Contractor Employee TrainingContractor will develop and implement a training strategy to ensure employees obtain the following training: a. Gender- and culture-specific training, with emphasis on Native American culture. b. Basic Prison Rape Elimination Act (PREA) training and such ongoing annual training as is required by law, the State, and Contractor policy. c. Specialized PREA training for employees who may be first-line responders to allegations of sexual assault, rape, or sexual misconduct.
Contractor Employee Training. Contractor and all employees, as well as subcontractors and their employees must be properly trained and certified for work they perform.
Contractor Employee TrainingThe Contractor shall provide fully qualified and trained personnel from its own resources to support the requirements of this contract. DOE may provide training assistance at its discretion at no cost to the Contractor. All training must be approved by the COR. Overtime costs associated with training will not be reimbursed by the Government.
Contractor Employee Training. ‌ (a) Contractor’s Responsibility: The Contractor shall provide fully qualified and trained personnel from its own resources to support this contract. Contractor Employee Training. 3.16.1 The Contractor shall ensure that each Contractor employee who has been or will be issued a Common Access Card completes all annual and required training and forms within 30 days of commencing contract performance and annually as required thereafter. The COR will provide the training requirements. 3.16.2 The COR will notify the Contractor, via email, of any additional Contractor employees required to complete training requirements. 3.16.3 The Contractor shall ensure that Contractor employees, if required, complete the training.

Personnel assigned by the Contractor shall also practice good standards of moral and ethical conduct that are acceptable to the Government. The Contractor shall provide fully qualified and trained personnel from its own resources to support the requirements under this contract. The Contractor is responsible for ensuring that employees remain cognizant and knowledgeable of emerging orders, regulations, directives, and proven technologies applicable to the work to be performed. The Contractor shall ensure that all employees who perform services under this Contract attend mandatory DOE-provided security and/or safety training within 30 days of the issuance of task orders and at least once annually thereafter. The Contractor is responsible to complete any project training discussed in the Scope of Work or as directed by the Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer Representative. The Contractor shall ensure that every employee expected to work on this contract is adequately trained and instructed to perform the work safely and competently.

  • Employee Training The Provider shall provide periodic security training to those of its employees who operate or have access to the system. Further, Provider shall provide LEA with contact information of an employee who LEA may contact if there are any security concerns or questions.

Definitions: Covered employees: Employees of a contractor or subcontractor who have or will have continuing duties related to the service to be performed at the District and have or will have direct contact with students. The District will be the final arbiter of what constitutes direct contact with students. Disqualifying criminal history: Any conviction or other criminal history information designated by the District, or one of the following offenses, if at the time of the offense, the victim was under 18 or enrolled in a public school: (a) a felony offense under Title 5, Texas Penal Code; (b) an offense for which a defendant is required to register as a sex offender under Chapter 62, Texas Code of Criminal Procedure; or (c) an equivalent offense under federal law or the laws of another state. I certify that: NONE (Section A) of the employees of Contractor and any subcontractors are covered employees, as defined above. If this box is checked, I further certify that Contractor has taken precautions or imposed conditions to ensure that the employees of Contractor and any subcontractor will not become covered employees. Contractor will maintain these precautions or conditions throughout the time the contracted services are provided. OR SOME (Section B) or all of the employees of Contractor and any subcontractor are covered employees. If this box is checked, I further certify that: (1) Contractor has obtained all required criminal history record information regarding its covered employees. None of the covered employees has a disqualifying criminal history.

  • Removal of Contractor Employee All employees of the Engineer assigned to this contract shall have such knowledge and experience as will enable them to perform the duties assigned to them. The State may instruct the Engineer to remove any employee from association with work authorized in this contract if, in the sole opinion of the State, the work of that employee does not comply with the terms of this contract or if the conduct of that employee becomes detrimental to the work.

  • Contractor Key Personnel ‌ The Contractor shall assign a Corporate OASIS SB Program Manager (COPM) and Corporate OASIS SB Contract Manager (COCM) as Contractor Key Personnel to represent the Contractor as primary points-of-contact to resolve issues, perform administrative duties, and other functions that may arise relating to OASIS SB and task orders solicited and awarded under OASIS SB. Additional Key Personnel requirements may be designated by the OCO at the task order level. There is no minimum qualification requirements established for Contractor Key Personnel. Additionally, Contractor Key Personnel do not have to be full-time positions; however, the Contractor Key Personnel are expected to be fully proficient in the performance of their duties. The Contractor shall ensure that the OASIS SB CO has current point-of-contact information for both the COPM and COCM. In the event of a change to Contractor Key Personnel, the Contractor shall notify the OASIS SB CO and provide all Point of Contact information for the new Key Personnel within 5 calendar days of the change. All costs associated with Contractor Key Personnel duties shall be handled in accordance with the Contractor’s standard accounting practices; however, no costs for Contractor Key Personnel may be billed to the OASIS Program Office. Failure of Contractor Key Personnel to effectively and efficiently perform their duties will be construed as conduct detrimental to contract performance and may result in activation of Dormant Status and/or Off-Ramping (See Sections H.16. and H.17.).

  • Employee Orientation Each and every person working for a contractor, including sub- contractors, will be given an orientation to familiarize them with the site safety program. Unless otherwise specified, each sub-contractor is responsible for the orientation of their workers.

  • New Employee Orientation The Union will provide each agency personnel director with the names and addresses of up to two (2) authorized Union representatives per agency to receive notice of each formal orientation meeting held by the Department. The notice will be sent as soon as such meetings are scheduled (but not less than ten (10) days in advance) and will include date, time and location. Due to operational exigencies, agencies may schedule an orientation which will provide the Union with less than the requisite ten (10) days' notice; however the Union shall be notified as soon as possible after the scheduling of the orientation and the Union representative shall be released from duty. Agencies shall routinely schedule orientations in a manner that will allow for the ten (10) day advance notice to the Union. During the formal orientation, the Union will be permitted to give a twenty (20) minute presentation which may include an enrollment in supplemental Union benefits. The parties shall encourage employee attendance, although attendance shall not be mandatory if an employee objects to attending the presentation. In the event a formal orientation meeting is not held, or the Union is unable to attend the formal orientation because the designated Union representatives cannot be released under Article 4, the Employer shall allow the Union representative and the employee(s) to meet during duty hours at a mutually agreed upon time and location for twenty (20) minutes Employee participation in these meetings shall be encouraged although an employee shall not be required to attend such a meeting.

  • Job Training ‌ The Employer and the Union shall establish a Joint Committee on Training and Skill Upgrading for the following purposes: (1) for planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (2) for planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (3) for planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (4) for planning training programs in the area of general skill upgrading. Whenever necessary, this Committee shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Federal Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour, or other recognized training institutions.

  • First Aid Training In the interests of the occupational safety and health of employees, the Employer will undertake an in-service program of first aid training aimed at providing a first aid officer for each department.
