2015-2016 School Year. 11.2.2.1 Effective July 1, 2015, the salary schedules and daily and hourly rates in Appendix B (except B11 summer school) shall be adjusted to reflect a one and one-half percent (1.5%) increase. 11.2.2.2 Effective January 1, 2016, the salary schedules and daily and hourly rates in Appendix B (except B11 summer school) shall be adjusted to reflect an additional one and one-half percent (1.5%) increase. 11.2.2.3 For Summer School, the foregoing increases shall take effect beginning with the first teacher workday of the summer session in 2016. 11.2.2.4 If total unrestricted general fund revenues for the 2015-2016 school year, as stated in the 2015-2016 Unaudited Actual Report, exceed the amount stated for the 2015-2016 school year in the multiyear projection contained in the 2014-2015 adopted budget, the parties shall meet and confer to adjust the salary agreement if both parties agree that sufficient funds are available. 2015-2016 School Year. The parties mutually agree to reopen negotiations on Article 13 (Compensation). In addition, either party may elect to reopen negotiations on Article 8 (Class Size). Except as otherwise noted, this Agreement will become effective July 1, 2013 and will remain in full force and effect through June 30, 2016. During the term of this agreement, there shall be no reopeners and the contract shall be closed. During the term of this agreement, if the state amends the constitution or law allowing the imposition of budget cuts, and the state takes action to impose such cuts, or any litigation, verdict, judgment, award or settlement results in the inability of the District to satisfy the economic requirements of this agreement, either party may reopen the contract.
2015-2016 School Year. Stipend – ECS will pay a stipend in the amount of $1,000 for full-time teachers and $500 for part-time teachers (as defined by Article 2) on the first pay of December 2015, with the exception of those teachers who have received an annual rating of Ineffective or Improvement Necessary. Base Pay Compensation Plan Contribution – Effective with the February 19, 2016 pay, ECS shall contribute $801,000 into the base pay compensation plan for those teachers paid by General Funds, with a similar percentage Budget Transparency Commitment – Should the 2015 year end General Fund cash balance exceed 4.2 million dollars, ECS will contribute a pro-rata portion of the sum exceeding 4.2 million dollars to employee HSA’s, or VEBA’s for those employees not on the ECS insurance plan, during the month of March 2016.
2015-2016 School Year. The length of building meetings, staff meetings, and elementary grade level meetings shall not exceed one hour and fifteen minutes (1 hour 15 minutes) in length. All teachers are expected to attend the building staff meeting on the first Tuesday of the month and an elementary grade level meeting on the third Tuesday of the month, unless excused by the building principal. During the elementary grade level meeting on the third Tuesday of the month, Speech Language Pathologists, Education Psychologists, and Social Workers shall meet with their respective teams when a grade level meeting agenda does not apply directly to them. There is an expectation of professionalism on the part of the staff with regard to attendance at the meetings listed above. In order to facilitate productive and appropriate meeting experiences: 1. Meetings may be cancelled if appropriate topics and/or materials are not available for discussion and/or action. 2. Meetings shall have agendas and will be distributed and/or posted in advance of the meetings. Staff are always welcome to contribute agenda items. Meetings shall be cancelled if no agenda has been distributed within three (3) days prior to the meeting. This three (3) day notice shall not apply to building meetings. 3. The Administration will make a concerted effort to conduct ancillary business via memo/email/voicemail to reduce meeting time. 4. When middle school and elementary school staff participate in 5th/6th Articulation Meetings, the thirty-minute (30) time discrepancy shall be taken as exchange time by the middle school staff. Middle school staff will collaborate with their principal to arrange when this time is to be taken.
2015-2016 School Year. If the district receives additional non-mandated, school foundation and/or local property and/or property tax allocation revenue and/or oil /gas revenue in 2015-2016 above the district’s projections of $19,040,490, fifty percent (50%) of such increase shall be made in a one-time lump sum payment, calculated on current salary up to a maximum of 2% from all sources. 2015-2016 School Year. The following shall take effect upon the commencement of the 2015-2016 school year or on the date this Agreement is ratified by both parties, whichever is later. All bargaining unit employees who were at steps Base through 9.5 in the prior year and are eligible for a wage step increase on the Wage Schedule (Appendix A) shall receive that wage step increase. Bargaining unit employees eligible for longevity steps in that school year, shall receive these steps. In addition, for the 2015-2016 school year, all bargaining unit employees who are eligible for a category (column) advancement on the Wage Schedule (Appendix A) shall receive that column advancement. In addition, the salaries set forth at Steps 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30 of the Wage Schedule (Appendix A) shall be increased by 1.00% at the commencement of the 2015-2016 school year.
