Full-time work. Must the worker spend all of his or her time on your job? (Independent contractors choose when and where they will work.)
Full-time work.
7.1.1 A regular full-time work schedule is 80 hours of work within a bi-weekly pay period of 14 consecutive calendar days.
7.1.2 A regular full-time work day is eight (8) hours of work commencing with the start of the work shift.
7.1.3 Full-time employees may request an alternative work schedule in accordance with Article 7.8. Alternative work schedules of general application may be established by mutual agreement between the Union and the Library.
7.1.4 Regular full-time employees, with approval from their Division Manager and to meet operational needs, may work up to 10 hours a day, in accordance with Articles 7.4.2, 7.4.3, 7.8.2 and 7.8.4.
Full-time work. The Employee will de- vote his or her full productive time, ability and attention and his or her best efforts to the business of the Company, except to the extent otherwise authorized in writing by the Company.
Full-time work. An employee not specifically engaged on a part-time, fixed term or casual basis is for all purposes of this Agreement a full-time employee.
Full-time work. Part-time employees who desire assignment to full-time work shall notify the Employer and the Union in writing. Part-time employee's desire for full-time work shall be renewed every six (6) months. When a full-time vacancy occurs, the Employer shall, by classification and seniority, give full consideration to the part-time employees who have indicated their desire to assignment to full-time work in accordance with this Section.
Full-time work. 7.1 During the term of the Expatriate Agreement, you will observe the work schedule in effect at your place of assignment. Normal working hours of your employment will be at least 40 hours per week. From time to time, you may be required by the Company or by the nature of the work assigned to you to work beyond these normal working hours or overtime as may be necessary and reasonable in the proper performance of your duties. As a managerial employee who is authorised or delegated by the Company to hire employees, give other benefits to employees, reduce other employees’ wages, or terminate other employees’ employment, you are not subject to the Austrian Working Hours Act (sec. 1 para 2 subpara 8 of the Austrian Working Hours Act,” Arbeitszeitgesetz”) and thus not entitled to any extra pay or remuneration for working beyond normal working hours or overtime. You should make yourself available to the Company at any time if the demands of the business so require.
7.2 Except as otherwise provided in the Expatriate Agreement during the term of the expatriate assignment and such other perquisites as are in place for other similarly situated executives, you are not entitled to any pay, perquisites, or benefits other than as set forth above or as regulated in the agreement in place between you and the Company for your participation in the Company’s pension fund scheme (Pensionskassenzusage), or the agreements reflecting outstanding long-term incentive awards granted to you under the applicable long-term incentive plans, all of which shall continue to apply unchanged.
Full-time work. All full-time employees within the bargaining unit shall have a normal work week of forty (40) hours, Monday through Friday. The normal work day for all full-time employees shall be eight (8) hours of work commencing with the start of the work shift.
Full-time work. If any part-time Employee subsequently becomes a regular full-time Employee, they shall be considered a newly hired full-time Employee. Company seniority will be used for vacations and holidays. Part-time and combo (25.11) full-time employees by Company seniority shall be given the opportunity to fill full-time jobs in a higher classification before hiring from the outside on a 6 for 1 basis (6 inside to, every 1 outside hire) except during the third full week of October through January 15th. The above 6 for 1 rule does not apply to the full-time jobs created under the provisions of the Local 710 U.P.S. Air Agreement. Qualified part-time and combo (25.11) full-time employees who seek full time work will be offered permanent vacancies and new permanent jobs by building based on seniority, except during the third full week of October through January 15th. Part-time and combo (25.11) full-time Employees must meet the same requirements as a person hired off the street. Part-time and combo (25.11) full-time Employees that go to full-time jobs will be probationary Employees. These Employees will retain all current benefits, holidays, and vacation pay until they gain full-time seniority in the new job, (the same will apply in reverse when going from full- time to part-time). If the Company disqualifies the part-timer in the first thirty (30) working days, the Employee shall not be eligible to try again for one year from the date of disqualification. If a part-time employee is to be disqualified for their involvement in an accident, the disqualification shall occur at the time the accident investigation has been completed. If the part-time or combo (25.11) full-time Employee disqualifies themselves in the first thirty (30) working days, the Employee shall not be eligible again for eighteen (18) months.
Full-time work. You acknowledge that you should devote your time to work for the Company and shall accept no other work, for which compensation (whether in the form of cash or otherwise) is received, without prior approval of the Company. Your normal working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, with an hour break for lunch. You should, however, make yourself available at other times if the demands of the business so require. You are not entitled to any overtime payment for any additional hours worked.
