b) assessment of applicant products and/or services, processes and practices;
c) deployment of Halal certification auditor competences and requirements;
d) determination of audit time (see Annex B) and duration requirements;
e) certification body's policies and procedures related to contract review.

a) current guidelines of PNAC for Halal Certification;
b) Islamic rules related to Halal Certification;

d) identification and assessment of risks for Halal requirements;
e) corrections and corrective actions to be taken with regards to Halal matters;
f) any laws and regulations relevant to the Halal product/services;
g) products, processes and practices;
h) relevant Halal food safety management system requirements where applicable,
i) relevant standards;
j) assessment and review of an audit report for accuracy and completeness;
k) assessment and review of the effectiveness of corrective actions;
l) the certification process;
m) Good understanding of the fundamental rules and conditions related to Halal foods especially the xxxxxxxxx of animals according to Islamic rules and the requirements of PS/OIC standards and guidelines.
Competences. The certification body shall ensure that technical experts demonstrate the ability to provide expertise in their technical area.
Competences. The Family Assistant collaborates with the patient and his family, being able to: ▪ Interact with domestic and support activities; ▪ Follow the rules of courtesy and respect in interpersonal relationships, managing his emotions; ▪ Orient himself in the organizational context, also applying written rules; ▪ Take care of cleaning, hygiene and reorganization of the house; ▪ Observe and report to the family (or to the assistance personnel) possible changes in the conditions of the patient; ▪ Take care and help the patient during his daily life activities at home (clothing and nutrition); ▪ Support the patient in his personal hygiene, respecting customs and personal habits; ▪ Collaborate in the administration of the house (laundry, cleaning, minor maintenance, custody of animals and plants, etc.); ▪ Collaborate in the preparation and distribution of meals, observing food and hygiene standards; ▪ Cooperate in activities related to nutrition services (supply, preparation and distribution of meals); ▪ Accompany the patient outside in order to help him to access to services or other necessities (paperwork, leisure activities, etc.); ▪ Provide companionship and help to the person, even in case of hospitalization or hospital care in place of the family; ▪ Collaborate in activities aimed at providing the maintenance or recovery of social relationships; ▪ Work in network with family and other persons; ▪ Interact positively with other operators. Standard number of learners: 15 Duration: 200 hours – 100 hours of theory (in classroom) and 100 hours of practical training (that can be substituted with 3 months of work at the patient’s home with supervision).

The international and intercultural dimension of students’ and learners’ experiences is integrated in and will be achieved through activities which are a part of their physical or virtual mobility. The minimum workload is therefore 12 ECTS for academic mobility, whereas for non-academic mobility (extracurricular activities) the workload will be based on the specific activity the student is engaging in (e.g. YUFE Challenge Teams, YUFE Help Desks etc.). For YUFE Help Desks, a participation of a minimum of 50 hours for extracurricular activities or 2 ECTS for activities within modules is required. For Volunteering activities, participation of a minimum of 50 hours is required. For YUFE@Home, a minimum of one semester in the programme with active involvement with the community is required.
Competences. 7.1. DFID-E envisages that this consultancy will require a team of experts with skills and expertise in a range of academic disciplines. The team should be gender balanced and include a mix of international and national consultants. (Ethiopian) Somali team members will be an asset. DFID would expect to see a clear mechanism for providing long-term, ongoing support and advice on monitoring and evaluation issues to PDP partners. Numbers of staff required within the team are to be determined by prospective contractors.
7.2. There are significant risks associated with operating in an insecure environment (with large parts of the Region outside of FCO travel advice) and the reputational risks of working alongside actors frequently cited in human rights violation allegations. A detailed understanding of the political, conflict and socio-economic context of Somali Region, close relationships and extensive networking with the key personalities and close monitoring of the situation on the ground will be integral to PDP’s success.
7.3. The impact evaluation function requires the following skills and expertise: Proven track record in the design of complex monitoring and evaluation systems for large programme in resource- and data-poor settings (essential) including in all of the focal areas of the PDP and of results-based approaches (desirable). Proven ability to manage and work as a team and to work with and through partner organisations (essential). Extensive experience of designing and implementing monitoring systems, including indicator design and selection (essential). Proven track record in conducting cost-effectiveness and value for money assessments (essential).
