Pre-Evaluation Conference. During the first four (4) weeks of pupil attendance, the evaluator initiates a pre-evaluation conference with the evaluatee during which time mutual agreement shall be reached on the issues established in Section 14.8.5. The evaluator informs the evaluatee of exact areas of performance which require improvement, and consults with the evaluatee regarding objectives, standards for effective performance, assessment techniques, timelines, support requirements and constraints to be included on the Evaluation Worksheet. If mutual agreement is not reached during the consultation process, the evaluator will establish the objectives, etc., and inform the evaluatee. Objectives, standards, assessment techniques, support requirements and constraints shall be related to the areas marked less than effective on the previous year's evaluation. An evaluation worksheet should be completed (Parts A, B, and C) and signed within fifteen (15) calendar days after the conference.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. 18.5.2.1 By the end of the fifth week of the semester in which the evaluation is to occur, the Unit Member being evaluated shall meet with the Immediate Management Supervisor to plan for the process, review information and materials relevant to the evaluation process, and establish time lines for the classroom/worksite observation and subsequent evaluation conference.
18.5.2.2 During the pre-evaluation conference, the Unit Member shall review, with the Immediate Management Supervisor, information relevant to the selected classroom/worksite observation (e.g., objectives, content, methodology, etc.) and other procedures and criteria which may be utilized in the evaluation.
18.5.2.3 The Unit Member shall make available to the Immediate Management Supervisor samples of materials which bear upon the evaluation (e.g., syllabi, handouts, exams, etc.).
18.5.2.4 The Unit Member may offer information which may affect the context of the evaluation (e.g., class size, nature of the student population, content, level of difficulty, etc.). Such factors shall be taken into consideration by the Immediate Management Supervisor in formulating the evaluation report.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. The unit member being evaluated, and the evaluator shall meet to discuss:
i. The District will choose two California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP’s) as District-wide standards of focus to be rated. The unit member will choose one additional California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP’s) focus to be rated. As noted in a. iii. above, probationary (non-tenured) teachers will be evaluated on all California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTP’s). For those unit members on year three of the 5-year evaluation cycle the standard which addresses lesson planning, currently Standard IV of the evaluation rubric, may not be chosen as the additional standard for evaluation as lesson planning is evaluated through pre-conference which does not take place with an informal evaluation.
ii. Objectives to be achieved during the evaluation period.
iii. Techniques for assessing whether those objectives and standards of performance have been achieved which techniques may include, but are not necessarily limited to, formal evaluations and informal observations, anecdotal records, conferences and the completion of reports by the evaluatee relating to objectives and standards of performance;
iv. A tentative schedule of evaluations, conferences, and a final evaluation date.
v. The unit member is responsible to identify, develop and write acceptable performance objectives which shall be discussed during the conference with the evaluator. Approval of written objectives does not prohibit the administrator from conducting evaluations, observations, or final evaluation assessments on the selected standards for the given year.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. At the request of the employee or employer, a pre-evaluation conference between the evaluator and the employee shall be held to review the expectations of the parties, dates and times for observations, etc.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. The non-tenured faculty member, and upon request, the tenured faculty member, will meet at a pre-evaluation conference with his/her supervising Xxxx prior to the first evaluation during an academic year to review the objectives, methods and materials being used in the formal observation and evaluation of the faculty member's performance.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. A Pre-Evaluation Conference will be held at a time and date mutually agreed to by the evaluator and the school social worker. The counselor or the school social worker and the evaluator shall discuss the specific performance criteria to be used in the evaluation process.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. The direct supervisor will convene a pre-evaluation conference for the instructor, the peer evaluator, and the supervisor prior to the evaluation process beginning.
a. This conference shall be held by October 15 of the evaluation year.
b. The purpose of the conference will be to discuss the standards and procedures upon which the evaluation will be based, to coordinate the peer evaluation and worksite observations, and the timelines for the completion and submission of all reports and other documents.
c. At the pre-evaluation conference, the evaluation team will review these procedures and all forms that will be used. A copy of these procedures and forms are available online.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. (optional for continuing contract faculty) - During the Spring Semester of each academic year the Academic Xxxx/Supervising Administrator may meet with the faculty member to discuss the faculty member’s goals, departmental needs, administrative expectations, and professional development possibilities for the year. The Academic Xxxx/Supervising Administrator may assist the faculty member in determining goals and funding if necessary. A signed copy of the goals will be kept in the department or division office until the Spring Post-Evaluation meeting. The goals may be modified during the academic year with the approval of the Academic Xxxx/Supervising Administrator.
Pre-Evaluation Conference. At the start of the school year, no later than October 15, all non-tenured teachers and tenured teachers who are to be evaluated must have a pre-conference meeting that reviews the following: ⚫ The teacher must have a copy of the “Manual for Teacher Evaluation” ⚫ The teacher must have a copy of the “Collective Bargaining Agreement” (provided by the administration) ⚫ The “Manual for Teacher Evaluation” is to be discussed with the teacher ⚫ The teacher must be given a copy of the Individual Development Plan (IDP) developed cooperatively by the administrator and the teacher
Pre-Evaluation Conference. Either the evaluator or the employee may request a pre-evaluation conference to discuss any areas of mutual concern.
