CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. A. Any bargaining unit members who are required by the State of Ohio to take CPR training or Basic First Aid training shall either have the course provided by the Board or the costs of the course and books paid for by the Board at Board option.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. The District shall provide CPR/first aid training without charge to employees required to obtain CPR/first aid certification.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. 6 It is mutually recognized that safety within the confines of the District operation is paramount, and that 7 the District shall provide CPR/First Aid and/or Fire Prevention courses for all employees subject to 8 this Agreement. The District may require CPR/First Aid courses of all employees who work with, or 9 are around children, including but not limited to bus drivers, food services, para-educators, and 10 custodians. The District will pay for attendance at such courses at the employee’s hourly rate subject to 11 the overtime provisions of this Agreement. It is agreed that the Employer and all employees shall be 12 vigilant in seeking out unsafe or hazardous objects or conditions and will report them immediately to 13 the appropriate personnel for correction.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. An annual program for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid certification will be provided for persons working as Child Care Directors and Instructors II.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. CPR/First aid training will be offered during the workday. If staff are unable to take advantage of the opportunities, it is their responsibility to maintain required certification.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. 9.9.1 In the event that the District requires CPR and/or first aid training for a unit member to perform an essential function of the unit member’s job description the District shall provide training opportunities for the unit members. If the member chooses to participate in training outside the District’s offerings the unit member incurs the full cost of the training. Any license or certification fee is the responsibility of the unit member.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. 20.01 The Employer shall provide for all employees reimbursement for tuition and compensation for time spent in training to acquire required CPR and First Aid training.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. Employees are expected to have valid CPR/First Aid certification upon being hired or to agree to complete such training to the end of their probationary period. Unpaid time off work to acquire such certification will be supported by the Employer. Employees must keep their CPR/First Aid certification updated. The cost of acquiring such certification will be the responsibility of the employee. Existing employees shall obtain such certification within ninety (90) calendar days of ratification of this Agreement. The Employer shall pay the cost of initial training for existing employees. Existing employees will be granted time off work, without pay, as may be necessary to fulfil this requirement.
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. The Board will provide CPR/First Aid training for all RESA employees expected to serve as lunchroom aides, playground aides, or any position requiring supervision of children when the school nurse might not be present. These RESA employees will be compensated at their regular rate for the training
CPR/FIRST AID TRAINING. The District agrees to pay the cost of any CPR/First Aid Training required as a condition of continued employment. The District has the right to designate the provider to perform such required training. An employee who does not receive the training provided by the District will be responsible for the cost, unless prevented by work assignment. Employees who allow their CPR/First Aid Training to lapse will not be paid or allowed to serve in any position until properly renewing lapsed item. All employees requiring CPR/First Aid Training shall be notified of the date and location of the training.
