Client Vacations. 16:01 During client trips outside their residence, the Employer and the Union agree to the following:
(a) Effective April 1, 2017, each employee shall receive two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each twenty four (24) hour period.
(b) All reasonable expenses such as meals, transportation and accommodation shall be covered in full by the Employer.
(c) Going on client vacations is voluntary for employees. The senior qualified employee who is preferred by the client shall be chosen. The client’s choice shall be determined by the Program Coordinator.
(d) In the event that no qualified employee volunteers to go on a client vacation the Employer reserves the right to contract outside of the bargaining unit.
Client Vacations. After being approved by the Employer, an employee who accompanies clients on a vacation shall be paid in advance of the vacation, the amount indicated on the expense proposal/itinerary the following expenses: travel; meals; accommodation; admission charges; recreational fees. Staff participation in client vacations or escorts shall be on a voluntary basis. Staff voluntarily attending vacations or escorts responsible for residents, trainees, and other persons designated to their charge will be compensated to a maximum of sixteen

31:01 During client trips which exceed twenty-four (24) hours in duration outside Winnipeg city limits, the Employer and Union agree to the following terms and conditions:
(a) Each employee will be compensated at twelve (12) hours at her regular rate of pay and her sleep over premium within each twenty-four (24) hour period (12 midnight - 12 midnight). Any time over the twelve (12) hours will be considered as voluntary time with no claim to wages and benefits.
(b) The Employer will ask the regularly scheduled employees to accompany clients on vacations. If a regularly scheduled employee is unable to accompany the clients then they will be given preference for available additional hours within the home to the equivalent of lost hours or four

(a) effective day of ratification (July 11, 2007), each employee shall receive one hundred and seventy-five dollars ($175.00) for each twenty four (24) hour period.
(b) all reasonable expenses such as meals, transportation and accommodation shall be covered in full by the Employer.
(c) employees shall not be required to accompany clients on trips outside Winnipeg. Such work shall be voluntary.
(d) employees shall be asked to accompany clients on such trips in order of seniority so long as they possess the necessary qualifications and are reasonably compatible with the client (s) concerned.

(b) The Employer will ask the regularly scheduled employees to accompany clients on vacations. If a regularly scheduled employee is unable to accompany the clients then they will be given preference for available additional hours within the home to the equivalent of lost hours or four (4) weeks from the date of the last missed shift whichever occurs first.
(c) The Employer will ask employees to accompany clients, ensuring fair and equitable rotation amongst staff within the home. Employees can accept this work on the above conditions by mutual agreement. Should a designated general holiday occur during the planned vacation, twelve

Staff voluntarily attending vacations or escorts responsible for residents, trainees, and other persons designated to their charge will be compensated to a maximum of sixteen (16) hours per each twenty-four (24) hour period. Regularly scheduled days off that occur during the client vacation or escorts shall be rescheduled at a time mutually agreeable to between the Supervisor and the employee. Staff who may directly suffer a loss of hours due to supporting client vacations or escorts shall have first priority (in order of seniority) to accompany clients on vacations or escorts.
Client Vacations. Clients must give MSW prior notice (email is acceptable) of the dates of their vacation to be eligible for the vacation credit: After six (6) months of continuous enrollment, clients will earn up to one (1) week vacation per calendar year. After one (1) year of continuous enrollment, clients will earn up to two (2) weeks vacation per calendar year. A tuition credit of 50% will be applied to your invoice for the vacation week. Prior notice must be received (email is acceptable) for vacation dates, and your child(ren) must be absent for the full week (Monday through Friday.) Vacation weeks can not be used consecutively, and can only be used once per six (6) month period.
Client Vacations. Clients must give MSW prior notice (email is acceptable) of the dates of their vacation to be eligible for the vacation credit: The Client will receive a credit of 50% for up to five (5) business days’ vacation per calendar year after 6 months of continuous care and up to ten (10) business days’ vacation per calendar year after one year of continuous care. Vacation credit not used during a calendar year will not be carried over. Vacation credit may only be used in one week increments. Payment is required for all vacation days, partial or full, other than this allowed credit.
