Use of Company Vehicles. The Company may provide limited private use of a Company vehicle to Employee/s by mutual agreement, in accordance with the Company vehicle policy contained in this Agreement.
Use of Company Vehicles. The round trip to residence headquarters must be made within the scheduled non-working period. It must be made in a Company vehicle whenever the services of a suitable vehicle are available. When a suitable Company vehicle is available, employees who do not avail themselves of these facilities will not be reimbursed for transportation expenses. Those who remain at the temporary work headquarters will be treated as if they were at residence headquarters. When transportation by Company vehicle is not provided, the equivalent of public transportation costs or the standard kilometre allowance, whichever is lesser, will be authorized by his/her supervisor for an employee who chooses to use his/her own car instead of public transportation for himself/herself alone or for carrying other employees as passengers.
Use of Company Vehicles. During the Employment Term, Xxxxx shall be permitted to use Chugach vehicles on company business on a de minimus basis. Xxxxx shall not be entitled to a company vehicle for personal use.
Use of Company Vehicles.
35.01 Employees may be authorized, by agreement, to regularly take a Company vehicle home at the end of a tour, subject to the following conditions:
(a) Neither the Company nor an employee will be required to enter into an agreement that authorizes an employee to take a Company vehicle home on a regular basis.
(b) Authorization, for an employee to take a Company vehicle home on a regular basis, must be in the form of a standard written agreement between the employee and their manager. This standard agreement will be available on the Corporate intranet site. A copy of the signed agreement will be forwarded to the appropriate Member Local.
(c) The vehicle will be used for Company purposes only. The Company accepts full responsibility for damages to the vehicle and equipment provided normal safeguards have been taken and the vehicle and equipment is used for Company purposes only.
(d) Either the employee or the manager may terminate the agreement on thirty (30) days written notice. The written notice will include the reason(s) for termination of the agreement. No agreement will be terminated by the Company except for legitimate business reasons.
(e) Employees who are authorized to take a Company vehicle home will be expected to pick up their daily work load in order that they may depart for their first assignment of the day no later than the scheduled beginning of their tour. Employees will not finish work to return home and arrive there any sooner than they would if they were departing from their Reporting Centre.
(f) Employees are expected to leave their vehicles at their assigned Reporting Centre as required by their manager for days on which the employee is not scheduled to work, such as days of rest, vacations and holidays. The travel arrangements to meet this requirement will be the responsibility of the employee.
(g) The Company will ensure that employees are informed of any tax implications which may result before employees sign the standard agreement referred to under this Article. These tax implications will be summarized in the standard written agreement.
Use of Company Vehicles. The Company agrees to maintain adequate liability insurance on all vehicles owned or leased by the Company when it requests an employee to drive such vehicle.
(a) The Union agrees that the Company may purchase and review driver abstracts for those employees who are required to drive Company vehicles as part of their job.
(b) Employees who drive Company vehicles shall report all incidents of suspended licenses to the Company.
(c) The Company may require employees who drive Company vehicles to participate in driver training provided it pays for such training which shall be scheduled on working time.
(d) Employees must exhibit a valid driver’s license annually.
(e) Where the requirement to drive a Company vehicle is a condition of employment the Company reserves the right to assign an employee other duties where the employee has been unable to maintain a valid license.
(f) The Company reserves the right pursuant to Article 3 to exercise its rights to discipline an employee where it has just cause to do so.
(g) Non-employees other than those covered by Company insurance may not ride in Company vehicles without prior written approval.
(h) When requested by the Company to provide transportation for specific individuals for Company purposes Corporate Insurance coverage will apply.
Use of Company Vehicles. Any use of Company vehicles by Consultant shall be in accordance with the Company’s Vehicle Safety & Usage Policy dated 8/15/2005, as amended.
Use of Company Vehicles. Field Supervisors with assigned vehicles shall be permitted to take company vehicles home, but such vehicles are to be used for company business only. Vehicles will be assigned by the Executive Director.
Use of Company Vehicles. The primary use of the company vehicle is for work purposes. Vehicles within an employee’s control must be kept in a safe, reasonably clean and tidy state at all times. When vehicles are taken home and then driven directly to and from the job site, drivers are not to use vehicles for extended visits to shopping centres, hotels or any other places. The use of the company vehicle at the end of the shift shall be by prior agreement with the company.
Use of Company Vehicles. Employees required to use a company vehicle must at all times drive responsibly and in accordance with company policy. Further the limitations of private use of company vehicles must be strictly adhered to in accordance with company policy, with appropriate disciplinary action taken for staff acting in contravention of this policy. Employees required to use company mobile phones will do so in accordance with company policy. Further the limitations of private use of mobile phones must be strictly adhered to in accordance with company policy, otherwise disciplinary action may be taken.
Use of Company Vehicles. (a) Where a vehicle is supplied to the employee, the usage of the vehicle is restricted to work related activities, and may only be operated by a licensed driver.
(b) The vehicle may be used for transport to and from home and from the place of work as after hour callouts may be required.
(c) Where a vehicle is taken home it must be parked on the employee's property away from the street, where possible.
(d) Both the inside and outside of the vehicle is to be kept clean and tidy.
