On Call Provisions. 24.01 A Resident Maintenance Worker who is required to live on-site will have supplied by the Employer, unfurnished living accommodation, heat, water supply, hydro and a standard telephone (excluding personal long distance calls) and one free parking space where available at a monthly rental as follows:
(a) For full-time employees, rent shall be $324.00 per month for the duration of the agreement. Employees who consistently fail to pay their monthly rent may be required by the Employer to have rent payments deducted from regular wages on the first pay day of each month. Reasonable written notice will be provided to the employee.
24.02 A schedule of hours of work shall be posted thirty (30) days in advance, and shall not be changed by the Employer without two weeks notice being given to the employee concerned. This will not apply in the case of emergencies when schedules may be changed without notice. Any changes in the posted schedule requested by the Union, to permit employees to attend to business of the Union or mutual changes of shift between employees shall be allowed with the written consent of the Employer provided that the change does not involve any cost to the Employer and that essential services can be maintained.

24.02 On-Call Premiums
(a) Maintenance Workers who volunteer to be on-call who are scheduled for on call duties will be paid on call premium of $1.40 per hour. Such premium will be paid from completion of their regular scheduled shift to 12:00 midnight.
(b) Maintenance Workers who volunteer to be on-call must carry a communication device provided by the Employer and be readily available to respond for work during the scheduled on-call hours.
On Call Provisions. When an employee is advised by the Band Manager or his designate that he is "on call," that is, immediately available to telephone contact, he shall be paid straight time wages in accordance with the following schedule: Monday to Friday inclusive hours pay per day Saturday, Sunday or Statutory Holidays hours pay per day All hours actually worked by an employee shall be paid at appropriate overtime rates in accordance with the overtime provisions of this Collective Agreement. An employee may leave his employment and return home when an employee has completed the work for which he was called and has notified the Band Manager by telephone that the work is completed. On-call duty shall be equally divided among the employees who are willing and qualified to perform the available work.
On Call Provisions. When an employee is advised that he/she is on call, that is immediately available by telephone contact, paging device, or to attend in person, he/she shall be compensated as follows:
On Call Provisions. Employees required by the Employer to perform stand-by duty will be compensated at the rate of $30.60 effective date of signing per twelve (12) hour shift on standby, provided that the employee is available when called. When an employee does report to work when called, he shall be compensated for transportation costs at the appropriate kilometre rate specified in 25.05(a) to a maximum of eight dollars and fifty cents ($8.50). On Call Provisions. When an Employee is advised that he/she is "on call" that is, immediately available by telephone, contact, radio or paging device, he/she shall be paid straight time wages in accordance with the following schedule: Monday to Friday inclusive two (2) hours pay per day Saturday, Sunday or Holidays four (4) hours pay per day listed in Article 16.01 All hours actually worked by an "on call" Employee shall be paid at overtime rate in accordance with Article 15 of this Agreement. An Employee may leave his/her employment and return home when an Employee has completed the work for which he/she was called. On call duty shall be equally divided among the Employees who are willing and qualified to perform the work.
On Call Provisions. (a) When an employee is advised that he/she is on call they shall receive four (4) hours of accumulated time per day for each day on call. It is agreed that if the on call hours extend over midnight, only one four (4) hour on call payment is owed. Time earned shall be accumulated and taken off based on the following: During the period of November 1st to April 31st time earned can be accumulated and must be taken off prior to October 31st of the following year. During the period of May 1st to October 31st time earned must be taken within fourteen (14) calendar days of the date it is earned. On call compensation outlined in this Article shall be accumulated separately from the time accumulated under Article 13.11.
(b) If an employee who is on call receives a call to report to work the four (4) hours pay per day on call provided for in Article 18.05 (a) as well as all hours in excess of the four (4) hours shall be paid at time and one half (1 ½) their regular wage.
(c) An employee who is on call and is called in to perform snow removal shall receive accumulated time at time and one half (1 ½) from the time they report to work. An employee may leave his/her employment and return home when an employee has completed the work for which he/she was called. On call duty shall be equally divided among the employees who are willing and qualified to perform the work available. The Employer shall assume the costs of a cellular phone and spare battery (or suitable paging device) for the employee who is on call.
On Call Provisions. When an employee is advised by the President that he or she is "on-call", that is, immediately available by telephone contact, he or she shall be paid at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times his or her regular rate of pay in accordance with the following schedule: Monday to Friday inclusive (2 hours per day minimum) Saturday and Sunday (2 hours per day minimum) Holidays listed in Art. 17 (5 hours per day minimum)
On Call Provisions. An employee who is “on call” shall be immediately available by telephone contact. The Employer shall provide a pager to the employee on call. Roads and Cemetery employees shall be on call for one (1) week at a time on an equitable basis and shall receive three (3) hours pay at his/her regular rate for the week on call. Water and Sewer employees on call shall be paid two (2) hours pay at his/her regular rate on Saturday and two (2) hours pay at his/her regular rate on Sunday.
On Call Provisions. The Employer and the Union agree that should the Employer require on call employees, the parties shall meet to discuss on call provisions. Should the parties not agree to on call provisions, the matter will be referred to arbitration by either party, within 30 days. For purposes of establishing the starting rate of pay for a newly-hired Licensed Practical Nurse, the parties agree that the Employer may recognize an applicant’s appropriately documented recent prior accumulated experience, provided that such experience is current and there has not been a lapse of more than three years since the applicant’s most recent employment as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Where the Employer, at its discretion, recognizes an applicant’s prior experience, the applicant may be placed on the published wage grid at a rate of pay higher than the prevailing start rate.
