Facilities and Equipment Use. The Association shall have the right to use school facilities and equipment, including computers, copy machines, and all other types of audio/visual equipment at reasonable times when such equipment is not otherwise in use or interrupting normal school operations. The Association shall pay for the cost of all materials and supplies associated with such use. The Association agrees to be responsible for the financial loss due to careless or negligent use of school premises and school equipment while carrying out Association business. No equipment shall be removed from the school premises without the consent of the Administration.
Facilities and Equipment Use. β To assist it in its representational functions and consistent with applicable laws, the Union shall have the right to use College facilities and equipment when they are not otherwise in use and when such usage would not interrupt routine College operations. The Employer recognizes the need for the Association's members, as defined in this Agreement, to use equipment belonging to the Employer when it pertains solely to business being conducted by and for the Birch Run Educational Support Personnel. Access to the following equipment will be made available, providing it is not in use and a twenty-four (24) hour written notification to the Supervisor is provided: Typewriters, computers, duplicating equipment, calculating machines, and audio-visual equipment. The Association shall pay for the cost of all materials and supplies incident to such use.
3. Duly authorized representatives of the Association and its respective affiliates shall be permitted to transact official Association business on Employer property at all reasonable times, provided that this shall not interfere with or interrupt normal operations, nor take place on employee paid work time. Association representatives will notify the appropriate Administrator of their presence upon such arrival at a District facility before any transactions occur.
4. Bargaining members shall be provided an area assigned for posting notices of official Association business. The Association may use the interoffice delivery service of the Employer, without U.S. postage, providing such usage is in compliance with official Association business. Any official union posting shall have an authorized signature, and a copy of the posting will be given to the Superintendent.

The Association will reimburse the District for any damage done to District property or equipment resulting from the Association's use. The Association may reproduce newsletters and notices for distribution to Chapter 100 members. Such use shall occur during non-duty hours and at times that the facilities or equipment are not being used for school related purposes. The Association shall reimburse the District for the cost of operating plus supplies utilized. The Association shall be provided reasonable space and given exclusive use on existing bulletin boards for posting notices and bulletins related to classified personnel. Such bulletin boards shall be available in any building where employees are working.

The bargaining unit members shall pay for the total cost of all materials and supplies incident to such use. The above mentioned equipment shall not be removed from the school building. The Association shall be held responsible for the repair and/or replacement of equipment which is lost, stolen or damaged through use by the Association or its members, when used for DESPA business.
