Union Convention Leave. The District agrees to release one (1) employee from each bargaining unit with loss of pay to attend an annual Union convention.
Union Convention Leave. The District shall grant convention attendance leave with pay, but without expenses, for up to five (5) working days per year for a maximum of five (5) employees for the purpose of attending a Union authorized convention, provided that no more than one (1) employee is absent from any office or operational unit for such purpose at one time.
Union Convention Leave. Employees will be granted a leave of absence without pay in order to attend Union Conventions or conferences subject to the following limitations:
Union Convention Leave. 17.1 The City shall allow one (1) union member five (5) days leave of absence with pay, to attend the A.F.S.C.M.E. International Convention once every two years.

Time off without pay shall be granted to an elected or appointed representative of the Union to attend conventions or bodies to which the Union is affiliated, and for such other purposes as may be mutually agreed provided that no more than one (1) employee at a time exercises such leave and provided that the Employer is able, when necessary, to obtain a relief employee to offset the regular employee's absence.

Leave of absence with pay, with accumulation of seniority, for attendance at union conventions will be granted to not more than three (3) employees at a time for a period not to exceed a total of thirty-five (35) days in any one year provided that such leave request is made in writing to the Manager, Labour Relations and requested three (3) weeks in advance.
Union Convention Leave. Up to 150 person-days per year without loss of pay for teachers and paraprofessionals will be provided for attending union conventions and conferences scheduled on teacher work days. Names of individuals to attend will be submitted to the Personnel Department ten (10) school days in advance of the leave. The BTU Health and Welfare Fund will reimburse the Department for its actual cost of substitutes filling in for persons on leave to attend a health and welfare-related conference or convention.
Union Convention Leave. The Town agrees to provide time off without loss of pay or benefits for authorized delegates duly elected to represent Local 1637 at the Associated Firefighters of Massachusetts AFL-CIO Convention and the IAFF AFL-CIO Convention. This section shall allow up to two (2) members of the Department to be absent for the duration of the Massachusetts and International conventions.
Union Convention Leave. 29:01 The Employer will grant an employee elected or appointed as a representative of the Union a leave of absence without pay to attend conventions of organizations to which the Union is affiliated, or for such other purposes as may be mutually agreed upon in writing by the Employer and the Union.
