WORK CLOTHING AND TOOLS. 18.1 The City will provide pullover rubber boots for Powerline Technicians to be worn during inclement weather. Replacement boots will not be provided unless the worn or damaged boots are turned in. 18.2 Water Department employees shall be provided rubber boots. 18.3 Employees will be provided twelve (12) t-shirts per year. 18.4 Effective fiscal year 2022-23, the City will provide Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per year for a “boot allowance” for those employees required to wear “safety” or “steel toed” boots. However, it is understood that employees required to wear safety shoes/boots will wear safety shoes/boots which comply with City policy at all times while on duty.

WORK CLOTHING AND TOOLS. 34.01 Every two fiscal years, the Employer agrees to provide at no cost to the employee, work boots, summer and winter coveralls with individual employees employed in following positions: Airport. Building and Facility Maintainers; Mechanic, Apprentice Mechanic, Heavy Equipment and Waste Vehicle Operators; Maintenance Supervisor, Water Services Clerk and water/sewage crews. 34.02 Every two fiscal years, the Employer agrees to provide at no cost to the by-law officer(s) and the Community Constable(s) Hamlet clothing – one winter coat, one pair of winter boots, 2 pairs of winter pants and 2 pairs of summer pants. 34.03 All Employees are required to wear appropriate work clothing and safety footwear. Employees who report for work without the appropriate work clothing and safety footwear will not be permitted to work until they have the appropriate clothing and safety footwear. 34.04 The employer agrees to provide a tool allowance for tradespeople certified under the Trade and Occupations Certification Act and currently employed in such an occupation for the Hamlet. There shall be an initial allowance of $1,300, and a monthly allowance of $100 for the purchase of work related tools. 34.04 shall read: The employer agrees to provide a tool allowance for tradespeople certified under the Trade and Occupations Certification Act and currently employed in such an occupation for the Hamlet. There shall be an initial allowance upon hire of $1,500, and an annual allowance of $1,500 for the purchase of work related tools. This annual allowance shall be paid once each fiscal year, upon written request by the employee.
WORK CLOTHING AND TOOLS. Except as provided below, effective July 1, 2012, the following working clothing and tools provisions shall apply: A. Except as provided below, all employees covered by this Agreement in Locals 2462 and 2735 will be provided work clothing on a rental basis according to departmental policy. B. All employees covered by this Agreement who are required by the County to wear safety shoes and who present appropriate proof of purchase for approved safety shoes shall be entitled to reimbursement of two hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) per year, which shall be paid during the first full pay period beginning on or after July 1 of each year of this Agreement. At the option of the Department Director, an allowance may be paid instead of a reimbursement. C. Employees covered by this Agreement who work as Mechanics in the Office of Central Services, the Department of the Environment and the Department of Public Works and Transportation are required to furnish and maintain their own mechanic's tools in a serviceable condition. To assist in defraying the expenses associated with this obligation, these employees will be provided with a tool allowance of eight hundred dollars ($800.00) per year in a check during the second full pay period in July. D. Employees of the Office of Central Services, Fleet Management, whose work responsibilities require performing duties outside the garage facility will be provided individual waterproof and insulated jackets, fitted to manufacturers standard sizes.
WORK CLOTHING AND TOOLS. Section 1: When employees are required by the Company to wear standard Company coveralls, uniforms, or specialized work clothing, such clothing shall be furnished by the Company, to include work boots. Uniform items provided will only be worn when working for the Company at NSA Panama City Beach. Each employee will receive a minimum of five shirts or five smocks each year. Section 2: If the Company furnishes uniform items made of "wash and wear" materials, to be routinely washed and dried with other personal garments and do not require any special treatment, such as dry cleaning, daily washing or commercial laundering, there is no requirement to pay maintenance costs. If commercial laundering or dry cleaning is necessary in order to meet the standards set by the Company, the employee will receive twenty-five cents ($0.25) per hour worked but not more than ten ($10.00) per week to defray the cost of meeting the uniform requirements. Section 3: All hand tools required by custodians assigned to perform floor work will be supplied by the Company. Section 4: The Company will provide safety toe shoes/boots for all employees through reimbursement. When an employee's shoes/boots require replacement, the employee will get authorization from the Project Manager for replacement to purchase a replacement pair and be reimbursed up to $100.00 annually from the last incidence of reimbursement.
WORK CLOTHING AND TOOLS. 18.1 Employees shall be required to wear work clothing that is reasonably suitable and safe for the type of work they are assigned. Lettering of any description other than Union insignia, standard ASRCC or its subcontractor company insignia, or non-offensive jargon/political/advertising slogans as prescribed by the Company, shall not be permitted on any work clothing. 18.2 Where employees are required by the Company to wear standard company coveralls or specialized work clothing, such clothing shall be furnished and laundered by the Company. Where it is a requirement of the job, the Company will reimburse the employee up to a total of $150.00 for one (1) pair of protective footwear that complies with OSHA standard 1910.136(b) (1) requirements every 365 days from date of last purchase. Employees may utilize a XXXXX sponsored vendor to obtain safety shoes to avoid incurring a personal expense in purchasing the protective footwear. If an employee purchases safety shoes from a non-XXXXX sponsored vendor, he must submit an XXXXX Safety Shoe Authorization Form, valid receipt, written documentation that the shoes meet OSHA standard 1910.136(b)(1), and an XXXXX Expense Report with appropriate signatures from his Supervisor, Department Manager, and Director of Program & Business Management Office in order to be reimbursed. 18.3 Tools shall be furnished as needed by the Company.

  • CLOTHING AND EQUIPMENT (a) Employees required by the Employer to wear uniforms will be supplied with an adequate number of uniforms appropriate to the occupation free of cost to Employees. Such items are to remain the property of the Employer and be laundered and maintained by such Employer free of cost to the Employee. (b) Instead of the provision of such uniforms, the Employer may, by agreement with the Employee, pay such Employee a uniform allowance at the rate set out in Item 1 of Table 5. This rate is expressed as per shift or part thereof, or as a weekly rate – an Employee is to be paid whichever is the lesser amount. (c) Where an Employee’s uniforms are not laundered by or at the expense of the Employer, the Employee will be paid a laundry allowance. For Aged Care, Health Professionals and Home Care Employees this will be paid at the rate set out in Item 2 of Table 5. This allowance is also expressed as a payment per shift of part thereof of as a weekly payment – an Employee is to be paid whichever is the lesser amount. For Nursing Employees this will be paid at the rate set out in Item 3 of Table 5. (d) The uniform allowance, but not the laundry allowance, will be paid during all absences on paid leave, except absences on long service leave and absence on personal/carer’s leave beyond 21 days. Where, prior to the taking of leave, an Employee was paid a uniform allowance other than at the weekly rate, the rate to be paid during absence on leave will be the average of the allowance paid during the four weeks immediately preceding the taking of leave. (e) Where an Employer requires an Employee to wear rubber gloves, special clothing or where safety equipment is required for the work performed by an Employee, the Employer must reimburse the Employee for the cost of purchasing such special clothing or safety equipment, except where such clothing or equipment is provided by the Employer.

  • Protective Clothing and Equipment The Employer shall provide and pay for all protective devices, clothing and other equipment necessary to properly protect employees from injury and unhealthy conditions. The Employer shall make provisions for the proper cleaning and maintenance of all safety equipment, devices and clothing at no cost to the employees.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • Packing and Marking All material and equipment to be furnished by the Contractor shall be packed, crated or otherwise suitably protected to withstand shipment undamaged to the destination. Each package, crate or part shall be marked plainly with the name of the consignee, shipping destination, the Owner's order number, and such other markings as are required. Complete packing lists, one copy with each package and two (2) copies by mail to the Owner at time of shipment, shall be supplied showing contents and identity of each package.

  • Skidding and Yarding Methods of skid- ding or yarding specified for particular areas, if any, are indicated on Sale Area Map. Outside Clearcutting Units and construction clearings, insofar as ground conditions permit, products shall not be skidded against reserve trees or groups of reproduction and tractors shall be equipped with a winch to facilitate skidding.   • Felling and Bucking Felling shall be done to minimize breakage of Included Timber and dam- age to residual timber. Unless agreed otherwise, felling shall be done by saws or shears. Bucking shall be done to permit removal of all minimum pieces set forth in A2. B6.411 Felling in Clearings. Insofar as ground conditions, tree lean, and shape of clearings per- mit, trees shall be felled so that their tops do not extend outside Clearcutting Units, construction clearings, and ar- eas of regeneration cutting. B6.000 Xxxxx Xxxxxxx. Stumps shall not exceed, on the side adjacent to the highest ground, the maximum heights set forth in A6, except that occasional stumps of greater heights are acceptable when Purchaser determines that they are necessary for safe and efficient conduct of logging. Unless otherwise agreed, Purchaser shall re-cut high stumps so they will not exceed heights specified in A6 and shall dispose of severed portions in the same manner as other logging debris. The xxxxx heights shown in A6 were selected with the objective of maximum reasonable utilization of the timber, unless Sale Area Map shows special areas where xxxxx heights are lower for aesthetic, land treatment, or silvicultural rea- sons.

  • Training and Support Licensor shall offer installation support to the Licensee and each of the Members, including assisting with the implementation of any Licensor software. Licensor will provide appropriate training to Licensee and Member staff relating to the use of the Licensed Materials and any Licensor software. Licensor will offer reasonable levels of continuing support to assist Licensee and Members in use of the Licensed Materials, including providing help files and other appropriate user documentation in connection with the use of and access to Licensed Materials. Licensor will, at a minimum, make its personnel available by email, telephone or via the Web, or in person during Licensor’s regular business hours, Monday through Friday, for training and user access support.

  • Use of School Equipment The Association shall have the right to use school facilities and equipment for official Association business, including typewriters, duplicating equipment, computers and all types of audiovisual equipment at reasonable times and when such equipment is not otherwise in use, and shall provide advance notice of such use to the Superintendent of Schools. The Association shall pay for the cost of all materials and supplies.

  • Procurement of Small Works Works estimated to cost $250,000 equivalent or less per contract, up to an aggregate amount not to exceed $800,000 equivalent, may be procured under lump-sum, fixed-price contracts awarded on the basis of quotations obtained from three (3) qualified domestic contractors in response to a written invitation.
