Classwork and Homework. The College aims to encourage and develop each student to her potential. Students are expected to try their best and adhere to the expected standards regarding classwork and homework. Serious misdemeanours, e.g. cheating or forging notes, will be dealt with by the relevant staff member. For students studying a VCE or IB subject, issues regarding the authentication of work and examination rules and regulations are outlined by the VCAA and IBO. These expectations must be followed and the consequences are beyond the control of MLC. Details are outlined in the Senior School Student Handbook. Where students are not meeting classroom or homework expectations, in considering an appropriate course of action, the teacher may consult relevant staff. Students are also encouraged to approach their teacher to seek assistance where necessary.

Classwork and Homework. Classwork and homework are part of the school curriculum. They provide students with practice in applying skills that are taught allow them to extend their learning. • Classwork and homework will be reviewed to provide feedback to students in a timely manner. • Three missing assignments (classwork and homework) = time in detention to complete the work, one (1) MDR (Minor Discipline Referral) and parent contact by phone or email. • After three (3) missing assignment MDRs, teachers will issue an ODR (Office Discipline Referral) to the administration. An administrator will contact the parent to resolve the problem. The daily amount of homework will vary based upon the maturity, ability and needs of students. Grade level homework routines will be explained at Back to School Night. Code of Honor/Cheating/Plagiarism Cheating in any form is a very serious infraction of school rules. Cheating is interpreted as copying or loaning of homework and other assignments, whether in class or out of class, as well as giving, receiving or allowing to be given, the answers to quizzes and tests. Plagiarism is stealing or passing off as one’s own the ideas or words, images or other creative works of others or using a creative production without crediting the source. Credit must be given for every direct quotation, paraphrasing, or summarizing a work (in whole or in part, in one’s own words), and information, which is not common knowledge. Determining additional forms of cheating/plagiarism will be the responsibility of OCEAA staff including teachers and administration. Cheating/Xxxxxxxxxx is unfair to the students who have worked hard on their assignments, unfair to teachers who have worked hard to help them learn, and most of all it is unfair to the student involved. The objective of a student activity at OCEAA is to learn. The grade only signifies his/her achievement of that learning. An unearned grade only signifies that he/she has learned the worst kind of lesson. Cheating/Plagiarism the first time will result in an automatic “F” or “no credit” on a test or assignment plus an on-campus suspension. Cheating/Plagiarism the second time, and subsequent incidents of cheating/plagiarism, will result in an automatic “F” or “no credit” on the test or assignment plus a formal suspension.   • Fences Except for establishment cost incurred by the United States and replacement cost not due to the Landowner’s negligence or malfeasance, all other costs involved in maintenance of fences and similar facilities to exclude livestock are the responsibility of the Landowner. The installation or use of fences which have the effect of preventing wildlife access and use of the Easement Area are prohibited on the Easement Area, easement boundary, or on the Landowner’s land that is immediately adjacent to, and functionally related to, the Easement Area.

  • Irrigation The City shall provide water to the Premises for the purpose of irrigating the facility. The City specifically reserves the right to restrict water usage under this Agreement if water restrictions are placed on other water users within the City. Prior to the start of the season, City will provide charge up and run through the automatic irrigation systems to check for proper operation. City will provide Lessee with a radio for remote operation of the irrigation system, which Lessee shall use for the day to day maintenance, repair, and monitoring of the irrigation system. If the radio is lost, stolen, broken, or is rendered unusable, Lessee shall pay $1500 for the replacement radio. City is responsible for the maintenance and repair of the following irrigation elements, to the extent applicable: curb stops, backflow prevention devices, backflow enclosures, main line pipings, electric control valves, and controllers. Lessee shall notify Parks Division Water managers by email if any of these irrigation elements are malfunctioning or broken.

  • Glazing All new and replacement exterior windows shall have sealed, low emmissivity, insulating glass units which are manufactured by members of SIGMA and IGCC. Sealed insulating glass shall meet ASTM E774, class B. Glass shall be hermetically dual sealed, inert gas filled, double pane units with exterior 3/16” bronze float glass (IoE second surface), ½” air space, and interior 3/16” clear float glass. Insulated panels, if used, shall be 1” laminated panels equal to Xxxxx Industries architectural panels with a porcelain fused-on finish. Wired or clear fire-rated glass shall be UL approved. Safety glass shall be tempered or laminated, and shall meet ANSI 297.1 standard.

  • Fencing The SPD shall Fence the demarcated boundary of the Demised Premises at the SPD’s own expense in every respect.

  • Scoring The number of routes each company operates (Route # 0001-2999, 8000-8199) will be multiplied by 2 to determine the daily number of trips. (Only accidents, breakdowns and service reports related to routes falling in this range will be used for the evaluation). The daily number of trips will be multiplied by 175 to arrive at the annual number of trips. The number of accidents, breakdowns and service complaints will be divided by the total number of trips to calculate a percent figure. Each company’s percentage will be compared to the total average. See below for a sample.
