Public Outreach Assistance. Public outreach conducted by TCE will consist of the following: • Stakeholders Survey – TCE will assist the Steering Committee with the development and analysis of a 10-15 question survey regarding their perceived need for bicycle and pedestrian facilities that will be tailored to stakeholders. • Public Survey - TCE will assist the Steering Committee with the development and analysis of a 10-15 question survey regarding their perceived need for bicycle and pedestrian facilities that will be tailored to the general public for circulation via Front Porch Forum and/or the Town’s website. • Tabling Materials – TCE will create a one-page brochure advertising the Town’s development of a Pedestrian and Bicycle Connectivity Plan. The brochure will provide general information as well as directing viewers to the Town’s website and survey. • Public Feedback – TCE will assist with the creation of a physical interactive map to be used to xxxxxx feedback from the public (eg. Preferred placement of utilities). This tool has been envisioned being used at events such as Farmers’ Markets, and being staffed by Steering Committee members.

Public Outreach Assistance. A. As necessary, assist the City with the preparation of a written notification flyer or letters and/or figures illustrating the proposed area of field work to be performed and distributed to the stakeholders/landowners in the general vicinity of the proposed work. The City will conduct notifications to affected stakeholders, as necessary, prior to conducting all field work (survey, geotechnical subsurface investigations). Task 3Bidding Phase Services 3.1 Bidding Phase Services: A. Prepare for and attend pre-bid meeting. B. Respond to bidder's questions provided by the City. As necessary, CSEI and EDA will assist WP in responding to bidder’s questions. C. Assist the City with preparation and issuance of project addenda. D. The City will conduct an analysis and evaluation of the apparent low bidder’s bid package. E. Conduct an independent evaluation of the apparent low bidder’s bid package and make a recommendation to the City. F. Prepare and issue conformed drawings to the City. As necessary, CSEI and EDA will update and resubmit pertinent drawings. The conformed drawings will also be saved to WP’s SharePoint web site. G. The length of the bidding phase is assumed to be 60 days. H. Deliverables: 1. Three sets of conformed drawings to the Contractor. 2. Three full size and three 11” x 17” sets of conformed drawings and specifications to the City. 3. One electronic flash drive with .pdf and AutoCAD conformed drawings. 4. Post electronic copy of drawings and specifications to WP SharePoint web site. 5. One electronic copy of the review meeting minutes e-mailed to the City.
Public Outreach Assistance. Xxxxxx & Xxxxxxx and its subconsultants will provide assistance to the City during its public outreach efforts. This assistance includes the preparation of technical material and graphic representations to explain project alternatives, constraints, opportunities, recommendations and costs to the public and other interested stakeholders. Attendance at bi-monthly meetings for up to four hours is assumed. The project team will provide architectural renderings of proposed levee improvements from up to 12 view locations in Xxxxxx City. We will also work with the City to position prototypes showing alternative floodwall/levee improvement heights in the field for public viewing. The renderings and prototypes will show existing conditions and alternate finished levee/floodwall elevations based on Council direction for adaptive sea level rise management. Public Outreach Assistance. City staff will lead all community outreach efforts with the public and Planning Commission and City Council. City staff will lead the formation and management of General Plan Update focus groups of key stakeholders formed around specific topics such as housing, mobility, and economic development. City staff will prepare all notices, staff reports, and resolutions. The City will be responsible for preparing and distributing all notices, including the Notice of Completion (NOC) and the Notice of Availability (NOA). The Consultants will support City staff outreach efforts by providing input and advice on outreach materials, staff reports, and strategies to effectively and efficiently engage the public as part of a focused update. The Consultants will have one or more Consultant Team member(s) at all project- related public meetings, focus group meetings, boards and commission meetings, and public hearing sat no additional cost to the City.

  • Educational Assistance Section 1. Tuition reimbursement shall be provided to employees covered by this collective bargaining AGREEMENT under the same terms and conditions, policies and procedures as the rest of Hennepin County and reflecting a county–wide pool for funding. See Hennepin County Tuition Reimbursement Policy Frequently Asked Questions Section 2. Where courses are required and certified by the appointing authority as essential to current job performance, such appointing authority shall grant 100% reimbursement for tuition, required fees and required study materials. Section 3. At the request of an employee, an Individual Development Plan shall be established. Any employee making the request shall be provided with paid time to work with their Supervisor or Human Resources to develop a training plan for career development within Hennepin County. Human Resources will be a source of career information, and postings, in which the employee may have an interest. Time allotted for this activity and the training plan adopted shall be subject to mutual agreement of the Employee and Supervisor.

  • Regulatory Assistance Provider will permit regulators with jurisdiction over BFA or any BFA Recipient to examine Provider’s activities relating to its performance under this Agreement and the Services. Subject to Section 17.6, Provider will cooperate and provide all information reasonably requested by the regulator in connection with any such examination and provide reasonable assistance and access to all equipment, records, and systems requested by the regulator relating to the Services.

  • Emergency Assistance Both Parties shall exercise due diligence to avoid or mitigate an Emergency to the extent practical in accordance with applicable requirements imposed by the Standards Authority or contained in the PJM Tariffs and NYISO Tariffs. In avoiding or mitigating an Emergency, both Parties shall strive to allow for commercial remedies, but if commercial remedies are not successful or practical, the Parties agree to be the suppliers of last resort to maintain reliability on the system. For each hour during which Emergency conditions exist in a Party’s Balancing Authority Area, that Party (while still ensuring operations within applicable Reliability Standards) shall determine what commercial remedies are available and make use of those that are practical and needed to avoid or mitigate the Emergency before any Emergency Energy is scheduled in that hour.

  • Legal Assistance The Board shall give full support including legal and other assistance for any assault upon the employee while properly acting in the discharge of his/her duties.

  • Technical Assistance DFPS may provide informal support, guidance, clarification, and other forms of technical assistance via phone, email, and virtual meeting to resolve Grant or performance compliance issues. Grantee will document all such instances of technical assistance by DFPS in writing, including any implementation work.

  • Mutual Assistance The Parties will do all things reasonably necessary or appropriate to carry out the terms and provisions of this Agreement and to aid and assist each other in carrying out such terms and provisions.

  • Tuition Assistance Bargaining unit employees can enroll in university or college, vocational technical school or extension courses. The course may be by correspondence or attendance at classes during non-working hours or during working hours with approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee. Where practicable, in relation to work requirements, the Employer shall be liberal with the approval of requests for accrued/unused vacation leave, flex-time scheduling, compensatory time, or leave without pay for the purpose of enabling employees to attend classes conducted during an employee's regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Litigation Assistance Except when it would constitute a direct conflict of interest for BA, BA will make itself available to assist CE in any administrative or judicial proceeding by testifying as witness as to an alleged violation of HIPAA, the HITECH Act, the Privacy or Security Rule, or other law relating to security or privacy.

  • Other Assistance Assist SBEs in their efforts to obtain bonds, lines of credit and insurance. (Note that the Agency has a Surety Bond Program that may assist SBEs in obtaining necessary bonding.) The Agency-Assisted Contractor or Contractor(s) shall require no more stringent bond or insurance standards of SBEs than required of other business enterprises.

  • Conditions to Financial Assistance and its Disbursement The Grantor's obligations hereunder, including its obligation to make financial assistance available to the Recipient pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, are contingent upon compliance by the Recipient with the following conditions: A. Recipient's acquisition and commitment of the Local Subdivision Contribution necessary for the completion of the Project, its compliance with all other provisions of this Agreement, and its compliance with the provisions of Chapter 164 of the Revised Code and Chapter 164-1 of the Administrative Code. The Recipient shall set forth in Appendix D of this Agreement a description of the manner or mechanisms of providing its local share of Project funds pursuant to division (D) of Section 164.05 of the Revised Code and Rule 164-1-21 (B)(6) of the Administrative Code. B. Recipient shall execute any and all other documents and certificates as deemed necessary by the Director, subject to the opinion of counsel to the Director, as well as any required by changes in State or Federal Law, on the date hereof or at any time hereafter in connection with the financial assistance and disbursement of moneys pursuant to this Agreement, including any amendments to this Agreement.
