Paid Paternity Leave. A regular full-time employee who is a natural or adoptive father or non- child bearing parent is entitled to five (5) days of paid paternity leave associated with a birth or adoption. Such leave will normally be taken within thirty (30) days of the birth or adoption.
Paid Paternity Leave. A unit member may use up to 6 weeks of accumulated sick leave immediately following the birth of the said child.
Paid Paternity Leave an eligible employee is entitled to one weeks paid paternity leave in any one year at ordinary pay which must commence within four (4) weeks of the birth of the child. An employee is required to give ten (10) weeks written notice of the intention to take leave and shall provide other notice consistent with the Act, the entitlement provided under the heading Paid Maternity Leave will apply in circumstances where the father is the primary care giver of a child, subject to the requirements of the Scheme.
Paid Paternity Leave a) Employees shall be entitled to one (1) weeks paid paternity leave on the birth of an employee’s first child.
b) Paid paternity leave will be based on an employee’s rate of pay at the time the leave is taken.
Paid Paternity Leave. An employee whose partner is pregnant can be granted a maximum of 2 weeks paid leave for the purpose of being in attendance for the child’s birth and assisting in the home with family responsibilities. Half the leave shall be deducted from the employee's available sick leave entitlements.
6.4.14.1 Paid Paternity Leave is in addition to any paid leave the employee may wish to be granted, for example, annual leave, long service leave.
6.4.14.2 To qualify for the leave the employee shall:
(i) be an employee of Council with at least 12 months continuous service, and
(ii) produce a medical certificate from a legally qualified medical practitioner stating that the employee’s partner is pregnant and the expected date of confinement
Paid Paternity Leave. Paid paternity leave of one week. To be eligible the applicant must have: • at least 1 year’s continuous service at the time of commencing paternity leave. • be entitled as a condition of their employment to paid personal leave.
Paid Paternity Leave. An employee who is not the primary care giver shall on the birth of a child receive 2 weeks paid leave.
Paid Paternity Leave. One week's pay for a full time Employee and paid on pro-rata basis to a part- time Employee. To be taken within a week of the birth/adoption of the child. Once the payment has been paid, the Employer will not require the repayment of the money should there be any unforeseen problems with the birth, or adoption, of the child.
Paid Paternity Leave. An Employee will be entitled to leave with full pay for five days. The paid period of leave provided under this clause (34.13) forms part of/is included in the total 52 week period as provided in clause 34.8.
Paid Paternity Leave. Any faculty member who becomes a father by birth shall be entitled to two (2) weeks’ paid paternity leave, beginning on the date of the child’s birth. For faculty members eligible for unpaid parental leave, paid paternity leave runs concurrently with unpaid parental leave. Faculty members are eligible for either paid maternity leave or paid paternity /adoption leave, but not both.
