Pay Levels. The rate of each pay level will move by the amount of the negotiated annual increase. The start rate and step increase(s) for each pay level have an identified minimum and maximum, once a person has reached the maximum no further increase will occur within that Pay Level except as indicated under Article 17.
Pay Levels. When a part-time employee is the successful applicant for a full-time position, the employee shall be paid the commencement rate for the new classification. If the full-time position is in the employee’s previous part-time classifications, the employees shall maintain his/her rate of pay. When a full-time employee posts into and is the successful applicant for a part-time position, the employee shall be placed at his/her current grid position (Commencement, A, B, C,) and paid at the corresponding grid position for the new classification, to a maximum of what is being currently paid for that classification. When a part-time employee, who was previously a full-time employee is a successful applicant for a position in the previous full-time classification, the employee shall be paid the rate of pay that reflects the employee’s full seniority and years of continuous service. When a part-time Direct Support Professional posts into a full-time Direct Support Professional classification and has the recognized classification factor, he/she shall advance to the Commencement rate of Direct Support Professional (ii) or the employee’s present rate of pay, whichever is greater.
Pay Levels. Every employee shall be assigned a pay level at the time of hire based on the requirements, minimum qualifications and nature of work needed by the Employer. Each employee shall commence at the start rate (12 months) shown on Appendix "A" for the pay level assigned and will receive the permanent rate as per Appendix “A”. An employee who is promoted after twelve (12) months will receive the permanent rate of the classification of the work they are doing. All non-permanent positions including temporary employees, casual employees and name hires will be paid the start rate. If one of those classifications becomes permanent, the employee will remain in the start rate for twelve (12) months before being advanced to the permanent rate.
Pay Levels. Effective July 1, 2000, progression through the levels will be governed by the following:
1. BA - attainment of a Bachelor’s Degree or less.
2. BA + 20 - degreed teachers with attainment of at least a bachelor’s degree and twenty (20) additional quarter hours but less than a Masters Degree, or non-degreed vocational teachers who have completed an approved pre- and in-service education program and at least three (3) years of vocational teaching experience, or who have obtained a five (5) year Professional License or four (4) year provisional certificate in the area they are teaching.
3. MA - attainment of at least a Master’s Degree but less than a Master’s Degree and thirty (30) additional post-graduate quarter hours. Non-degreed Vocational Teachers shall be moved to the Master’s Schedule after they have obtained the Eight (8) year Professional Vocational Certificate in the area they are teaching. Those individuals who currently hold a four (4) year teaching certificate or who have obtained a five (5) year Professional License, in the area they are teaching, three (3) years teaching experience, and forty-five (45) quarter hours after attainment of the license/certificate shall also be moved to the Master’s Schedule. All such hours or equivalent shall be approved by the LPDC, one-half of which must be course work shown on a transcript, taken at a college or university.
4. MA + 30 - attainment of at least a Master’s Degree and thirty (30) additional post-graduate quarter hours. Non-degreed trade and vocational teachers who have met the requirements and have been placed on the Master’s Schedule, shall be moved to the MA+30 column upon attainment of an additional subsequent thirty (30) quarter hours. All such hours or equivalent shall be approved by the LPDC, one half of which must be course work shown on a transcript, taken at a college or university.
5. Each employee will advance to the next training column upon satisfactory completion of the proper educational requirements and the salary advancement will be reflected in the second payroll after proper notification to the employing agency.

27.02 The attached Pay Level Classification Schedule shall be updated by the Employer on a quarterly basis, and shall be presented to the Union and posted on all bulletin boards. The Pay Level Classification Schedule shall form part of this Agreement. However, this inclusion shall not interfere with the Employers rights to add, modify, re-rate or delete classifications in accordance with its business requirements or the mandate of the Joint Job Evaluation and Compensation Committee.
27.03 Should the Employer experience difficulty recruiting employees for any position due to the rates of pay required by the marketplace, the Employer shall pay rates outlined in Appendix “A”. The Union will be notified of positions paid at out of scheduled rates. All incumbents in positions identical to those adjusted due to the market will be moved up to the Out of Schedule wage rate. Increments, if applicable, will be earned in accordance with the schedule of wages. Employees receiving Out of Schedule wage rates will be given nine
Pay Levels. Each flight crew position has a scale consisting of eight (8) levels. The levels allow pay increases for years in each position and correspond to the learning curve when in that position. Pay shall be composed of a base salary and flying bonus comprised of flight and credited flight hours.
