Use of Time Sample Clauses

Use of TimeThe Superintendent agrees to devote full time to the assigned duties, provided that with the advance agreement of the Board of Education, the Superintendent may undertake consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing or other professional duties.
Use of Time. 6.8.1 The Leadership Team at each school will monitor the use of time and workload with attention to: a. System priorities b. School priorities 6.8.2 Professional Council will: a. Annually review system priorities b. Regularly evaluate staff workload c. Work with sites to adjust expectations for additional responsibilities based on those evaluations.
Use of Time. The Superintendent shall faithfully perform the duties of the Superintendent of Schools in and for the District as prescribed by the laws of the State of Nebraska and by the rules and regulations promulgated by the Board thereunder. The Superintendent agrees to devote the Superintendent’s full time, skill, labor and attention to the performance of the duties of the Superintendent of Schools throughout the term of this contract; provided, however, the Superintendent, by consent of the Board, may undertake consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing, or other professional duties and obligations so long as such other work is not inconsistent with the Superintendent’s duties and obligations to the Board. Regular, dependable attendance is an essential function of the Superintendent’s duties. Vacation leave must be used by the Superintendent for any days used for the activities described above, except for weekends and holidays, unless prior consent is given by the Board.
Use of TimeEmployees may use personal holiday and vacation time during a personal or internship leave of absence. The remainder of the leave shall be without pay.

Use of TimeWhere the parties establish a joint labor-management committee (forum) under this article, union representatives will be on official time. This official time will not be counted against any allocated official time as described in this agreement. In instances where sub-committees are established by this joint labor‑management committee, and the parties have determined that Subject Matter Experts (SME) and/or union representatives are required, the Union will notify the Department of the appointment of a person to participate in sub-committee activities under this article and whether that person is participating as a SME for which duty time would be appropriate or as a union representative for which official time would be appropriate. If designated as a union representative, that time will not be counted against any allocated official time as described in this agreement. To the extent possible, activities will be conducted during the normal duty hours of the participants. Committee members will be compensated in accordance with applicable law. Once an individual has been designated by the Union to participate in cooperative labor-management activities, that person will be made available for such participation.

Use of Time. Executive shall use his sole discretion in deciding the date, frequency, and length of time required for his personal use. Executive shall continue to receive his full benefits and compensation during this time.
