Co-ordinator. A. A Co-ordinator means a carer at a Long Day Care/Preschool who holds an AQF Certificate III in Children’s Services or a carer in an OOSH and who is appointed to co-ordinate, administer and manage a service. B. An Employee at this level is required to perform all of the following duties: • be accountable to the Employer for the administration of the service; • co-ordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of the service; • manage staff through liaison and consultation with the Employer; • oversee and ensure the implementation and maintenance of a healthy, safe and clean environment for staff and children; • ensure day-to-day administrative tasks are completed appropriately, including requirements for funding and licensing; • ensure the service adheres to all relevant regulations and licensing guidelines; • ensure all appropriate records are maintained; • liaise with and consult with parents regarding the needs of the children and the community; • liaise with management to ensure that all matters and procedures relating to Government Funding are complied with in accordance with appropriate guidelines and, where applicable, submissions for funding to relevant authorities are made and funds applied in accordance with the relevant guidelines and approvals; • assist with the preparation of budgets in consultation with the Employer, making appropriate recommendations and manage service financial responsibilities within approved levels; • attend meetings as required by the Employer consistent with position responsibilities. C. In addition an Employee may be required to perform some or all of the following duties: D. An Employee at this level is required to possess and maintain a current first aid certificate recognised under the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations as amended and administer first aid as required.

Co-ordinator. The Co-ordinator shall be the intermediary between the Contractors and the Commission and shall perform all tasks assigned to it as described in the Contract and hereunder. The Co-ordinator is re- sponsible for the overall management of the Project. In particular, the Co-ordinator shall be responsible for: Vis-à-vis the Commission: i. signing the Contract with the Commission after authorisation by all the Contractors represent- ing at least eighty percent (80%) of the Project Shares; ii. receiving the entire financial contribution from the Commission. The Co-ordinator will manage this contribution by promptly allocating it to the Contractors pursuant to the Programme of Ac- tivities and the decisions taken by the appropriate bodies and no later than fifteen (15) days from receipt of such contribution from the Commission; iii. supervising the scientific, technical, financial and administrative progress of the Project, and keep informed the Commission of all the relevant information as specified in the Contract; iv. co-ordinating the reporting to the Commission on the basis of the information gathered from the Contractors; v. submitting documentation to the Commission, including all reports, Project Deliverables and any other necessary information required. If one or more Contractors are late in submission of deliverables under the Contract, the Co-ordinator may submit the other Contractors’ delivera- bles to the Commission. vi. presenting amendments to the Contract approved by the Management Board to the Commis- sion. Vis-à-vis the other Contractors: i. organising the activities and chairing the meetings of the Management Board and Scientific and Technological Advisory Board; ii. forwarding any documents and information connected with the Contract performance to the Management Board and Scientific and Technological Advisory Board and the Contractors concerned; iii. setting up an Handbook for the Project’s management to be approved by the Management Board; iv. acting as an intermediate between the Contractors; v. following up the Project expenses and monitoring the cost statements prepared and certified by the Contractors; vi. transferring sums allocated among the Contractors as per their Project Shares according to the decisions of the Management Board and keeping related records identifying what portion of the payments made by the Commission has been allocated and/or paid to each Contractor. Co-ordinator. The allowance for Co-ordinator is 7% of salary on grid annually. Co-ordinator means a certified teacher who holds the necessary qualifications for the position. A Co-ordinator in accordance with the requirements under the Education Act and Regulations is responsible for co-ordination, supervision and delivery of programmes. A Co-ordinator shall serve on the basis of a renewable fixed term appointment as determined by the Board.
Co-ordinator. 6.4.1 The Co-ordinator shall be the intermediary between the Parties and the Funding Authority and shall perform all tasks assigned to it as described in the Grant Agreement and in this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.2 In particular, the Co-ordinator shall be responsible for: monitoring compliance by the Parties with their obligations; keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available; collecting, reviewing to verify consistency and submitting reports, other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification) and specific requested documents to the Funding Authority; preparing the meetings, proposing decisions and preparing the agenda of General Assembly meetings, chairing the meetings, preparing the minutes of the meetings and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings; transmitting promptly documents and information connected with the Project to any other Party concerned; administering the financial contribution of the Funding Authority and fulfilling the financial tasks described in Section 7.3; providing, upon request, the Parties with official copies or originals of documents that are in the sole possession of the Co-ordinator when such copies or originals are necessary for the Parties to present claims. If one or more of the Parties is late in submission of any project deliverable, the Co-ordinator may nevertheless submit the other partiesproject deliverables and all other documents required by the Grant Agreement to the Funding Authority in time. 6.4.3 The Co-ordinator shall not be entitled to act or to make legally binding declarations on behalf of any other Party or of the consortium, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the Grant Agreement or this Consortium Agreement. 6.4.4 The Co-ordinator shall not enlarge its role beyond the tasks specified in this Consortium Agreement and in the Grant Agreement.
Co-ordinator. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2008, to August 31, 2009, shall be $10,280.00. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2009, to August 31, 2010, shall be $10,588.00. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2010, to August 31, 2011, shall be $10,906.00. The annual salary allowance for a Co-ordinator for the period September 1, 2011, to August 31, 2012, shall be $11,233.00. New appointments shall be on a term basis for not less than one (1) and for up to three (3) years, with Board option to extend on a yearly basis.

Co-ordinator shall be the Party designated as such in Clause 1. The Co-ordinator shall operate as the point of contact with the Commission. The Co-ordinator shall have no authority to make any commitment by or on behalf of the Parties other than to the extent specifically stated in this Consortium Agreement or as otherwise agreed among the Parties.

If the Co-ordinator fails in its coordination tasks, the Plenary Group may propose to the European Commission to change the Co-ordinator.
