Vacation Leave and Personal Leave Days. 20.1: All full-time personnel (except new hires) shall accumulate vacation leave days as follows: All full-time employees hired after December 1, 1994, shall not be eligible for fringe benefits, including paid leave time, until they have ninety (90) calendar days of continuous service. On the ninety-first (91st) day of continuous service, the employee shall begin to earn credits for paid sick leave, vacation, and personal leave. During the interim period, the employee shall receive time off without pay due to legitimate absences, provided the employee follows the Police Department’s standard call-in procedure. 0 through 5 years earns 96 hrs 6 through 10 years earns 120 hrs 11 through 15 years earns 144 hrs 16 through 20 years earns 168 hrs 21 through 25 years earns 192 hrs 26 years or more earns 192 hours, plus an additional 4 hours per year for each year of continuous service over 25 years. 20.1.1: All part-time employees will earn six (6) hours of vacation for any month they actually work sixty (60) hours. Paid time off shall not be considered time worked. Vacation time by part-time employees may be used after six (6) months of continuous service. Part-time employees can elect to have their accumulated vacation hours paid to them along with compensatory time at the end of the approved time frame consistent with the provision allowing for payout of compensatory time (17.3D). Part-time employees must provide a written request to the Department of Financial Services at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the scheduled end of the time frame as outlined in 17.3D in order to elect this payout provision.

Vacation Leave and Personal Leave Days. In each school year of the 240 contracted days, the Superintendent shall be granted paid vacation days in accordance with the School Corporation’s Administrative Staff Benefits Summary (“Statement of Benefits”). The number of paid vacation days granted to the Superintendent via the Statement of Benefits shall never during the first ten years of employment with the School Corporation be lower than 10 days per year, but may be greater than 10 days per year if approved by the Board through the Statement of Benefits. After the first ten years of employment with the School Corporation, the number of paid vacation days granted to the Superintendent via the Statement of Benefits shall never be lower than 15 days per year, but may be greater than 15 days per year if approved by the Board through the Statement of Benefits. In each school year of the 240 contracted days, the Superintendent shall be granted paid personal leave days in accordance with the Statement of Benefits. The number of paid personal leave days granted to the Superintendent via the Statement of Benefits shall never be lower than 3 days per year, but may be greater than 3 days per year if approved by the Board through the Statement of Benefits.
Vacation Leave and Personal Leave Days. For the 2024-2025 school year only, the Superintendent will be granted 20 paid vacation days each school year. Unused vacation days may accumulate up to a maximum aggregate cap of 30 days. Any days exceeding the cap set forth herein are forfeited. If the Superintendent wants to use more than 10 consecutive vacation days, then he must have prior Board approval. The Superintendent shall be granted 3 paid personal days each school year. Unused personal days may accumulate up to a maximum aggregate cap of 6 days. Any unused personal days above the cap are forfeited. If the Superintendent wants to use more than 2 consecutive personal days, then he must have prior Board approval.
Vacation Leave and Personal Leave Days. In each school year of the 260 contracted days, the Superintendent shall be granted paid vacation and personal leave days in accordance with the School Corporation's Statement of Benefits for Administrators ("Statement of Benefits"). The number of combined paid vacation and personal leave days granted to the Superintendent via the Statement of Benefits shall never collectively be lower than 29 days per year, but may be greater than 29 days per year.

  • Personal Leave Days Section 1. All employees after completion of six (6) months of service shall be entitled to receive personal leave days in the following manner: (A) All full time employees shall be entitled to twenty-four (24) hours of personal leave with pay each fiscal year; (B) Part-time, seasonal, and job share employees shall be granted such leave in a prorated amount of twenty-four (24) hours based on the same percentage or fraction of month they are hired to work, or as subsequently formally modified, provided it is anticipated that they will work 1,040 hours during the fiscal year; Section 2.   • Sick and Personal Leave The Assistant Principal shall annually be entitled to twelve (12) days of sick leave and two (2) days of personal leave. Unused personal leave days will accumulate as sick leave days. Earned sick leave may accumulate to a maximum of 340 days. Every sick day that is issued for the current school year and eventually not utilized during that school year will be multiplied by 1.5 at the end of the school year (e.g., 10 unused sick days on June 30, 2022 will be converted in a credit of 15 sick days for the Assistant Principal’s use.)   • Unpaid Personal Leave Where an employee has exhausted all paid personal leave entitlements, they are entitled to take unpaid personal leave to care for members of their immediate family or household who are sick and require care and support or who require care due to an unexpected emergency. The employer and the employee shall agree on the period. In the absence of agreement, the employee is entitled to take up to two days (up to a maximum of 16 hours) of unpaid leave per occasion, provided the requirements of 7.2.5(a) and 7.2.5(b) are met.
