UNION DUES AND FEES. (a) The City will take payroll deductions from bargaining unit employees for any International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 1245 (“Union”) dues or fees authorized by the employee.

UNION DUES AND FEES. 5.2.1 The University will make deductions each pay period from the pay of employees for regular Union dues, representation fees and initiation fees, as identified by the Union; provided the Union provides to the University a written authorization from the employee for such deductions. The Union will notify the University at least thirty (30) days in advance of any changes in its fees.
5.2.2 The University will remit a payment for all representation fees to the Union at the Union’s Official Headquarters at the end of each pay period. Accompanying the remittance will be a listing of the names, unique employee identification numbers, membership status, total wages for the time period, and the amount remitted for all employees from whom deductions were made.

UNION DUES AND FEES. SECTION 1. AUTHORIZATION CARD AVAILABILITY. Union authorization cards shall be made available to new employees by the Union as part of the hiring-in process, with a form of notification to new employees of immediate requirements having to do with Union membership pursuant to this collective bargaining agreement. The Union authorization cards, when signed, are to be promptly delivered to the Police Officers Labor Council.

The Employer shall deduct Union dues and initiation fees from the earned wages of employees in an amount determined by the Union, provided that no such deduction shall be made from any employee's wages except when authorized by the employee on an appropriate form, a copy of which must be submitted to the Town.
B. It shall be a condition of employment that on or after July 1, 1989 or the thirtieth (30th) day following employment, whichever is later, each employee covered in this Agreement shall pay to the Union an Agency Service Fee which shall be proportionately commensurate with the cost of Collective Bargaining and contract administration. The Agency Fee for the duration of this Agreement shall be paid monthly and equal the Union dues and deducted as set out above.
C. The Union will indemnify, defend and hold the Town harmless against any claims made and against any suits instituted against the Town on account of payroll deduction of the Union dues, initiation fees or the Agency Service Fee. The Union agrees to refund to the Town any amounts paid to it in error on account of the payroll deduction provision upon presentation of proper evidence thereof.
UNION DUES AND FEES. A. Employees may sign and deliver to the Board an assignment authorizing deduction of membership dues and assessments of the Association (including the Michigan and National Education Associations).
B. 1. Each bargaining unit member shall, as a condition of employment, on or before thirty-one (31) days from the date of commencement of duties or the effective date of this Agreement, whichever is later, join the Association, or pay a service fee to the Association equivalent to the amount of dues uniformly required of the members of the Association, less any amounts not permitted by law. The bargaining unit member may authorize payroll deduction for such fee. In the event the bargaining unit member shall not pay such service fee directly to the Association or authorize payment through payroll deduction, the employer shall, pursuant to MCLA 408.477; MSA 17.277 and at the request of the Association, deduct the service fee from the bargaining unit member's wages and remit same to the Association under the procedure provided below. Payroll deductions made pursuant to this provision shall be made in equal amounts as nearly as may be from the paychecks of each bargaining unit member. Monies so deducted shall be remitted to the Association, or its designee, no later than twenty (20) days following deduction.
UNION DUES AND FEES. The EMPLOYER agrees to deduct the UNION membership initiation fee and bi-weekly dues from the pay of those employees who individually request in writing that such deduction be made. The amounts to be deducted shall be certified to the EMPLOYER by a representative of the UNION, and the aggregate deductions of all employees shall be remitted to the representative by the first of the succeeding month, after such deductions are made.
