Part Time Associates. In order to qualify for general holiday pay, a part-time associate must have been employed thirty (30) calendar days with the Company and not have been voluntarily absent on their scheduled work day, prior to and following the holiday. They must have worked the full, regular, designated weekly hours in the week of the holiday, except for bona fide illness. Associates granted leave of absence will not qualify for general holiday pay.
Part Time Associates. (a) Part time Associates will be employed to work an agreed amount of ordinary hours per four week cycle. (b) These ordinary hours will be between a minimum of 36 ordinary hours and up to a maximum 144 ordinary hours per four week cycle.‌ (c) Where necessary BIG W retain the right to reduce a Part Time Associates ordinary hours:‌ (i) by up to 20% per anniversary year; or (ii) in line with the Termination Change and Redundancy provision; or (iii) if the Associate requests to the change and BIG W agree to the request; or (iv) if the Associate agrees to the change. (v) Associates shall be given four weeks notice of any reduction in their ordinary hours unless they mutually agree otherwise. Under no circumstances can a reduction in ordinary hours go below the specified minimum of 36 ordinary hours per four week cycle. (vi) Part time Associates who have had their hours reduced will receive preference to increase their hours if extra hours are available. (d) On commencement of employment or change of roster Part Time Associates will be advised of:‌ (i) their ordinary hours of work per four week cycle (ii) the days of the week that such ordinary hours are to be performed and their daily starting and finishing times
Part Time Associates. (a) The Employer may schedule a maximum of twenty percent (20%) of the total number of bargaining unit positions as part-time Associates. A part-time position is defined as a schedule of four (4) or fewer eight (8) hour shifts per week or three (3) or fewer ten (10) hour shifts per week or five (5) or fewer shifts per week of less than eight (8) hours but not less than four (4) hours, only for the classifications set forth in 4.02(b) below. (b) Part Time Associates in the following classifications do not count toward the twenty percent (20%) part time calculation and may be scheduled and/or permitted to work shifts of any length between four (4) and ten (10) hours:
Part Time Associates a) Part-time associates are those who normally work 24 hours per week or less. The parties agree that there is the need for operational flexibility that may require part-time associates to work more than 24 hours per week to cover off vacation, illness, seasonal and/or other peak periods. Part time can be scheduled as required. b) No part-time associates shall work when a full-time associate is laid off. c) Unforeseen overtime, full time associates on shift shall be offered the overtime first and then offered to part time associates. d) Part-time associates shall only have seniority rights among themselves but not as vis-à-vis full-time associates. They shall be called into work by part-time seniority provided they have the availability, skill and ability to perform the work required. e) Part time associates shall be offered full-time positions in order of part-time seniority provided they have the skill and ability. f) Part time associates shall be paid overtime consistent with the Collective Agreement. g) Part time associates shall pay Union dues consistent with the Local Union by-laws. h) Part-time associates will accrue vacation pay at the rate of four vacation (4%) of their total earnings received by the Company during the previous calendar year and the accrued vacation pay will be paid out in a lump sum payment, less applicable statutory deductions. i) Part time associates will be paid Statutory Holiday pay in accordance with applicable legislation. j) All part time associates to submit availability twice per calendar year – by March 1st and by September 1st.
Part Time Associates. (i) The ordinary hours of work for Part Time Associates will be varied in accordance with the operational needs of the Hotel and will be less than 76 hours per fortnight over a 2 week roster, unless a greater averaging period is agreed in writing. Part Time Associates will work a minimum of 20 hours per fortnight, or equivalent ratio if using a greater averaging period, and will work a minimum of 2 hours per shift. (ii) During the roster cycle, Part Time Associates may be required to work additional ordinary hours at the ordinary rate of pay. The additional hours may be worked as either an extension to a rostered shift or as additional day(s) of work where there is mutual agreement for such hours. (iii) Part Time Associates receive the entitlements of a Full Time Associate on a pro-rata basis as to their hours of work.
Part Time Associates. Part-time associates must meet a quota of one thousand and three hundred (1,300) billable hours per year.

Permanent part-time employees in permanent full-time positions will be treated as permanent part-time for purposes of this Article. (2) Employees paid on a fixed partial monthly basis shall have all extra hours worked over the regular part-time schedule paid at the hourly rate. Employees paid on a fixed partial monthly basis who work less than the regular part-time schedule shall have time deducted at the hourly rate.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee A regular part-time employee is an employee hired to fill a posted part-time position and is regularly pre-scheduled to work.

  • PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.

  • Regular Part-Time Employees A regular part-time employee is one who works less than full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular part-time employees accumulate seniority on an hourly basis and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement. Regular part-time employees shall receive the same perquisites, on a proportionate basis, as granted regular full-time employees.

  • Part-Time Benefits time employee shall receive in lieu of all fringe benefits (being those benefits to an employee, paid in whole or in part by the hospitals, as part of direct compensation or otherwise, including holiday pay, save and except salary, vacation pay, standby pay, call-in pay, responsibility pay, jury and witness duty, bereavement leave, and pregnancy and parental supplemental unemployment benefits) an amount equal to 14% of his regular straight time hourly rate for all straight time hours paid. For part-time employees who are members of the Hospital's pension plan the percentage in lieu of fringe benefits is twelve percent (12%).

  • Overtime for Part-Time Employees ‌ (a) A part-time employee working less than the normal hours per day of a full-time employee, and who is required to work longer than their regular workday, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the hours so worked, up to and including the normal hours in the workday of a full-time employee. (b) A part-time employee working less than the normal days per week of a full-time employee, and who is required to work other than their regularly scheduled workdays, shall be paid at the rate of straight-time for the days so worked up to and including the normal workdays in the workweek of a full-time employee. (c) Overtime rates shall apply to hours worked in excess of (a) and (b) above.
