MISCELLANEOUS FLYING. A. Flight Attendants may not fly commercially outside the Company.
B. The Company will not transfer any Company aircraft to, or schedule any Flight Attendant to fly any trips for, airlines that are on strike unless mutually agreed to by the Company and the Union.
C. The Company will not transfer aircraft to a subsidiary or alter-ego for the purpose of avoiding the terms of this Agreement.
MISCELLANEOUS FLYING. Definitions: NEGATIVE BID PERIOD REPORT A report indicating that no revenue flying was performed by pilots other than line pilots during a particular bid period.
MISCELLANEOUS FLYING. A. Captains and First Officers shall be paid in accordance with the rates set forth in the Agreement on all flights.
B. Pilots may not fly commercially outside the Company so as to reduce the number of available flight hours per month as agreed herein or as stated in applicable FAA regulations except for flying associated with military reserve or guard duties.
C. The Company will not transfer any Company aircraft or schedule any pilot(s) to fly any trips for airlines that are on strike unless mutually agreed to by the Company and the Union.
D. A rental car will be provided to any pilot away from his domicile and off duty for a calendar day.
MISCELLANEOUS FLYING. A. If at Company request, a pilot flies in a status lower than his bid status; such pilot shall be paid in accordance with his bid status.
B. Pilots will not be required to conduct engine-out ferries. Additionally, pilots will not be required to conduct gear down ferries unless it has been determined that the gear would be “retractable” in the event of an in-flight emergency which could occur during the ferry flight.
C. 1. There shall be no dual qualification required of line pilots by the Company.

MISCELLANEOUS FLYING. Irregular Operations A pilot may be removed or displaced from a flight or flights in his block, removed from his monthly assignment and reassigned to another flight or to another block or to reserve duty as outlined below for the purpose of providing relief during irregular operations or as a result of the Company’s training requirements. A pilot affected by the provisions of this Article will be returned to his normal assignment as soon as practicable. Removal From a Block Selection A pilot may be removed from his complete block selection at Company request and assigned to reserve duty or another block on the same equipment and in the same status. A pilot who is assigned to reserve duty will stand reserve only on the calendar days on which he would have been working according to his block. Such reserve days will be designated as being from to midnight, inclusive or as agreed locally. The forty-eight hour designated off-duty periods while on reserve will coincide with the designated off-duty periods of the block from which he was removed. If a pilot is called for duty during such a reserve duty period and is required to operate a flight or flights that extend into what would normally have been days off, reinstatement of time off will be made immediately on return to home base. If the days off cannot be reinstated before the month ends, the pilot will not be required to operate the flight(s). For pay purposes only, a pilot who is removed from his complete block selections as described in and shall be paid for the flights in the block from which he is removed as if they had been flown according to schedule, his actual flying pay, or his minimum guarantee, whichever is the greater. For flight time limitations such pilot will be credited with his accumulated block time or accumulated actual time whichever is the greater.
1 Move-Up A pilot may, due to the needs of the service, be removed from a flight or flights in his block and assigned to another flight or flights. He shall receive flying pay for the actual flying performed or for the flights in his block as if flown according to schedule, whichever is greater. Flight time credit will be in accordance with the flight for which flying pay is applicable regardless of the actual amount of flying performed. Displacement From a Flight or Flights A pilot may be displaced from a flight or flights in his block. MISCELLANEOUS FLYING. A. ENGINE-OUT FERRY FLIGHTS
1. Engine-out ferry flights shall be performed by qualified Crewmembers, including Check Airmen, qualified Crewmembers not covered by this Agreement, or other qualified individuals who have received training to perform engine-out ferry flights.
2. A Crewmember who is not a Check Airmen may decline training for qualification to perform engine-out ferry flights.
3. A Crewmember who has received training to be qualified to perform engine-out ferry flights may not decline an assignment to perform an engine-out ferry flight.
4. A Crewmember who has received training to be qualified to perform engine-out ferry flights may resign such qualification at any time, provided, however, that once an assignment to perform an engine- out ferry flight has been made, the resignation of his qualification will not be effective until that assignment has been completed.
B. MAINTENANCE ACCEPTANCE, NON-ROUTINE FLIGHT OPERATIONS AND FUNCTIONAL CHECK FLIGHTS
1. At the Company's discretion, flights for the purpose of verification or calibration and maintenance acceptance flights that occur during revenue flights, except as provided in subsection B.2, below, may be assigned to qualified Crewmembers, including Check Airmen, or a qualified Crewmember not covered by the Agreement.
2. Maintenance flights that do not occur during revenue flights and Non- Routine Flight Operations and Functional Check Flights, including but not limited to maintenance acceptance flights, where such operations and flights require the use of emergency, abnormal, or non-routine procedures or require any special training to verify performed maintenance shall be flown by:
(a) qualified Crewmembers, Check Airmen or qualified Crewmembers not covered by this Agreement; or
(b) when qualified Crewmembers, Check Airmen or other qualified Crewmembers not covered by the Agreement are not reasonably available, by qualified other individuals.
3. A positioning flight for the delivery of an aircraft to be purchased, sold or leased to or from the Company may be performed by:
(a) qualified Crewmembers, including Check Airmen, qualified Crewmembers not covered by this Agreement; or
(b) when qualified Crewmembers, Check Airmen or other qualified Crewmembers not covered by the Agreement are not reasonably available, by other qualified individuals.
