Per Diem Pay. Under the terms of this AGREEMENT, no subsistence, pay for travel time, mileage, or zone rates will be paid to any EMPLOYEE. However, because the TERRITORY is located in a remote location and a considerable distance from populated areas, the EMPLOYER agrees to pay each EMPLOYEE sixty-five dollars ($65.00) per diem payment for each day worked from 06/01/2020 through 05/31/2021; from 06/01/2021 through 05/31/2025 the per diem will raise to seventy-five ($75.00) per day. The per diem payment shall be reviewed by the Executive Committee every two years on the anniversary date of this AGREEMENT. Effective June 01, 2020 through May 31, 2021 individuals who voluntarily ride in Employer furnished transportation will receive $39.00 per day whether riding or driving. June 01, 2021 through May 31, 2025 the rate will raise to $45.00 per day.(Executive Board 04/22/2020) If Contractor transportation is offered the per diem is the same as above per day. (Executive Board 04/22/2020) The per diem payment will be paid in its entirety if the EMPLOYEE is sent home for reason other than termination for just cause. If the EMPLOYEE leaves the project voluntarily of his own accord, then the per diem shall be prorated on hours worked basis. No per diem payment will be paid if EMPLOYEE travels to and from the TERRITORY in EMPLOYER provided transportation during the designated shift hours. The OWNER, because of various reasons, may elect to extend to the construction craftsmen transportation privileges provided by the OWNER'S operating contractor. In the event the OWNER designates a project warrants furnished transportation there will be a five dollar ($5.00) per diem payment made. However, because of time requirements and Health/Safety issues involved in using provided transportation, cafeteria privileges and washroom facilities will also be extended to those construction craftsmen. Until a bona fide bus system is provided, the employee will receive per diem for travel regardless of what the individual rides in. The per diem payment shall be reviewed by the Executive Committee every two years on the anniversary date of this AGREEMENT
Per Diem Pay. Per diem pay shall be at the rate of 1/218. The per diem rate is calculated by subtracting the number of paid vacation days and holidays from 261.
Per Diem Pay. For purposes of docking the salary of an employee and for additional salary compensation, the per diem pay rate the number of workdays (200 days for 10-month employees, 220 days for 11-month employees and 240 days for 12-month employees).
Per Diem Pay. Faculty Members not covered by Sections 5, 6, 7, 8, 13, and 14 of this Article, who are assigned to duties on any day other than the Faculty Members' contracted days, as provided in Section 11.1., will be compensated at the rate of 1/200th of step 5 of scale IV, in the salary schedule for each full day's eight (8) hour assignment. Assignment for less than eight (8) hours will be prorated, but no assignment will be less than four (4) hours.
Per Diem Pay. A. For purposes of docking the salary of an employee and for additional salary compensation, the per diem rate that will be used will be the number of teacher days for ten-month employees and 240 days for twelve-month employees. Per diem salary payments for additional work will only be calculated for areas specifically negotiated as requiring per diem payment. These areas are:
Per Diem Pay. Per diem nurses will be compensated according to the step rate schedule under Article 12 plus fifteen percent (15%). Steps shall be calculated based upon 1664 compensated hours of employment or twelve (12) months, whichever comes last.
Per Diem Pay. An employee shall always receive per diem pay if the additional work involves planning for instruction, delivering instruction, and assessments.
Per Diem Pay. For purposes of docking the salary of a twelve-month employee and for additional salary compensation, the per diem rate that will be used will be 260.
Per Diem Pay. Other than the additional compensation for teachers subject to Article III Sections H, I, J, K, L and M below, members of the bargaining unit who are required, in any school year, to work beyond the number of days established in Article III Section D above, will receive per diem compensation for the additional days, computed on the basis of their regular annual salary.
Per Diem Pay. Per Diem Professionals will be paid according to Appendix B. Upon mutual agreement, the parties may reopen negotiations on these wages at any time.
