Pre-arranged Overtime. (a) Where an employee by advance arrangement returns for overtime work before the employee's normal starting time, the employee shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours at time and one-half provided the employee does not continue into the employee's normal work period. The employee will be required to provide and pay for the employee's own transportation when on overtime assignments, except when the overtime worked is immediately after the regular working hours of the employee and the employee was not advised of the overtime prior to the start of the work period.

Pre-arranged Overtime. A regular employee who reports to work for pre-arranged overtime, shall be paid a minimum of three hours at the appropriate overtime rate unless the duration of the work assignment is known in advance by the employee.
Pre-arranged Overtime. An employee required to attend Employer meetings or functions after regular working hours shall be paid at the applicable overtime rate for the time they leave their home until they return home. If the employee is not returning directly home, a fair estimate of time shall be made for the return home and included in the overtime hours. The minimum hours paid for each such meeting or function is three (3) hours.

When an employee is working pre-arranged overtime on a scheduled day off, the employee is eligible for the appropriate Per Diem payment (based on distance to home from the location of the pre-arranged work) if expenses are incurred. Meals will be provided per the meals provision in the MOA. Pre-arranged work will not be considered a change of show-up and does not qualify for mileage reimbursement.

In the event that pre-arranged overtime is cancelled within twenty-four (24) hours of the planned activity start time, the employee that would have conducted the overtime activity shall receive either four (4) hours at time and one-half or an amount equal to the length of the scheduled overtime assignment at time and one-half, whichever is lesser. This will not apply when an employee is asked to work overtime on the same day at the end of his scheduled shift.
Pre-arranged Overtime. When an employee has agreed to work overtime outside of the Ordinary Span of Hours to provide a Council service then the additional time worked shall attract: • OVERTIME attracting a penalty payment of time and a half for time so worked. • A minimum payment of TWO (2) hours. Upon mutual agreement, this time worked may be accrued as TOIL (at time for time) and be taken at a mutually agreed time determined by management as meeting the needs of the work team.

Pre-arranged Overtime. When an employee is given ten (10) hours or more advanced notice of emergency work, work required to meet PUC Performance Measures for the Retail Electric Market, or other work to be performed; or if he/she is informed of such work while on duty or before leaving Crew Headquarters after having been on duty, or after arrival at Crew Headquarters prior to going on duty, such work shall be regarded as pre-arranged overtime. For pre-arranged overtime, an employee shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) times his/her hourly base pay rate and he/she shall be guaranteed a minimum of three (3) hours work at that overtime rate. However, if an employee is required to work immediately before or after his/her regular work period, then only the time in advance of or after the regular work period shall be paid for at the overtime rate and the guaranteed minimum of three (3) hours shall not apply. When assigned to work Pre-arranged overtime, the employee will be given a specific day and time to report. If, after an employee has been assigned Pre-arranged Overtime; and (1) the employee has left Crew Headquarters, or (2) the employee(s) is provided with less than ten (10) hours notice, the employee(s) is notified that the time to report for the Pre-arranged Overtime assignment is moved by more than two (2) hours, the employee will be compensated at the double-time rate for the overtime hours actually worked during that overtime assignment.

  • Banked Overtime In the event the day in lieu of working the statutory holiday is not provided as stipulated in 8.01.04, this portion may also be banked.

  • Prearranged Overtime When, at the request of the supervisor in charge, an employee reports for prearranged work (a) on workdays outside of his regular work hours, he shall be paid overtime compensation for actual work time; (b) on non-workdays or on holidays he shall be paid overtime compensation for actual work time. For the purpose of this section, prearranged work is deemed to be work for which advance notice has been given prior to the end of the employee’s normal work hours on the preceding day.

  • Planned Overtime In making planned overtime assignments the Employer shall first assign overtime on an equal opportunity basis according to each section’s procedure (Schedule E), as agreed to by the parties. Such overtime shall be assigned to employees who are actively on the payroll and who have indicated their willingness to accept overtime assignments according to section procedures and who are:

  • Scheduled Overtime Scheduled overtime is overtime which is assigned by the end of the employee's last worked shift prior to the overtime assignment and which does not immediately precede or immediately follow a scheduled work shift. Unless notified otherwise in advance of the scheduled starting time of the scheduled overtime assignment, any employee who is scheduled to report for work and who reports as scheduled shall be assigned at least two (2) hours work. If work is not available, the employee may be excused from duty and paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate. If the employee begins work but is excused from duty before completing two (2) hours of work, the employee shall be paid for two (2) hours at the employee's appropriate rate.

  • Unscheduled Overtime I. a payment of forty dollars ($40.00) as a meal allowance.

  • Weekly Overtime An Employee required to work in excess of forty (40) hours per week shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half (1 1/2) for the first eight (8) hours of work in excess of the forty (40) hours and double time thereafter.

  • Time Off in Lieu of Overtime Employees who work overtime will not be required to take time off in regular hours to make up for overtime worked. Time off in lieu may be taken on a mutually agreed upon basis between the employee and the Hospital, such time off will be the equivalent of the premium rate the employee has earned for working overtime. The Hospital shall revert to payment of premium rate if time off is not taken within ninety (90) calendar days of the work week in which the overtime was earned or, with the employee’s agreement, within 12 months of that work week.

  • Daily Overtime All employees shall be paid the applicable overtime rate of time and one-half (1-1/2) for all time worked in excess of eight (8) hours per day.

  • Overtime and Premium Pay Section 1. Overtime at the rate of one and one-half (1 1/2) times an employee's regular straight time hourly rate of pay shall be paid for all work over forty (40) hours in one (1) week.
