FRINGE BENEFITS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. The parties hereto agree as follows: A. The RES Assistant Principal may undertake paid consultative work, speaking engagements, writing, lecturing or other professional duties and obligations provided such activities do not interfere with the meeting of his responsibilities as RES Assistant Principal. B. The Board encourages the RES Assistant Principal to continue his professional development (e.g., pursuit of his doctoral degree) and expects him to participate in relevant learning experiences. The RES Assistant Principal will be reimbursed $600 per academic credit, for a maximum of 18 credit hours per year for tuition expenses related to his doctoral program. Subject to budgeted appropriations, the RES Assistant Principal may attend professional meetings at the local, state, and national level, with prior approval of the Superintendent. The expenses for such meetings will be paid by the Board after submission of valid receipts and approval by the Superintendent. C. The Board shall provide the RES Assistant Principal with fifteen (15) sick days annually, accumulative to 180 days. If this contract expires, or is terminated for any reason, the unused accumulated sick leave shall not be paid to the RES Assistant Principal. D. The Board shall provide the RES Assistant Principal with twenty-five (25) vacation days annually, exclusive of legal holidays. The RES Assistant Principal may carry over a maximum of five (5) unused vacation days with the written approval of the Superintendent, but at no time shall the RES Assistant Principal be eligible for more than thirty (30) days of vacation during any contract year. In the event that school cancellations result in the removal of school vacation days, the RES Assistant Principal will be able to carry over five (5) days plus the number of days impacted. E. In the event of death, unused and accrued vacation pay up to a maximum of thirty (30) days will be paid to the RES Assistant Principal’s estate. F. The RES Assistant Principal shall receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses incurred in the performance of his professional duties upon the submission of valid receipts and the approval of the Superintendent. G The RES Assistant Principal shall receive reimbursement for use of his automobile for professional duties at the current IRS allowable rate. FRINGE BENEFITS AND WORKING CONDITIONS. The parties hereto agree as follows: The following is a list of the benefits provided to The Director of Food Service by the Regional School District 17 Board of Education: A. Holidays: The Director of Food Service is entitled to the following holidays: B. Medical Insurance: All arrangements for The Director of Food Service to participate in group hospital, surgical, and health plans through payroll deduction will be made by The Director of Food Service through the Business Office of Regional School District 17. The District will pay eighty percent (78%) of the cost of the current or subsequently modified health plan generally offered to school employees and The Director of Food Service will pay twenty percent (22%) of the premium of such plan and will pay co-pays commensurate with the Unaffiliated employee’s health plan. Deductions will be made in equal installments from each paycheck during the year. The Board has the discretion to change insurance carriers or programs at any time provided that the replacement carrier(s) coverage is comparable but not necessarily the same as the existing coverage in benefits and function.

  • Safe Working Conditions The Employer undertakes to maintain office furniture, equipment, etc., in a practical and safe condition in order to avoid injury to employees or damage to their attire. Employees, for their part and in their own interest, are expected to advise the Employer of any such potentially injurious equipment.

  • Fringe Benefits and Perquisites During the Employment Term, the Executive shall be entitled to fringe benefits and perquisites consistent with those provided to similarly situated executives of the Company.

  • Unsafe Working Conditions Employees shall be recognized by the Employer to have the competence to determine what constitutes unsafe working conditions within their discipline. No employee shall be disciplined for refusal to work in a situation which is deemed unsafe beyond the reasonable requirements of the employee's job.

  • Retirement, Welfare and Fringe Benefits During the Period of Employment, the Executive shall be entitled to participate in all employee pension and welfare benefit plans and programs, and fringe benefit plans and programs, made available by the Company to the Company’s employees generally, in accordance with the eligibility and participation provisions of such plans and as such plans or programs may be in effect from time to time.

  • SAFETY CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT A. The District and its employees shall be safety conscious in their conduct and actions and shall cooperate in the implementation of the District's safety program. B. Employees shall report any unsafe or unhealthy conditions directly to their supervisor. The District shall conduct investigations of employee reports and take appropriate measures as soon as possible. The employee shall be informed by the principal or designee of the results of the investigation and of whatever action is to be taken. Safety violations will be corrected within ten (10) working days whenever possible. C. Teachers shall not be required to work under unsafe conditions or to perform tasks which endanger their health and safety. D. First aid supplies and first aid treatment shall be available to employees at each school site. A first aid kit shall be provided for each District vehicle used to transport pupils and shall be taken on all field trips. E. Personal protection equipment required by an employee's job duties shall be available from the principal or designee at each school site. F. An employee shall immediately report any assaults in connection with his/her employment to the principal or immediate supervisor who shall report the incident to the appropriate law enforcement agency and the District Office. 1. An employee may exercise the same degree of physical control over a pupil that a parent would be legally privileged to exercise, but which in no event shall exceed the amount of physical control reasonably necessary to maintain order, protect property, or protect the health and safety of pupils. 2. An employee shall receive applicable insurance and leave benefits for any injury incurred under the provisions of this Paragraph. 3. Employees shall be reimbursed for damage to personal property resulting from assault under the provisions of this Paragraph. 4. When the continued presence of a pupil in a class represents a physical danger to a teacher, the teacher may request that the principal institute suspension procedures in accordance with District policy. 5. The District's "Student Discipline Policy" shall be made available to employees.

  • In-Kind Benefits and Reimbursements Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, all (A) reimbursements and (B) in-kind benefits provided under this Agreement shall be made or provided in accordance with the requirements of Section 409A of the Code, including, where applicable, the requirement that (w) any reimbursement is for expenses incurred during the Executive’s lifetime (or during a shorter period of time specified in this Agreement); (x) the amount of expenses eligible for reimbursement, or in kind benefits provided, during a calendar year may not affect the expenses eligible for reimbursement, or in kind benefits to be provided, in any other calendar year; (y) the reimbursement of an eligible expense will be made no later than the last day of the calendar year following the year in which the expense is incurred; and (z) the right to reimbursement or in kind benefits is not subject to liquidation or exchange for another benefit.

  • Benefits and Vacation The Executive shall be eligible to participate in such insurance programs (health, disability or life) or such other health, dental, retirement or similar employee benefits programs as the Board may approve, on a basis comparable to that available to other officers and executive employees of the Company. The Executive shall be entitled to a minimum of three (3) weeks of paid vacation per year. Vacation time may be accumulated for up to one year beyond the year for which it is accrued and may be used any time during such year. Any vacation time not used during such additional year shall be forfeited. The value of any accrued but unused and unforfeited vacation time shall be paid in cash to the Executive upon termination of Executive's employment for any reason.
