Assumptions/Exclusions. All meetings will be virtual, no site visits or in person meetings are included in this scope of services. • Meetings are expected to be no longer than 1 hour on Microsoft Teams (or similar platform). Meeting agenda and minutes preparation are excluded from this scope of services. • This scope of services is for roadway pavement layout analysis and preliminary design. The client may request changes to the approved plan set under a separate scope and fee. • The deliverable is a preliminary exhibit showing the design elements listed above for interim review. The exhibit will not be intended for regulatory approval, permitting, bidding, or construction purposes. • The design of the roundabout will follow the standard geometry identified in the draft Engineering Design Manual for Fort Bend County. Variation from the standard will require additional effort and will be negotiated under a separate scope and fee. • It is anticipated that there may be impacts the detention pond size requirements and/or the geometry because of the redesigned intersection. Halff will not consider any drainage impacts/design with this scope. Halff can provide preliminary considerations for the drainage impacts for an additional fee to be negotiated separately. • Full design of the intersection is excluded from this scope of services. Pavement markings, signage, construction phasing, SWPPP, etc. design is excluded from this scope of services. Halff can provide the additional design consideration for these elements to be negotiated for a separate scope and fee. • Comments from BBI and FBC will all be delivered at once. If separate comments are provided for Halff to address at once. If comments are delivered separately, Halff will only address comments one time without an additional authorization.

Assumptions/Exclusions. One copy of drawings and specifications, and an updated budget estimate for Security Audio Visual Systems, and Radio Antenna will be provided to the architect at each of the following levels of design completion: 100% Design Development, 50% Construction Documents, 100% Construction Documents, and Bid Documents. Architectural, electrical, and mechanical design services associated with this project are not included in this fee. On Line will coordinate with the Architect to ensure inclusion of these Documents into the building construction package. During Construction Administration we have included time to review the initial shop drawings and one corrected resubmittal. Additional time expended on shop drawings, if required, will be an extra service. Additional site visits or meetings, if requested, will be an extra service. Project expenses and travel will be reimbursable at our costs. This fee excludes any equipment licensing, which shall take place between the County and the vendor. Assumptions/Exclusions.  Allowances will only be used with prior written authorization from the CITY’s project manager. All allowances will be tracked and identified separately on invoices.  Any work not specifically identified as being part of this scope of work or allowances shall be clearly identified in advance and no such work shall be started without prior written authorization from the CITY’s Engineering Project Manager.  Design services beyond 30% are excluded, including contract document preparation (final plans and specifications).  Construction Phase Services for equipping the well (including special inspections) are excluded.  No Laboratory Testing Services will be needed (since Well #10 is already classified as a potable well). Assumptions/Exclusions. A current Title Report shall be supplied by the City so that any easement encumbrances within the survey area can be accurately plotted on the base survey. • The scope of work does not include any Survey Monument recovery, re- establishment or document filings that may be required by California State Law due to the construction of proposed improvements of this project. • No easements shall be plotted outside of the subject property. Only property lines as delineated on a base GIS drawing shall be plotted around the outside of the outlined property.
