Conference Fund. (a) There shall be $30,000 appropriated in each year of this Agreement to finance attendance at workshops, seminars or conferences by employees, without loss of pay or benefits. Such workshops, seminars or conferences must be educational and beneficial to the employee and the agency and shall not include xxxxxxx training. A maximum of $400 shall be allotted for any one attendance; each contract year. The parties may, by mutual agreement, adjust the maximum dollar limit for subsequent contract years. No employee will attend more than two (2) conferences, workshops or seminars per year of this agreement. These funds shall be used for payment of fees and/or travel expenses, including such items as meals or lodging.
Conference Fund. A. The Board shall provide a conference budget of $25,000 to be administered by the executives of the HEA. For every $5.00 increase in the per diem substitute teacher rate beyond $75.00 a day, the conference budget will be increased by $500.00.
Conference Fund. (i) For Fiscal Year 2017 (6/30/2016-7/1/2017) there shall be no allocation of funds. Thereafter, thirty thousand ($30,000) dollars shall be allocated per contract year to finance attendance at workshops, seminars or conferences by employees, without loss of pay or benefits. No overtime will be paid nor will compensatory time accrue for travel to or from such activity or attendance at such activity. Such workshops, seminars or conferences must be educational and beneficial to the employee and the agency and shall not include xxxxxxx training. A maximum of one thousand ($1,000) dollars shall be allotted for any one attendance and no employee will attend more than two conferences, workshops or seminars per year of this agreement. These funds shall be used for payment of fees and/or travel expenses, including such items as meals or lodging.
Conference Fund. (a) In 2021-2022, there shall be no new money appropriated to finance attendance at workshops, seminars or conferences by employees. Effective July 1, 2022 and each remaining year of this contract, there shall be $30,000 appropriated to finance attendance at workshops, seminars or conferences by employees, without loss of pay or benefits. Such workshops, seminars or conferences must be educational and beneficial to the employee and the agency and shall not include xxxxxxx training. A maximum of $400 shall be allotted for any one attendance, each contract year. The parties may, by mutual agreement, adjust the maximum dollar limit for subsequent contract years. Conference Fund. (a) The Employer shall allocate $32,000 for each contract year to finance attendance at workshops, seminars or conferences by employees without loss of pay or benefits. Such work- shops, seminars or conferences must be educational and beneficial to the employee and the Judicial Branch and shall not include xxxxxxx training. A maximum of $200.00 shall be allotted for any one attendance and no employee will attend more than two conferences, workshops or seminars per year of this Agreement. These funds shall be used for payment of fees and/or travel expenses, including such items as meals or lodging. These funds shall be allocated in equal amounts on a quarterly basis. Funds not committed in one quarter shall carry over to the next quarter. Unused amounts allocated for conference fund reimbursement in one fiscal year shall be available in the next fiscal year.
Conference Fund. (a) Each year of this Agreement, the Employer shall allocate $4000 to finance attendance at workshops, seminars, classes for certification or conferences by employees, without loss of pay or benefits. Such workshops, seminars, classes or conferences must be educational and beneficial to the employee and the Judicial Branch and shall not include xxxxxxx training. A maximum of $750 shall be allotted for any one attendance. These funds shall be used for payment of fees and/or travel expenses, including such items as meals or lodging. Individual employees may access said funds once per calendar year.

(Section 1) The State will allocate to the conference fund the following: 2016-2017 As Agreed Upon 2017-2018 $30,000 2018-2019 $30,000 2019-2020 $30,000 2020-2021 $30,000 A maximum of $400 will be allotted for any one attendance each contract year. No employee will attend more than two (2) conferences, workshops or seminars per year of this contract. These funds will be used for payment of fees and/or travel expenses, including meals or lodging. Unexpended funds from one fiscal year will carry over to the next fiscal year except upon expiration of the contract. Requests approved within the final six months may be paid with remaining available funds for up to three months following expiration of the contract.

Effective 07/01/2022 and each remaining year of this contract, there shall be thirty thousand dollars ($30,000) appropriated to finance attendance at professional workshops, seminars, and conferences. No employee will attend more than two (2) conferences, workshops, or seminars per year of this contract. Unexpended funds from one fiscal year will carry over to the next fiscal year except upon expiration of the contract. Each employee shall be entitled to a maximum of four hundred dollars ($400.00) reimbursement each contact year.
