Transportation - General. 23.01 The Supervisor of Transportation shall provide a roster of students assigned to each bus, and a school calendar for the entire school year showing the days school is in session and days-off periods. Each driver may pick up such calendar up to thirty (30) days prior to the beginning of the school year, and one (1) such calendar will be posted in the drivers’ room at all times. 23.02 A seniority list of drivers shall be kept up-to-date and shall be posted in drivers’ room at all times. 23.03 The position of On Bus Instructor will provide training to regular and substitute bus drivers for the district, working with and under the direction of the Transportation Supervisor. This position includes regularly operating as a bus driver during which duties the OBI will receive his/her bus driver rate. During those hours assigned by the Transportation Supervisor for OBI duties, including any mandatory training, the individual will receive his/her bus driver rate plus a $1 per hour adder. 23.04 The Transportation Supervisor or designee shall submit to the Treasurer’s office the name of the driver and number of days substitute has driven and the name of the driver for whom he/she has substituted during each pay period. 23.05 It is a driver’s responsibility to turn in his/her pay sheets as required to the Transportation Supervisor or designee. Any driver failing to do so will not receive a pay for that pay period. Drivers will be paid at the regular rate for all time required to prepare route maps and passenger lists at the beginning of the year (up to a 4 hour maximum). 23.06 Regular assigned drivers shall be paid according to the salary scheduled adopted by the Board. Placement shall be according to a driver’s years of experience in the school system and subject to experience credit. 23.07 Copies of driver handbooks will be available to all regular bus drivers, monitors and other employees whose job requires a CDL by request at the bus garage.
Transportation - General. ‌ 1. A bid session will be held the week prior to the opening of school, for drivers to bid on transportation runs for the coming school year.‌ a. One (1) week prior to the bid session, bus drivers will be able to review “Core Run” information including all vocational runs and additional runs that are available.‌ b. All bus drivers are expected to attend the August bid session. If a driver is absent, the Transportation Director will assign a run to the driver based upon the driver’s seniority.‌ c. If a new vocational run or additional runs become available they will be added to a driver’s schedule based upon seniority.‌ d. After five (5) weeks into the school year, if a run is decreased by thirty (30) minutes or more, drivers will be able to bump for a vocational run or additional run that fits into the driver’s scheduled run. If that is not possible, they may bump an entire run according to seniority.‌ e. After five (5) weeks into the school year, if a run is increased by thirty (30) minutes or more the run will be posted.‌ 2. The bus driver will be notified within twenty-four (24) hours if bus privileges were suspended as a result of the misbehavior.‌ 7. If a vocational or additional run has to be covered, the driver must be notified, on a seniority basis, before 9:00 a.m. except in cases of emergency.‌ 8. Bus runs for summer will be assigned by seniority to qualified bus drivers who sign up to drive during‌ Summer. 9. Transportation - General. Section 21.1 (a) Bulletins, signed by the Director of Transportation, shall be issued from time to time, and unless they are contrary to the express provisions of this Agreement, such bulletins shall constitute the rules and regulations of the Authority governing the conduct of Operators. Such bulletins will be available in all of the Authority’s Transportation Department stations, and all Operators are charged with the responsibility of learning and complying with all such bulletins.
Transportation - General. Powers and responsibilities relating to transportation in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip will be transferred from the Israeli military government and its Civil administration to the Palestinian side subject to the following: 1. This sphere includes, inter alia, the licensing and supervision of drivers and vehicles, freight transportation, public transportation, traffic supervision, setting appropriate standards for transportation, meteorology, and others. 2. High and appropriate transportation safety standards and environmental quality shall serve as the basis for cooperation and agreement in this sphere. 3. The Palestinian side in this sphere shall follow international standards such as the European Standard, as applied in the area. The arrangements regarding the transfer of powers and responsibilities concerning maritime activity and aviation are dealt with according to the provisions of this Agreement. Instruction, training and licensing in all fields relating to transportation, including drivers’ testing, training and licensing will be conducted at a minimum, in accordance with existing standards. 6. The Palestinian side shall issue drivers’ and vehicle licenses as well as license plates according to the format and standards currently in use and as set out in Schedule 7 to be attached to this Appendix as agreed upon between the sides. 7. To facilitate the entry of vehicles registered by the Palestinian side into Israel, the Palestinian side will periodically forward to the Israeli side through the CAC, updated information regarding drivers and vehicles registered by it. Transportation - General. 20 Recognizing that personnel in the Transportation classification present special shift problems, the 21 parties agree that shifts shall be established in the Transportation classification in relation to routes and 22 driving times requisite to fulfilling tasks as assigned by the Supervisor of Transportation.

  • Transportation Management Tenant shall fully comply with all present or future programs intended to manage parking, transportation or traffic in and around the Building, and in connection therewith, Tenant shall take responsible action for the transportation planning and management of all employees located at the Premises by working directly with Landlord, any governmental transportation management organization or any other transportation-related committees or entities.

  • Transportation Transportation expenses include, but are not limited to, airplane, train, bus, taxi fares, rental cars, parking, mileage reimbursement, and tolls that are reasonably and necessarily incurred as a result of conducting State business. Each State agency shall determine the necessity for travel, and the mode of travel to be reimbursed.

  • Transportation Reimbursement Employees who, during the course of their normal duties, are required to actually transport clients/consumers/felons in their own personal vehicle on a regular basis, are eligible for reimbursement for the cost of an automobile rider to their existing insurance policy. To be eligible for the reimbursement, the employee must demonstrate the following: 1. That he/she is normally required to transport clients/consumers/felons in the course of their duties. 2. That there is no access to or available State vehicles. 3. That public transportation cannot be used. 4. That their insurance company requires a special rider on their existing automobile policy. 5. Proof that such a rider has been purchased. 6. Proof of a valid driver’s license and insurance policy. By receiving such reimbursement, employees acknowledge that they may be required to use their own personal vehicle to transport clients/consumers/felons in the normal course of their duties. The reimbursement to such employee(s) is the actual cost of the rider not to exceed seventy-five dollars ($75) per year whichever is less. This reimbursement will be paid on a yearly basis in the pay period that includes July 1st. Employees who either resign, retire, or have their employment terminated during the year and employees who start during any part of the year will have the reimbursement prorated. In the case of employees who either retire, resign, or have their employment terminated will have that portion of the reimbursement repaid to the State, in the last paycheck.

  • Transportation Services i) In the event that transportation services for a student served by CONTRACTOR pursuant to an Individual Services Agreement are to be provided by a party other than CONTRACTOR or the LEA or its transportation providers, such services shall be reflected in a separate agreement signed by the parties hereto, and provided to the LEA and SELPA Director by the CONTRACTOR.   • OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY 34.01 The parties recognize the need for a safe and healthy workplace. The Employer shall be responsible for providing safe and healthy working conditions. The Employer and Employees will take all reasonable steps to eliminate, reduce or minimize all workplace safety hazards. Occupational health and safety education, training and instruction provided by the Employer, shall be paid at the Basic Rate of Pay, to fulfill the requirements for training, instruction or education set out in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, Regulation or Code. (a) There shall be an Occupational Health and Safety Committee (Committee), which shall be composed of representatives of the Employer and representatives of the Local and may include others representing recognized functional bargaining units. This Committee shall meet once a month, and in addition shall meet within 10 days of receiving a written complaint regarding occupational health or safety. An Employee shall be paid the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay for attendance at Committee meetings. A request to establish separate committees for each site or grouping of sites shall not be unreasonably denied. The Employer shall provide training at no cost to all Employees on the Committee to assist them in performing their duties on the Committee. Training shall be paid at the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay. (b) Minutes of each meeting shall be taken and shall be approved by the Employer, the Local, and other bargaining groups, referred to in (a), prior to circulation. (c) The purpose of the Committee is to consider such matters as occupational health and safety and the Local may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. (d) If an issue arises regarding occupational health or safety, the Employee or the Local shall first seek to resolve the issue through discussion with the applicable immediate supervisor in an excluded management position. If the issue is not resolved satisfactorily, it may then be forwarded in writing to the Committee. (e) The Committee shall also consider measures necessary to ensure the security of each Employee on the Employer’s premises and the Local may make recommendations to the Employer in that regard. (f) (i) Should an issue not be resolved by the Committee, the issue shall be referred to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). A resolution meeting between the Local and the CEO, or designate(s), shall take place within 21 calendar days of the issue being referred to the CEO. The CEO or designate(s) shall reply in writing to the Local within seven (7) calendar days of the resolution meeting.

  • TRANSPORT SERVICES Upon the conclusion of such multilateral negotiations, the Parties shall conduct a review for the purpose of discussing appropriate amendments to this Agreement so as to incorporate the results of such multilateral negotiations.

  • Electrical appliance safety The Hirer shall ensure that any electrical appliances brought by them to the premises and used there shall be safe, in good working order, and used in a safe manner in accordance with the Electricity at Work Regulations 1989. Where a residual circuit breaker is provided the hirer must make use of it in the interests of public safety.
