Maternity Pay. (a) Payments for employees who have less than 1 year’s continuous local government service at the beginning of the 11th week before the EWC shall be the employee’s entitlement to Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), where eligible.
Maternity Pay. The first two (2) weeks of maternity leave granted under Article 7.5 shall be with full pay and benefits.
Maternity Pay. An employee shall, at the option of the employee, be entitled to sick pay for the maternity of the employee's spouse. The employee shall be entitled to take up to ten (10) 8-hour days or four (4) 24-hour tours of duty from accrued sick pay for the purpose of staying home to assist the employee's family at the time of the employee's spouse's delivery. It is the parties' express intent that this section shall not be applied or interpreted in such a manner as to cause or constitute a violation of any law, specifically including PL103-3, known as the Family and Medical Leave Act of 1993, provided, however, that any remedy for violation of this act shall be as set forth in the Act.
Maternity Pay a) Female Command Officers shall, at the option of the Command Officer, be entitled to sick pay for maternity to the extent of the total accumulated days to the credit of the Command Officer. In the event the Command Officer does not elect pay under this Section or if the Command Officer has used all of the sick pay to which she is entitled then the Command Officer shall be placed on Leave without Pay as provided in Section 2109.41

Maternity Pay. Statutory maternity pay (SMP) is payable for up to 39 weeks provided the employee has at least 26 weeks’ continuous employment with the employer at the end of the qualifying week (the end of the 15th week before the EWC) and their average earnings are not less than the lower earnings limit set by the government each tax year. The first six weeks SMP are paid at 90% of their average earnings and the remaining 33 weeks are at a rate set by the government each year. To claim SMP the employee must give 28 days’ notice in writing of their absence on maternity grounds and they must give the original Mat B1 Form, not a photocopy, to their employer. They can only receive SMP once they have stopped work.
Maternity Pay. (a) Payments for employees who have less than 1 year’s continuous local government service at the beginning of the 11th week before the EWC shall be the employee’s entitlement to Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP), where eligible.
(b) Payments for employees who have completed 1 year’s continuous local government service at the 11th week before the EWC shall be as follows:-
(i) For the first six weeks of absence an employee shall be entitled to nine-tenths of a week’s pay offset against payments made by way of SMP or Maternity Allowance (MA) for employees not eligible for SMP.
(ii) An employee who declares in writing that she intends to return to work will for the subsequent 12 weeks’ absence receive half a week’s pay plus SMP, where eligible, without deduction except by the extent to which the combined pay and SMP (or MA and any dependant’s allowances if the employee is not eligible for SMP) exceeds full pay. Alternatively, the equivalent amount (i.e. 6 weeks’ pay) may be paid on any other mutually agreed distribution. For the remainder of the maternity leave period the employee will receive their entitlement to SMP currently 39 weeks in total), where eligible.
(iii) For employees not intending to return to work payments during their maternity leave period following the first 6 weeks will be their entitlement to SMP (currently 39 weeks in total), where eligible.
(iv) Payments made by the authority during maternity leave under (ii) above shall be made on the understanding that the employee will return to local authority employment for a period of at least three months, which may be varied by the local authority on good cause being shown and, in the event of her not doing so, she shall refund the monies paid, or such part thereof, if any, as the authority may decide. Payments made to the employee by way of SMP are not refundable.
Maternity Pay. 11.6.5.1 Payments for employees who have completed 30 weeks' continuous local government service at the EWC shall be as follows:
Maternity Pay. 8.1 The Player will be entitled to be paid two-thirds of her contractual salary during her maternity leave or if the Player qualifies for Statutory maternity pay (SMP), she will be paid SMP, whichever is higher.
Maternity Pay. 9.4. An employee with less than 26 weeks’ continuous service at the beginning of the 15th week before the EWC will have no entitlement to maternity pay. She may, however, be entitled to Maternity Allowance payable through the Department of Work and Pensions.
