Behaviour and Attitudes. We have high expectations for our students’ behaviour and conduct. These expectations are commonly understood and applied consistently and fairly. We have an established behaviour philosophy with clear systems and expectations of students. ‘Teachers expect students to behave well. They deal quickly with poor behaviour. Students understand clearly the consequences if they misbehave’ (Ofsted, October 2019). Staff and students have been inducted via our Google Classroom guide which outlines our expectations. This platform will continue to be embedded and utilised as our main virtual environment. Relationships among our students and staff reflect a positive and respectful culture; students are safe and feel safe. ‘Relationships between staff and students are strong. Students know who to go to if they are worried or have concerns. Much of this focuses on the theme of the ‘Ebbsfleet Family’ and leaders’ commitment to offering a ‘home from home’. As a result, students feel safe at school’ (Ofsted, October 2019).
