Overnight Meal Allowance. Per diem overnight meal allowance(s) will be provided when employees are required by the Company to be away from their home base 24 consecutive hours or more. The overnight meal allowance is intended to provide meal allowances for such meals that normally occur during clock hours. It is the intention of this section that employees will have eaten a meal at their own expense before they report to work and the 24 consecutive hour period will commence at their starting time. Employees will be provided with a per diem overnight meal allowance of $43.29 for every completed consecutive 24 hour period they are required by the Company to be away from the Plant (home base). If the time of the employees return to the plant does not coincide with the expiration of the above stated completed 24 hour period, or the final completed 24 hour period, employees will be paid additional meal allowance(s) of $6.56 for every completed four and one- half (4-1/2) hour period following the completion of the above stated twenty-four
