less than twenty-four (24) hours per week.
2(a) Seniority shall be computed on the number of days worked since the last day of hiring. A part-time employee, who is transferred to a position covered by the Full- Time Agreement, shall be credited with full-time seniority on the basis of five (5) days of part-time work being equal to one (1) week of full-time seniority. The seniority of a part-time employee shall be completely lost and she shall be automatically terminated, in addition to the provisions of the Full-Time Agreement, if she fails to make herself available for work for a period of three (3) weeks unless excused by the Employer.
TIME ADDENDUM. All of the provisions of the full-time Collective Agreement will apply to part-time employees except the following Articles:
