Personal Leave Scheduling. Except in emergency situations, members' scheduled Personal Leave may be taken at a time agreeable with the employee and consistent with operational requirements. Vacation schedules shall be bid, and be awarded, by the amount of unused personal leave. The employee with the most Personal Leave on the date of a request, less any previously approved leave but unused, shall be number one for bid purposes. Personal Leave Scheduling. Personal Leave shall be scheduled by the Department Director or his designee, as far in advance as possible, in accordance with the members’ request. The length of service in rank shall take precedence where more than one member requests the same time off. Consideration shall be given to the requirement of maintaining the services the department renders, when approving personal leave requests. Changes in scheduling of personal leave shall only be made with prior approval of the Department Director or his designee.
Personal Leave Scheduling. Personal business days must be requested forty-eight (48) hours in advance, unless the personal business is necessitated due to an emergency situation. The District Director of Central Services, or his/her designee, will review and determine that the emergency qualifies for such use. Personal leave use cannot be used in less than fifteen (15) minute increments.

  • Extended Personal Leave Personal leave without pay not to exceed thirty (30) 26 days may be granted at the discretion of the Superintendent. Personal leave in 27 excess of thirty (30) days shall be subject to approval by the Board.

  • Sick/Personal Leave Leave granted to the teacher for sick, personal or bereavement reasons.

  • Personal Leave of Absence The Administrator may grant a request for leave of absence for personal reasons without pay provided that he receives at least one (1) month's clear notice, in writing, unless impossible, and provided that such leave may be arranged without undue inconvenience to the normal operations of the Nursing Home. Employees when applying for such leave shall indicate the proposed date of departure and return. Such leave shall not be unreasonably withheld.
