Pre-Natal Leave. If an Employee is required to attend pre-natal appointments or parenting classes and such appointments or classes are only available or can only be attended during the ordinary rostered shift of an Employee, then on production of satisfactory evidence of attendance at such appointment or class, the Employee may access their carer’s leave credit under this Agreement. The Employee must give the Employer prior notice of the Employee's intention to take such leave.

Pre-Natal Leave. A pregnant Employee will have access to paid leave totalling up to 38 hours per pregnancy to enable the Employee to attend routine medical appointments associated with the pregnancy. The Employer should be flexible enough to allow the Employee the ability to leave work and return on the same day.

(c) The Employee is required to provide a medical certificate from a registered medical practitioner confirming that the Employee or their Spouse is pregnant. Each absence on pre-natal leave must also be covered by a medical certificate. (d) Paid pre-natal leave is not available to any casual Employees.

Pre-Natal Leave. Where an employee is required to attend prenatal appointments or parenting classes that are only available or can only be attended during the ordinary rostered shift of the employee, then the employee on production of satisfactory evidence to this effect may access clause 51.2.5 of their Personal Leave credit for such purpose.
Pre-Natal Leave. 34.1 A full-time or part-time team member who is pregnant, or whose partner is pregnant, may access personal leave for the purpose of attending medical appointments associated with the pregnancy. 34.2 Proof of attendance may be required to be provided to The Reject Shop, as per the relevant leave provisions (i.e. Personal Leave). 34.3 Where possible team members should arrange appointments as close as possible to the beginning or ending of their ordinary working hours. 34.4 The team member is to provide reasonable notice to The Reject Shop of their requirement to take pre-natal leave. 34.5 Personal leave will be deducted from the team member’s accrued entitlement based on the actual time taken to attend each appointment.

Pre-Natal Leave. (a) Where an Employee is required to attend pre-natal appointments or where parenting classes are only available or can only be attended during the Employee’s ordinary hours of work, then the Employee shall be able to access their personal leave credit for such purpose on production of satisfactory evidence to this effect. (b) For the purposes of this clause, “parenting classes” are defined as classes conducted by a recognised health service to inform and assist expectant parents.
Pre-Natal Leave. 8.7.1 This clause applies if you are a full-time or part-time team member who: (a) is pregnant; or (b) is preparing for the placement of an Adopted Child as defined in Appendix A1; or (c) is about to xxxxxx a child; or (d) has a spouse or partner who is pregnant or preparing for the placement of an Adopted Child or about to xxxxxx a child. 8.7.2 You may access your personal/carer’s leave entitlement or unpaid leave for medical appointments associated with pregnancy or medical or other appointments associated with pre-adoption or pre-fostering, as relevant. 8.7.3 Where possible, you should arrange appointments as close as possible to the start or end of your ordinary rostered hours. 8.7.4 You will provide Us with reasonable notice of your requirement to take pre-natal leave. 8.7.5 The actual time taken to attend each appointment will be deducted from your accrued personal leave or carer’s leave entitlement, and it will be paid at the Base Rate of Pay for the hours normally rostered to work. The penalties in clauses 3.3, 4.9.5, 4.5.4 and A3.4 do not apply.
Pre-Natal Leave. A staff member who becomes pregnant is entitled to one (1) day’s leave per month, at full pay, during the final six (6) months of the pregnancy, up to a maximum of six (6) days, to attend appointments associated with her pregnancy, up until the commencement of maternity leave. This leave is not cumulative and any leave not taken in a month cannot be carried over to the following month.
