CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SERVICES. During the construction phase of the project, the Engineer will assist the Airport with monitoring, documenting progress for quality and cost control and overall grant administration during construction. Activities include:
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SERVICES. A. Coordinate with the A/E and the CMc to ensure all contractual requirements are met.
B. Attend site meetings at least weekly and represent the Owner at these meetings, and prepare complete and accurate minutes for such meetings.
C. Tour the construction sites with the CMc (and Owner if desired) at least once per week to observe the progress and quality of construction.
D. Participate in conferences and render advice and assistance to Owner in order to develop economic, efficient, and desirable design, development and construction procedures.
E. Review and render advice to Owner concerning product samples and specifications provided to Owner by contractor, subcontractors, and material suppliers for use at the Project.
F. Receive suggestions or recommendations from which could improve the Project or diminish construction time or costs through a standardized value engineering process.
G. Review and track all necessary conditional and unconditional lien releases and waivers, and keep Owner informed of the status of all lien releases.
H. Review all change orders issued by CMc regarding the Project and render advice to the Owner about the form and content of such change orders in relation to the plans, specifications and the contract documents.
I. Monitor the schedule and budget with relation to the requested change orders and prepare schedule and/or cost recovery plans to keep the project on budget and schedule.
J. Review and make recommendations on all payment requrest pursuant to the contract documents, architect’s agreements, or other consultants’ agreements related to the Project.
K. Identify possible payment defaults on the part of contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers or any party who may have lien rights against the Project.
L. Perform periodic inspections of the Project at least once a week, or as deemed necessary, to verify: (i) that the materials and labor being furnished are according to the plans, specifications and contract documents, (ii)that the work being billed for in each payment request is completed in accordance to the plans, specifications and contract documents, (iii) that the contractor’s time schedule is being maintained, as shown as attachd to the construction contract, and (iv) that the costs are in line with the Owner’s budget.

CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SERVICES. The Consultant shall consult on a regular basis with the City to clarify and define the City’s requirements for the Project and review available data. The City agrees to furnish to the Consultant full information with respect to the City’s requirements, including any special or extraordinary considerations for the Project or special services needed, and also to make available pertinent existing data. The curb lines will remain as is and the boundary fence line at the baseball field defines the westerly edge of the improvement area. A rough estimate of the land to be improved is 50,000 square feet approximately 1.2 acres. The following items are currently contemplated in the site improvements:
A. General Improvements

CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SERVICES. Provide project bidding and construction technical support to City of Bend staff and DOWL.
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SERVICES. The Consultant shall perform construction services as requested by the City during Construction, responses to Requests for Information (RFI), design changes, and final record (as-built) drawings.
CONSTRUCTION PERIOD SERVICES. Owner may contract for construction period services by accepting a GMP from the CM/GC and executing an amendment with the CM/GC to include those services in the Agreement. In the event that a Contract amendment is executed adding construction period services, the CM/GC shall provide all necessary construction period services to furnish to Owner a complete, fully functional facility, capable of being legally occupied and fully used for its intended purposes upon completion of the Agreement. If construction period services are authorized by Contract amendment, the CM/GC shall execute the entire Work as described in Article 3.2 and provide the following construction period services:
