JOB CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. Section 1. By this reference, the job classifications, wage rates and progressions set forth in Appendix "A" are incorporated herein and made a part of this Agreement. Section 2. These job classifications, as well as the related wage schedules, shall remain in effect during the term of this Agreement. New classifications may be added as the needs of the Employer may dictate. The re-evaluation of a job classification, including a change in Hay point value, without a change in major duties or responsibilities, shall not be considered to be a new classification, or result in its removal from the bargaining unit. Section 3. In the interest of effective communication, the Employer agrees to confer with the Union prior to the establishment of new classifications in the bargaining unit. The Employer also agrees to notify the Union of any changes in Hay Point values of any job classifications included in Appendix A. Section 4. Employees will be furnished with a copy of the job description covering the job classification to which he/she is assigned.

JOB CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. 21.01 Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with Schedule “A” which is attached to the Collective Agreement and forms part of it. 21.02 The Employer will recognize recent related experience for the purpose of wage progression for the RN and RPN classifications, such that 1950 hours of related experience shall equal one year of service. Employees are required to provide proof of experience within thirty (30) days of hire. Any recognition will not apply until such time as the employee provides satisfactory proof.

JOB CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. 17.1 There shall be two job classifications; namely, locomotive engineer and switch person. TTR will make this payment in each year of the Agreement. If the entire work force completes a full calendar year without an incident caused by human error and which results in damages over seven thousand five hundred dollars ($7,500) or more, TTR will pay each employee who is in the bargaining unit will be paid one thousand dollars ($1,000). These payments will be prorated for those employees who commence employment after January of each year of this Agreement, based on the months employed during that calendar year. 17.4 Employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 1330-2129 shall receive a shift differential of seventy-five cents (0.75¢) per hour, and employees whose regularly assigned shifts commence between 2130-0529 shall receive a shift differential of one dollar ($1.00) per hour.

Employees promoted to a higher job classification will be placed on the first step of the new classification or at a step in the new classification of five (5%) percent above their current rate, whichever is greater, providing it does not exceed the maximum of the new pay range. If an employee is promoted or demoted during the term of this Agreement, regardless of his/her date of hire or rehire the effective date will now become the employee’s anniversary date. Employees will advance annually through the fourteen steps on their anniversary date unless they receive an overall performance rating of less than 3.0 Section 2. JOB CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. 12:01 Schedule "A" attached hereto, shows the classification and wages of the employees within the Bargaining Unit with effect from the dates set out therein. The Parties agree that the said Schedule and contents thereof shall constitute part of this Agreement. It is further agreed that if any new classification within the scope of the certificate of certification are created during the lifetime of this Agreement, wage rates for such classification shall be negotiated between the Employer and the Union not later than fourteen (14) calendar days after the Employer establishes any such classification. Should the Parties fail to agree on the wage rates for such classification the matter may be referred to a Board of Arbitration by either party, and the salary shall be retroactive to the time the position was first filled. 12:02 A job classification will not be changed for the purpose of evading payment of the minimum rates hereinafter set out.

JOB CLASSIFICATION AND WAGES. (a) Employees shall be classified and paid in accordance with the established rate ranges set forth in the Rate and Classification Table attached as Schedule "A", such changes in compensation to be effective as herein set forth. (b) The rate and compensation for each employee shall be determined by the employee's seniority date, as defined in Article 25.
