RECORDING ALLOWANCE. ‌ 5.5.1 Where a performance is to be recorded or transmitted by any means, and whether transmitted live or recorded for later transmission, exhibition, distribution or sale, employees who fall within the definition of “Technician” in sub-clause 5.5.4.3 and who perform work on that performance shall receive an allowance (“Recording Allowance”) of $135.70 in addition to the rate they would otherwise have received; provided that: 5.5.1.1 employees will not be entitled to receive the Recording Allowance if the Trust has not given authorisation for the recording or transmission to take place; 5.5.1.2 the Recording Allowance shall only be paid when the recording or transmission takes place during a performance or performances; 5.5.1.3 one payment only will be made under this sub-clause notwithstanding that recording of a production may take place over a number of performances; and 5.5.1.4 where a performance is recorded for sound only or transmitted by radio only, the provisions of clause 5.5.1 shall apply to Sound Technicians only. 5.5.2 The Recording Allowance shall not be payable for; 5.5.2.1 extracts of a performance or performances which are recorded or transmitted for news, publicity or promotional purposes, including paid television or radio commercials for that performance or season of performances; 5.5.2.2 a performance or performances which are recorded for training or archival purposes, provided that the hirer undertakes in writing to the Trust that such recordings will not be used for public broadcast, exhibition, distribution, or sale; 5.5.2.3 occasions when the only purpose of the hiring is the recording or transmission of a performance, even though a non-paying audience may be present; 5.5.2.4 a recording or broadcast made by or on behalf of a registered not for profit organisation, a not for profit educational institution or a government entity (including but not limited to a government funded broadcaster). 5.5.3 The Recording Allowance is not to be recorded as ordinary pay for the calculation of overtime, penalty, shift and annual leave loading payments. 5.5.4 Definitions for the purposes of this clause include;

RECORDING ALLOWANCE. 7.13.6.1 Where a performance is to be recorded or transmitted by any means, all production staff who perform work on that performance are to receive an allowance as set out in Appendix B, provided that: 7.13.6.1 (a) the recording allowance will only be paid when the recording or transmission takes place during a performance or performances; and

This allowance is not to be recorded as ordinary pay insofar as the calculation of overtime, penalty, shift and annual leave loading payments are concerned. Where the Centre proposes an exclusion from payment of the recording allowance as provided for in clause 10.10.5 , the Centre will provide all production Employees with seven (7) days notice of any such performance provided that where such recording or transmission is arranged with less than seven (7) days’ notice, all production Employees will be provided with notice as soon as arrangements for the relevant recording or transmission are made.

  • Moving Allowance With the prior approval of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee concerning reimbursable costs, employees involuntarily transferred to a new job location fifty miles or more from the employee’s old residence than the old residence was from the old job location shall be reimbursed for receipted moving expenses, as provided in the IRS guidelines. For the purposes of this section, promotions and the exercise of any bumping option shall be considered as a voluntary transfer. Notwithstanding the above, at the discretion of the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee, employees may be reimbursed for moving expenses. 9.6.1 If an employee, whose moving expenses (all or a part) have been paid, resigns within one calendar year of the move, the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee may require the employee to reimburse the Agency for a portion of the moving expenses, based on the length of time the employee worked after the move. 9.6.2 Employees who have been involuntarily transferred or have exercised bumping rights to another geographical location of the State shall be allowed up to twenty-four hours of time off with pay for the purpose of attending to their personal affairs in their present location and establishing their personal affairs in their new location. Such time off from work must be approved in advance by the Agency Head and/or his/her Designee.

  • REPORTING ALLOWANCE l6.0l In the event that an employee reports for work on his regular shift without having been notified not to report at least two (2) hours prior to the start of his scheduled shift, he will be given at least four (4) hours work at his regular rate of pay, or if no work is available, he will be paid the equivalent of four (4) hours at his regular rate of pay in lieu of work. This provision shall not apply when there is a lack of work due to a situation beyond the control of the Company.

  • Tool Allowance (a) A tool allowance as set in the relevant Wage Tables in Appendix A per week shall be paid for all purposes to:- (i) Electrical workers at Grade EW 5 and beyond; (ii) Electrical workers performing the duties of: (A) Television Antenna Installer/Erector; (B) Television/Radio/Electronic Equipment Servicemen; and (iii) Apprentices - Contained within the relevant Apprentice Wage Rates.

  • Car Allowance The Company shall provide the Executive an automobile allowance of $750 per month during the term of Executive’s employment hereunder.

  • Housing Allowance During the Employment Period, Executive shall be entitled to receive a Cayman Islands housing allowance of US $6,000 per month. Executive will be responsible for any taxes due on such allowance.

  • Travelling Allowance Where an employee is required to attend or conduct a clinic away from their base hospital, or attend to employer business away from their base hospital, the employer shall, wherever possible, pay all accommodation, meals and travel costs (i.e. the employee shall not be required to pay for such expenses and get reimbursed at a later date). Employees shall be entitled, with prior approval, to claim any actual and reasonable expenses incurred.

  • Cleaning Allowance The University will pay for the cleaning of Department issued uniforms and necessary work clothing requiring cleaning worn by employees assigned to non-uniformed positions.

  • Vehicle Allowance Vehicle allowances for all distances travelled while on employer business shall be paid to employees required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties. This does not include travel to and from work. Vehicle allowance shall be 40¢ per kilometre. Vehicles driven on employer business will be in compliance with ICBC Regulations.

  • COST OF LIVING ALLOWANCE 29:01 All employees within the Bargaining Unit shall be paid a cost of living allowance based on the cost of living formula as set forth below: The cost of living allowance will be determined in accordance with changes in the Consumer Price Index, published by Statistics Canada (1961 = 100) and hereinafter referred to as the Consumer Price Index. The base Consumer Price Index shall be the Consumer Price Index for February 2016. The first (1st) cost of living adjustment shall be based on the Consumer Price Index of May, 2016, and each three (3) months thereafter compared to the base Consumer Price Index for February 2016. Cost of living adjustments shall be made on pay periods commencing 11:59 p.m. on the following dates: July 5, 2016; October 11, 2016; January 17, 2017; and April 10, 2017. The cost of living rate adjustment shall be One ($0.01) Cent per hour for each point five (.5) change in the Consumer Price Index. The cost of living allowance will be adjusted up or down if and as required for each quarterly period in accordance with the above mentioned formula, provided, however, that in no event will a decline in the Consumer Price Index below the figure as recorded for February, 2016, minus 2.5 points provide a basis for further reduction in the straight time rates set forth in Schedule "A" of the within Agreement. The amount of cost of living Allowance in effect at any time shall be included in computing vacation pay, holiday pay, call-in pay, sick pay, paid leave of absence and Workplace Safety Insurance Board payments. The amount of cost of living allowance shall be included in computing overtime pay except that there shall be no pyramiding as stated in clause 19:06 of the within Agreement. As of June 30, 2016, the cost of living rate adjustment less Five ($0.05) Cents* will be added to the base rates set forth in Schedule "A" in order to create new base rates - said new base rates to be effective as of July 1, 2016. Upon creation of new base rates as provided in the preceding paragraph, a new base Consumer Price Index shall be established and shall be calculated as being the Consumer Price Index for February 2016 minus 2.5 points. This article shall be frozen during the life of the Collective Agreement and no monies will be generated or paid during the term of the Collective Agreement. *The Five ($0.05) Cents referred to was folded into the Base Hourly Wage Rates noted in Schedule “A” effective July 1, 1986. The University of Windsor and C.U.P.E., Local 1001 recognize that some Employees in the Bargaining Unit are using the Sick Leave Plan for illness and various medical appointments above the normal average within the University staff. The Union believes it is the duty of the Employer to manage the Sick Leave Plan and the Union's duty to represent their members eligible to receive sick pay to the best of their ability. To assist the Employer with their concern over the use of the Plan and to protect the interest of the members against any possible erosion of the existing Plan, the Union agrees to counsel all employees by letter and by presentations at general meetings on the need for regular attendance. Further, the Union will encourage members, whenever possible, to schedule appointments after their shift has concluded or as near to the end of their shift as possible.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.
