Wage Compensation. Any regular full time employee who is required to report for Jury Selection, Jury Duty, Coroner’s Inquest or who is subpoenaed to serve as a witness in a court action, save and except actions involving the Company or Trade Unions, unless subpoenaed by the Crown, on a day when he/she would normally have worked, will be reimbursed by the Company for the difference between the pay received in such duty and his regular straight time hourly rate of pay for his regularly scheduled hours of work necessarily lost. It is understood that employees will be reimbursed by the Company for the difference between the pay received for such duty and his straight time rate of pay for his regularly scheduled hours of work in that week. The employee will be required to furnish proof of performing such service and such duty pay received.

Increases in salary, if any, shall be made at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of CEL-SCI. Nothing in this paragraph 2.1 shall be construed to limit CEL-SCI's right to terminate this AGREEMENT in accordance with the terms hereof.

Wage Compensation. (a) There shall be a minimum and maximum wage compensation established for each job classification.
(b) A new employee, as well as a continuing employee newly assigned to a different job classification, shall have his/her starting wage compensation established based on such employee’s education, training, prior work experience, and other relevant factors. The starting wage compensation shall be within the range for the job classification. The restriction of the immediately preceding sentence need not apply in the event of a transfer for the Department’s benefit.
(c) The minimum and maximum of each job classification wage compensation range shall be increased by the percentage of the agreed upon pay increase.
Wage Compensation. 2.1 Until August 31, 2011 Employee will be compensated as he currently is at an annual salary of $464,004.45, less applicable withholding taxes. Employee will receive at least the same salary increases per year as do other senior executives of CEL-SCI. Increases beyond those, if any, shall be made at the sole discretion of the Board of Directors of CEL-SCI. Nothing in this section 2.1 shall be construed to limit CEL-SCI's right to terminate this AGREEMENT in accordance with the terms hereof.

Any regular full-time employee who is required to perform Jury Duty, or who is subpoenaed to serve as a witness in a Court action or Coroner’s Inquest, save and except actions involving the Company or Trade Unions, unless subpoenaed by the Crown, on a day on which he would normally have worked, will be reimbursed by the Company for the difference between the pay received for such duty and his regular straight time hourly rate of pay for his regularly scheduled hours of work. It is understood that such reimbursement shall not be for hours in excess of eight hours per day or forty hours per week, less pay received for such duty. The employee will be required to furnish proof of performing such service and such duty pay received. Holidays and Overtime Hours paid for such duty will be counted as hours worked for the purpose of qualifying for vacations and for paid holidays, but will not be counted as hours worked for the purpose of computing overtime.
Wage Compensation.
(a) Any employee who has completed six (6) months of continuous service with the Village shall be eligible for a merit pay step increase. The date of eligibility and effective dates for any merit increase shall be dependent upon the starting date of regular full time employment, hereinafter referred to as ”anniversary date.” At the completion of one (1) year of continuous service with the Village and upon each successive date thereafter, the employee is eligible for an additional merit pay step increase in accordance with the base salary schedule as set forth in Appendix A for Communications Personnel, Appendix B for Records Clerks, Appendix C for CSOs and Appendix D for Property Evidence Officer, which said amounts shall be increased by 3.50% retroactive to May 1, 2023 for all employees in the unit on date of execution of this Agreement, and 3.5% as of May 1, 2024. New hires shall be placed at the appropriate step of the applicable wage appendix, not to exceed Step 5, based upon the Village’s assessment of their experience and qualifications.
(b) Regular part-time Telecommunicators over twenty (20) hours per week shall be eligible for wage compensation based upon an hourly rate.
(c) The granting or the failure to grant merit pay and/or the amount of said grant or merit pay shall be based upon job performance and shall be at the sole discretion of the Village.
(d) An employee may, upon the recommendation of the Chief of Police and with the approval of the Personnel Director, receive a merit step increase or a portion thereof before an anniversary date if it is determined that the employee is performing at a rate higher than normal for the employee’s current pay schedule.
(e) In the event it is determined by the Personnel Director that an employee is performing at an unsatisfactory level based upon performance evaluations, the employee’s pay may be frozen or lowered up to one (1) step within the pay schedule every six (6) months. In the event an employee’s pay rate is frozen or base salary adjustment withheld, the employee’s job performance shall be re- evaluated in six (6) months.
