Day Operations. The normal workweek for employees shall be thirty-seven and one- half (37 1/2) hours worked during the period Monday to Friday. The normal workday shall begin at 08:15 hours and end at 16:25 hours, with a normal lunch period of forty (40) minutes per day.
Day Operations. (1) Employer(s) who want to establish a seven (7) day operation shall meet with the Local Union(s) involved and establish seven (7) day operation work rules. Said rules must be approved by the nego- tiating committee prior to the seven (7) day operation going into effect.

The Solicitor will be responsible for carrying out any appraisal or annual review required by its policies or the secondee’s terms of employment. If internal proceedings in relation to performance, conduct, incapacity or attendance are necessary these shall be carried out by the Solicitor. The Client will provide such information as the Solicitor may reasonably require for these purposes.

Employees working on operations which are normally classified as seven-day operations shall receive holiday pay in the event the holiday falls on one of their regularly scheduled days off and they meet the other eligibility requirements of this procedure for paid holiday time; provided, however, that if such employees work on a holiday which falls on their sched- uled day of work when such employees are scheduled to work on a holiday and do work, they shall not receive holiday pay under this procedure but shall be paid for time worked in accordance with Section

Day Operations. During the 1998 negotiations, the Company and the Union had lengthy discussions regarding the possibility of the Company operating a regular seven (7) day per week work schedule. The Company advised that it may be necessary or desired for it to work seven (7) days per week in order to meet the needs of the business. During the term of this Agreement, the Company and the Union agreed to meet, if requested by either the Company or the Union, to attempt to establish a seven (7) day per week operating schedule and any other Collective Agreement language that would need to be amended in order to effect a seven (7) day schedule. In this event, both parties will make reasonable effort and bargain in good faith to reach an agreement for language in this regard. Final agreement in this undertaking would be subject to membership approval.
