Physical Environment. The certificateholder agrees to take due care to maintain a physical environment (levels of temperature, humidity, dust) in keeping with the recommendations of the manufacturer of the property.
Physical Environment. 1. The preservation of safe, wholesome and pleasant surroundings is a paramount concern of both the Board and the Association. There shall be a continued alertness by the Board and the teachers to prevent hazardous conditions at all times in all buildings. The arrangement of furnishings in the classroom shall be for the optimum educational setting as determined by the teacher subject to the approval of the principal.
2. To the extent feasible in existing buildings and in designing new buildings and rehabilitating existing buildings, the Board will provide in each school building:
a. Lounges, conference rooms and lavatories, appropriately furnished and maintained shall be conveniently available for the professional staff. The lounge and conference room facilities will not be used for regularly scheduled meetings without prior consultation with the building faculty.
b. A teacher workroom and storage space of suitable size and location containing adequate equipment and supplies to meet the needs of teachers in preparing instructional materials.
c. Each teacher shall be provided with sufficient storage facilities to meet the needs of his/her assignment; the location of such facilities shall be accessible to the teacher without disruption of others.
d. A system whereby teachers can effectively and expeditiously communicate with the main building office in the event of an emergency. The Board or its designated representative agrees to meet and confer with the Association to seek mutually acceptable solutions where these conditions do not prevail.
3. Safe and adequate parking facilities will be maintained and the Board will provide additional parking facilities where needed.
4. Outside telephone lines shall be available for teacher use for professional and/or emergency purposes. All toll and long distance calls must be recorded in the school.
5. The Board recognizes that appropriate textbooks, library reference facilities, maps and globes, laboratory equipment, audio-visual equipment, art supplies, athletic equipment, current periodicals, standard tests, questionnaires and similar instructional materials are the tools of the teaching profession. The Board shall make every effort at all times to keep the schools reasonably and properly equipped with such materials. Physical Environment. The physical environment within which instruction occurs should contribute rather than interfere with the educational process. Within the financial limitations of the district and the facility limitations at each school, principals and staff will work together to provide the best possible environment for teaching and learning. The District's goal is to gain recognition from the Association that it often has limited options in resolving facility problems and has and will make good faith efforts to resolve facility issues. The mechanism for dealing with facility issues will be an EGEA advisory committee which will advise the District of problems and work with the District for resolution.

Contractor shall ensure that Individuals who must be restricted from unsupervised community access due to legal, health or safety considerations have this restriction described in their Service Plan. The IDT will work with the ODHS Designee to develop an Individually Based Limitation, as defined in OAR 000-000-0000.

3. The Board shall make available in each school a lunchroom-lounge and separate lavatory facilities for staff use.
4. Telephone facilities shall be made available to teachers for their reasonable use and in a location most convenient for the majority of teachers.
5. The Board of Education shall make every effort to provide safe and clean buildings. Any known unsafe conditions are to be brought to the attention of the building administrator as soon as possible. The building administrator shall investigate and then initiate corrective action where appropriate to ensure the safety of students and staff as soon as possible. The Board shall notify the staff of any known hazard to their health and safety.
6. The Board agrees to provide adequate storage for musical instruments and to provide carts to help move equipment from room to room.
7. The district shall make arrangements by the first day of school to insure reasonable parking space for teachers who travel to Sacred Heart Academy.
Physical Environment. To protect the health, welfare, and safety of students and teachers, there shall be a continued alertness to prevent hazardous conditions at all times in all buildings. Insofar as possible, lounges, work rooms, and lavatories shall be conveniently available for the professional staff. These facilities will not be used for regularly scheduled meetings without prior consultation with the building faculty. The Board agrees to meet and confer with the Union to seek mutually acceptable solutions where these conditions do not prevail. A pay telephone shall be available for teacher use in each building. Each teacher in a school, whether or not assigned to a specific room, shall have a desk and adequate filing space provided. The Board shall make available in each school, space which shall be reserved as a work area and which shall contain adequate equipment to aid in the preparation of instructional materials. Parking spaces for faculty cars should be designated away from the playground areas.
Physical Environment. Contractor shall ensure that Individuals who must be restricted from unsupervised community access or access to other items or services, due to legal, health or safety considerations, have this restriction outlined in their Behavior Plan and referenced in their Care Plan.
Physical Environment. 1. The Board recognizes that a comfortable physical environment is important to student learning and staff performance. The District will take reasonable steps to provide an appropriate and safe environment. The District shall comply with the Health Life and Safety Code for Illinois Public Schools, 23 Ill. Admin. Code 180. Problems or concerns should be reported promptly to the building administrator. The Building administrator will review the situation and determine what action will be taken in consultation with the teacher. If, after consultations with the teacher, the Building Administrator concludes that temperatures result in unsafe conditions for students and staff, they will be relocated to an alternative location within their building. Each school improvement team will provide a list of alternative locations available at each building.
2. Classrooms will be cleaned daily (floors swept, garbage emptied, and pencil sharpeners emptied).
3. Any employee suspicious of mold contamination shall promptly report areas of concern to their building principal. Areas of any building suspected of mold contamination, as determined by the Administration in consultation and collaboration with the custodial/maintenance staff, will be tested as needed to determine mold levels. If mold levels exceed industry/environmental standards, the District will take appropriate remedial action. Any findings or actions taken shall be reported to the reporting employee and the Association.
4. Each facility will have asbestos inspections twice yearly.
5. All exterior doors will remain locked at appropriate times to maintain the safety of all occupants. Security cameras will be maintained and in working order at all times.
Physical Environment. The University, acting within its discretion, shall use its best efforts to provide faculty members with an appropriate environment for carrying out their duties as teachers and scholars within the resources of the University. This environment normally includes, among other things, clean classrooms, parking at existing fields, adequate lighting, and suitably equipped off-campus classrooms for off-campus programs. Faculty shall be offered training to allow them to operate Moodle or other technological systems.
