Wages and Fringes a. In all states set out in A.1. above the total package for addendum work shall be 80% of the full mainline total package (wage rate and fringe benefit rates; per diem not included) as shown in Schedule “A”. Applicable fringes deducted to determine base rate.
b. In all states set out in A.2. above, deduct $3.00 from full base rate. Full mainline fringes apply.

20.2 - College Credits:
A. 1. The City will pay tuition up to $1,200 per calendar year for successful completion of course work in an undergraduate or graduate course which is directly related to the employee’s position. To be eligible for reimbursement, the employee must receive approval from the City Manager on a standard form prepared by the City prior to enrolling in the course. Course work must be through an accredited Michigan institution of higher education and does not include “short courses” or “seminars” or work beyond the Masters’ degree level. Reimbursement shall not apply to an employee who already has a Masters’ degree in any field. “Directly related” also means a management or public administration course which is part of a degree program in police science or criminal justice and which the City Manager deems to be of direct benefit to the City.
Wages and Fringes. Section 1. The minimum rate of wages for journeymen sheet metal workers covered by this Agreement when employed in a shop or on a job within the jurisdiction as outlined by this Agreement to perform any work specified in Article I of this Agreement shall be as per Addendum I, except as hereinafter specified in Section 2 of this Article.
Section 2. On all work specified in Article I of this Agreement, fabricated and/or assembled by journeymen sheet metal workers, apprentices and/or preapprentices within the jurisdiction, as outlined in this agreement or contract area, for erection and/or installation within the jurisdiction of any other Local Union, or contract area, affiliated with the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers whose established wage scale is higher than the wage scale specified in this Agreement, the higher wage scale of the job site Union shall be paid to the journeymen employed on such work in the home shop or sent to the job site.
Section 3. The provisions of Section 2 of this Article, Section 2 of Article II and Section 1 of Article III shall not be applicable to the manufacture for sale to the trade or purchase of the following items:
1. Ventilators
2. Louvers
3. Automatic and fire dampers
4. Radiator and air conditioning unit enclosures
5. Fabricated pipe and fittings for residential installations and light commercial work as defined in the locality
6. Mixing (attenuation) boxes
7. Plastic skylights
8. Air diffusers, grilles, registers
9. Sound attenuators
10. Chutes
11. Double-wall panel plenums
Wages and Fringes. Section 5.01 The straight time hourly rate of pay or wage scale for Journeyman Carpenters employed by the Employer covered hereunder on jobs in the areas, as indicated, shall be as follows:
Wages and Fringes. The wages of Apprentices shall be based on percentages of Journeyman scale, plus full (non-reduced) fringe benefits and other contributions and deductions, except Local Dues as noted on the applicable fringe form. The Apprentice rate of pay for Bricklayers ONLY shall be the following percentages of Journeyman scale.
1. 0 hours = 60% of scale 5. 3000 hours = 80% of scale 2. 750 hours = 65% of scale 6. 3750 hours = 85% of scale 3. 1500 hours = 70% of scale 7. 4500 hours = 90% of scale 4. 2250 hours = 75% of scale 8. 5250 hours = 95% of scale The three (3) year – 4,500 program will continue to apply to the other crafts covered by the agreement until further notice. The Apprentice rate of pay for the other masonry crafts will be as follows:
