Employees regularly scheduled to work on a holiday which falls on a Saturday or Sunday shall observe the holiday on the day it occurs, or if required to work shall receive holiday compensation for work on that day. Holiday compensation shall not be paid for work on the Friday preceding a Saturday holiday nor on the Monday following a Sunday holiday. 202. If the provisions of this Article deprive an employee of the same number of holidays that an employee receives who works Monday through Friday, he/she shall be granted additional days off to equal such number of holidays. The designation of such days off shall be by mutual agreement of the employee and the appropriate supervisor with the approval of the appointing officer. Such days off must be taken within the fiscal year. In no event shall the provisions of this Article result in such employee receiving more or less holiday entitlement than an employee on a Monday through Friday work schedule. 203. (b) An employee shall be paid a minimum of the equivalent of one (1) hour pay at the appropriate rate of pay computed from when the employee actually begins work. (c) The employee will not receive additional compensation if the employee receives additional calls during the same one (1) hour period, including the resumption of on-call-duty.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 110.   • Compensation for Overtime Assigned overtime is designated as those hours over the regular hours of work which are requested of the employee by management. Assigned overtime worked shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2).

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. (b) A part-time employee working less than the normal days per week of a full-time employee, and who is required to work other than their regularly scheduled workdays, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the days so worked up to and including the normal workdays in the workweek of a full-time employee. (c) Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of (a) and (b) above.

  • Annual Compensation The Executive's "Annual Compensation" for purposes of this Agreement shall be deemed to mean the highest level of base salary paid to the Executive by the Employers or any subsidiary thereof during any of the three calendar years ending during the calendar year in which the Date of Termination occurs.
