Basic Wage Rates. Basic wage rates and locations for each job classification and wage zone are shown in wage progression schedules included in Exhibit A.
Basic Wage Rates. The schedule of basic rates listed in Exhibit “A“ and Rate Schedule, shall be effective during the term of this Agreement and subject to the terms of this Article. All of the cents per hour cost of living adjustments as determined by the application of Article shall be applied to the appropriate basic wage rates and the resulting total wage rates shall then be adjusted to the nearest one-half cent.
Basic Wage Rates. 13.1 Wage Schedule Service" means a period of service upon which the employee's wage progression is based. The wage schedule service of an employee may be less than, equal to, or greater than the employee's actual period of service with the Company.
13.2 An employee shall suffer no loss in wage schedule service or the appropriate rate for such service except as follows:
A. Voluntary transfer to lower rated title.
B. Demotions in lieu of lay-off.
C. Demotions for cause.
D. Job transfer for health reasons. In the event of a demotion in lieu of lay-off resulting in a loss in the wage rate, the reduction in the employee's wage rate will be made by an initial reduction of twenty-five percent (25%) and then an additional reduction of twenty-five (25%) each in three (3) increments over a nine (9) month period until the appropriate wage rate is reached.
13.3 When an employee transfers jobs, his/her position in the wage progression schedule for the new job shall be the rate in the new title equal to or higher than his/her present rate plus the next step in progression, and shall not be determined by his/her full credited service with the Company.
13.4 An employee’s previous experience in the type of work they are being employed, may be given reasonable credit for such experience in establishing their rate of pay.
13.5 The Company agrees to grant scheduled wage increases specified in their appropriate schedules in accordance with the time intervals and amounts provided in such schedules, subject to the following conditions:
1) Wage progression/step increases will be effective based on the service anniversary date for active, full time employees and based on date last given for part time employees after the part time employee has worked 1,040 hours.
2) Annual wage increases will be effective the first day of the pay period closest to the effective date of the increase.

Basic Wage Rates. The following minimum wage rates shall be effective for Residential Wiremen working normal hours. The required licenses are: District of Columbia, Virginia, and Xxxxxxxxxx County. Any individual who possesses a Residential Xxxxxxx license from any other jurisdiction may be classified as a Residential Xxxxxxx I for a period not to exceed nine months. Basic Wage Rates. 1. Effective May 11, 2023, the basic wage rate for operators will be as follows: Regular Operators -- $34.37
2. Effective September 1, 2023, the basic wage rate for operators will be as follows: Regular Operators -- $35.57
3. Effective September 1, 2024, the basic wage rate for operators will be as follows: Regular Operators -- $36.81
4. In addition to the above wage rates, 1% of wages (fully loaded) will be credited to Marin County for the purpose of preserving Marin County service. If Marin County ceases to use District bus service, 1% will be reinstated to the wages of Bus Operators at that time. If Marin County substantially reduces District bus service, the parties may mutually agree to reopen the MOU to address this issue and the continuation of the 1% credit
5. During the training period for new bus operators, the basic wage rate for trainees shall be 85% of the full-time operator rate.
6. All operators assigned a trainee for instruction either in the classroom (for the full day) or on the road, shall be paid an amount equal to one (1) hour’s pay per day in addition to their regular rate of pay. No operator shall receive more than an amount equal to one (1) hour’s pay in the event an operator is assigned more than one trainee for instruction. The District agrees to use the following criteria in selection of classroom training instructors: driving record, attendance record, infraction record, testing criteria, seniority, EEO requirements, and three (3) years’ minimum service as a bus operator.
7. Upon completion of training, new drivers will receive the following percentage of the basic hourly rate for regular operators: For the first six (6) months of service: 90% For the second six (6) months of service: 95% Thereafter: 100%
8. Operators shall be paid biweekly, with the pay period closing on Wednesday and the operators being paid the following Wednesday.
9. The above paragraph may be amended by mutual agreement between the Union and the District.
Basic Wage Rates. Basic rates of pay during the term of this Agreement shall be in accordance with Appendix “A”, however, an employee will not be prevented from receiving a higher rate of pay for his/her classification.

2. Effective September 1, 2020, the basic wage rate for operators will be as follows: Regular Operators -- $32.09
