Academic Achievement. The School shall make reasonable progress towards meeting or exceeding the performance goals as described in its charter application. In accordance with SBE Regulation 43-‐601, the School shall demonstrate that student academic achievement is improving and shall provide evidence of increased student academic achievement for all students described in Section 1111(b)(2)(C)(v) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
Academic Achievement. Employees who are on a planned program previously approved by the Superintendent and who acquire fifteen (15) credits beyond a Bachelor’s Degree, a Master’s Degree, or fifteen (15) credits beyond a Master’s Degree within their specific area of discipline, shall be placed on the salary schedule in accordance with Article 8.8 and Appendix B.

Academic Achievement. Report cards are issued for students at the end of each nine-week period. Report cards for the first and third quarters are given directly to the student. Report cards for the first and second semester are mailed to the parents. The grading system used at Suring Middle/High School is outlined below. All grades awarded will be computed and recorded using the following system. HONOR ROLL REQUIREMENTS SEMESTER CALCULATION Highest Honor: 4.0 in all classes Quarter 1, 3 45% High Honors: 3.99 - 3.50 in all classes Quarter 2, 4 45% Honor Roll: 3.499 - 3.00 in all classes Semester Exam 10% Students must be enrolled in six (6) academic classes per semester in order to qualify for honors. Students in Suring High School must take seven credits per school year. A school year consists of two (2) semesters. An academic credit is any subject which meets five (5) days per week. Students have up to 2 weeks following a grading period to make up incomplete work. This may be extended in unusual circumstances with permission of the instructor & approval of administration.
Academic Achievement. Students will meet the national, tribal, and state standards in all academic subjects.
Academic Achievement. The School shall demonstrate adequate yearly gains in student performance as a condition of this Contract. The School shall target a School Performance Grade designation of “C” or better as calculated by the FDOE for each school year of the Contract term. If the School does not receive a School Performance Grade designation from the FDOE, the School’s student performance as calculated by the Sponsor, and shall be commensurate with the foregoing school performance grade designations in accordance with the guidelines as established by FDOE. This Contract may be recommended for termination by the Sponsor if:
(1) insufficient progress has been made towards the goals and outcomes designated in the SIP; or
(2) the School receives a state designated grade of “F” in two (2) years of any four (4) years period.
Academic Achievement. A. The Board and the Association recognize that the ability of students to progress and mature academically is a combined result of school, home, economic, and social environment and that teachers alone cannot be held accountable for all aspects of the academic achievement of the student in the classroom. When such test results are used, factors such as other causal factors such as the family environment, the validity and reliability of the instrument, possible cultural biases of the instrument, and other testing problems shall also be considered.
Academic Achievement. At ASPIRA, we believe that the following statement by Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx, Xx. embodies our philosophy of education: “Intelligence plus character-that is the goal of true education.” Our approach to learning includes the measurement of academic growth, as well as character growth. This is reflected in our philosophy of mastery learning and character education based on the Responsive Classroom approach.
Academic Achievement. 19.11.1 Members who have upon hire or earn an Associate Degree in an approved subject area shall receive $250 annually. Payment shall be made the first pay of December for the previous fiscal year. Initial payment shall be prorated based on date approved.
19.11.2 Members who have upon hire or earn a Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an approved subject area shall receive $375 annually. Payment shall be made the first pay of December for the previous fiscal year. Initial payment shall be prorated based on date approved.
19.11.3 Incentive will be paid for highest degree only as long as the degree is not a requirement of the job.
19.11.4 Incentive will be paid for job related subject matter to be approved by the Department head.
Academic Achievement. 46.1 Members who have upon hire or earn an Associate or equivalent degree in an approved subject area shall receive an additional $500.
46.2 Members who have upon hire or earn a Bachelor or equivalent degree in an approved subject area shall receive an additional $750.
46.3 The approved subject areas shall include, but not be limited to the criminal justice field, law-related degrees, supervisory and management fields, psychology, sociology, or technical degrees that the Chief of Police determines are relative to the present or future needs of the Department.
