EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT PAY. Beginning in September 2018, the City shall provide a one-time graduation stipend to non-probationary Union members as follows for possessing the corresponding, job- related degree, from an accredited college or university: Bachelor’s Degree: $2,000 OR Master’s Degree: $3,000* *or $1,000 upon attainment of a Master’s Degree when the Union member has previously received the one-time graduation stipend for a Bachelor’s Degree. The City agrees that by September 30, 2018, the City will compensate all current Union members that hold job-related degrees, as indicated by the provisions outlined above, a one-time graduation stipend. Moving forward, educational achievement pay will be paid annually by September 30th of each year for those non-probationary Union members who obtain a degree, as outlined above, during the course of their employment with the City of Fontana. In order to be eligible to receive education pay in September, the degree must have been conferred to the Union member by August 1st of the same year. The Union will submit the appropriate documentation to the Human Resources Department in August of each year for those eligible members. If a degree is found to be not job-related, the City will meet and discuss the item with the Union prior to denial. In addition, beginning September 2018, Union members will no longer be eligible for the City’s Educational Expense Reimbursement Program. (July 2017)

EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT PAY. Article 32.1. Those employees licensed as an EMT-P by the State of Ohio shall be paid, in addition to the rate of pay provided for under Article 16, Salaries, ninety cents ($.90) per hour. The Employer shall provide educational opportunities for the employees to satisfy their required continuing education requirements by the State of Ohio. It shall be the employee’s responsibility to obtain his own continuing education requirements either through the Employer’s training opportunities, from an outside agency, or any other training center. EDUCATIONAL ACHIEVEMENT PAY. The City will implement an education incentive payable in the first full pay period of FY 23/24. The incentive pay only applies if the employee has a degree higher than what is stated in the job description/classification, regardless of “experience in lieu of” language. The City will develop the criteria needed to validate a degree. If the degree is later supplied and verified after the beginning of the fiscal year, it is not retroactively applied to the start date. The educational pay incentive pay shall be as follows: 0.5% of base salary for AA/AS; 1% of base salary for BA/BS; 2% of base salary for Masters.

In order to be eligible to receive education pay in September, the degree must have been conferred to the Association member by August 1st of the same year. The Association will submit the appropriate documentation to the Human Resources Department in August of each year for those eligible members. Association members within the Police Officer Trainee classification are not eligible for this pay.   • STATEWIDE ACHIEVEMENT TESTING When CONTRACTOR is an NPS, per implementation of Senate Bill 484, CONTRACTOR shall administer all Statewide assessments within the California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress (“CAASP”), Desired Results Developmental Profile (“DRDP”), California Alternative Assessment (“CAA”), achievement and abilities tests (using LEA-authorized assessment instruments), the Fitness Gram with the exception of the English Language Proficiency Assessments for California (“ELPAC”) to be completed by the LEA, and as appropriate to the student, and mandated by XXX xxxxxxxx to LEA and state and federal guidelines. CONTRACTOR is subject to the alternative accountability system developed pursuant to Education Code section 52052, in the same manner as public schools. Each LEA student placed with CONTRACTOR by the LEA shall be tested by qualified staff of CONTRACTOR in accordance with that accountability program. XXX shall provide test administration training to CONTRACTOR’S qualified staff. CONTRACTOR shall attend LEA test training and comply with completion of all coding requirements as required by XXX.

  • Educational Incentive Pay Effective January 1, 2022, the current Education Incentive Differential (EID) rates from the pre-existing salary schedules shall be eliminated and, in their place, the following Educational Incentive Pay program will be applied. The salary schedules contained in Addendum B reflect the new Educational Incentive pay allowances. Upon successful completion of field training and promotion to the rank of Police Officer, an officer who has received or obtains one of the degrees set forth below from an accredited college or university shall receive an annual incentive allowance added to their hourly rate, as follows: • $1,500 for associate’s degree ($0.723/hour) • $3,000 for bachelor’s degree ($1.446/hour) • $4,500 for master’s degree and above ($2.169/hour) Educational incentives are not cumulative, but rather the employee will be entitled to the highest incentive based on the degree(s) obtained. In the event an employee obtains a new or higher degree during employment, the employee will submit to the Department proof of degree attainment. Upon verification and approval by the Department, within thirty (30) days of submission, the employee’s pay will be adjusted effective on the first day of the pay period following the date of submission by the employee. Any current employee with an EID classification will be adjusted to the non-EID rate, but will receive the annual incentive allowance as part of their hourly rate, spread over twenty-six (26) pay periods. The hourly rate will be calculated by dividing the annual educational incentive by 2,074 hours. Educational incentive pay will be included in the regular rate for overtime purposes. In addition, it will be counted as part of the employee’s annual salary for pension purposes, consistent with the prevailing Fire & Police Employees Retirement System regulations, and reflected on the salary schedules.

  • Educational Incentive For those employees receiving educational incentive payment at the time of layoff, upon re-employment, such employees shall be eligible to receive educational incentive.

  • EDUCATIONAL INCENTIVES As part of the District’s commitment to enhance the knowledge, skills, abilities and opportunities for promotion of its classified employees, the District offers the following programs:

  • Multi-year Planning Targets Schedule A may reflect an allocation for the first Funding Year of this Agreement as well as planning targets for up to two additional years, consistent with the term of this Agreement. In such an event, the HSP acknowledges that if it is provided with planning targets, these targets:

  • Educational Incentive Program 15.2.1 A regular monthly classified unit member covered by this Agreement shall be granted a one-step increase (up to a step maximum of step G for Office/Technical unit members) on the first (1st) of the month following verification of satisfactory completion (grade of “C” or above) of twelve (12) semester units of credit from an accredited institution. Courses must have been enrolled in and credits must have been earned subsequent to the unit member's employment with the District. Official transcripts verifying a grade of “C” or above will be considered proof of satisfactory completion, in addition to the Educational Incentive Program Request for Salary Advancement Form, shall be provided by the eligible unit member and forwarded to the Office of Human Resources. Units of credit obtained prior to promotion must be applied toward step movement within sixty (60) calendar days of effective promotion date. The unit member shall ensure that the Compensation department is aware of these additional credits within this sixty (60) day period.

  • Performance Targets Threshold, target and maximum performance levels for each performance measure of the performance period are contained in Appendix B.

  • Career Ladder Effective July 1, 2014, TALC and the District agreed to the 11 implementation of a Career Ladder for the advancement of instructional staff on the 12 Performance Salary Schedule. Elements of the Career Ladder are outlined and posted on 13 the District website and include detailed descriptions of Career Ladder levels and the 14 requirements for movement. All instructional staff hired on or after January 8, 2018 will 15 be placed on the Apprentice level of the Career Ladder.

  • Performance Measures and Metrics This section outlines the performance measures and metrics upon which service under this SLA will be assessed. Shared Service Centers and Customers will negotiate the performance metric, frequency, customer and provider service responsibilities associated with each performance measure. Measurements of the Port of Seattle activities are critical to improving services and are the basis for cost recovery for services provided. The Port of Seattle and The Northwest Seaport Alliance have identified activities critical to meeting The NWSA’s business requirements and have agreed upon how these activities will be assessed.
