Post-Observation Conferences. The evaluator shall meet with the teacher as soon as practical after each observation to share impressions and where necessary to provide a written statement of concern.
Post-Observation Conferences. A. A post-observation conference shall be held within ten (10) workdays after each formal observation and shall be used to inform the teacher/school counselor(s) if observed instructional practices are aligned with the expectations that are identified in the teacher/school counselor(s)’s professional growth or improvement plan.
B. The purpose of the post-observation conference is to provide reflection and feedback on the observed lesson and to identify strategies and resources for the teacher/school counselor(s) to incorporate in lessons to increase effectiveness.
C. The evaluator shall identify areas of reinforcement and refinement which may become part of the teacher/school counselor(s)’s professional development plan.
D. Teacher/school counselor(s)s may bring additional evidence that supports the lesson observed to share with the evaluator at the conference or within five (5) workdays of the post-conference. The evaluator may consider these as evidence of student learning or evidence to support the teacher/school counselor(s)’s performance.
Post-Observation Conferences a. A post-observation conference between the evaluator and teacher will be held no later than five (5) days after the formal observation.
b. The purpose of a post-observation conference is to review the evaluator’s and teacher’s evidence related to the scoring criteria during the observation, and to discuss the teacher’s performance. (WAC 392.191A.130).
c. If there is an area of concern, the evaluator will identify specific concerns for the applicable criteria and provide possible solutions to remedy the concern in writing.
d. The teacher must be given the opportunity to attach written comments to the negotiated form.
Post-Observation Conferences. 1. The post-observation conference between the evaluator and teacher will be held no later than five (5) days after the formal observation date unless otherwise mutually agreed to by the evaluator and the teacher, or unless delayed by the absence of either. Conferences may be held in the teacher’s classroom to facilitate the documentation of artifacts and evidence. The teacher and evaluator will use the draft Observation Report Form (Appendix B-8) and the Post-Observation Conference Tool (Appendix B-7) as the basis for discussion at the conference.
2. The purpose of the post-observation conference is to review the evaluator’s and teacher’s evidence related to the scoring criteria during the observation, and to discuss the teacher’s performance. The teacher shall be entitled to submit additional evidence. The evidence provided by the teacher shall be afforded due consideration by the evaluator in determining the final evaluation score.
3. If there is an area of concern, the evaluator will identify it, in writing, and provide written suggestions to address the concern with support and coaching from the evaluator.
4. Within a maximum of two (2) days of the conclusion of the post-observation conferences, the evaluator will complete the Observation Report Form (Appendix B-8), which both the evaluator and the employee will sign. The evaluator may or may not assign numerical ratings to individual components or criteria, based on the evidence collected by the time the report is prepared. The employee’s signature does not signify agreement. The employee will be provided a copy of the signed form.
5. The teacher may attach written comments to the observation report provided they are submitted within five (5) days of the post-observation conference.
Post-Observation Conferences. 1. Every post-observation conference must occur face-to-face between the certified supervisor conducting the evaluation and the employee who was evaluated for any teacher who receives less than a 3 on an evaulation.
2. The post-observation conference shall include data from the observation and all the evidence that shall be included in the evaluation report.
3. Provision must be made to attach employee responses/objections to the evaluation either physically or electronically, depending on how the evaluation report is stored.

e. The teacher must be given the opportunity to attach written comments to any documentation submitted by an evaluator.
Post-Observation Conferences. 1. Every post-observation conference must occur face-to-face between the certified supervisor conducting the evaluation and the employee who was evaluated.
2. The post-observation conference shall occur within fifteen (15) school working days of the observation.
3. The post-observation conference shall include data from the observation and all the evidence that shall be included in the evaluation report, as well as the draft evaluation report.

2. The teacher may provide additional evidence to aid in the assessment of his or her professional performance against the instructional framework rubric, especially for those criteria not observed in the classroom. The evidence or artifact provided by the teacher shall be considered by the evaluator in determining the final evaluation score.

Observations denoting deficiencies shall be followed within seven (7) workdays by a conference between the evaluator and the teacher in order for questions arising from the observation to be discussed. All observations shall be compiled in writing. A copy of the written observation report shall be given to the teacher at the post-observation conference.

If either party cannot make the scheduled conference, it is that parties’ responsibility to reschedule.
C. The teacher shall be provided the opportunity to submit additional artifacts and evidence to aid in the assessment of the teacher’s professional performance against the instructional framework rubric, especially for those criteria not observed in the classroom. The artifacts and evidence provided by the teacher shall be incorporated on the draft observation form at the post-observation conference. Any additional artifacts and evidence must be provided to the evaluator within five (5) days of the post-observation conference. A final observation report will be sent to the employee within eight (8) days following the post-observation conference.
D. If there is an area of concern, the evaluator will identify, in writing, specific concerns for the applicable criteria and provide specific observable solutions with specific district support and resources to remedy the concern.
E. The teacher may attach written comments to the finalized observation report.
