Use of Personal Devices. If any livestream authorized pursuant to this policy utilizes a personal mobile device, the District’s mobile device policies apply and are incorporated herein by reference. The Board directs that public livestreams of school district events be as accessible as reasonably feasible for individuals with disabilities as for non-disabled members of the public. Such a system would ensure as the user I was not saving files locally to my own device and breaching data security A ‘monitorable system’ would be one such as our remote desktop server. Through our remote desktop server, any school documents accessed on a personal device are never actually on the computer being used, they remain on the school server. When the user logs-out of our remote desktop server, there are no copies left on their own device. Use of Personal Devices. In the course of remote teaching, staff will not be expected to give out personal telephone numbers. Staff will be responsible for contacting students by phone when this is necessary, including through the use of TalkingPoints for text messaging as provided by BPS.
